                            Zeathra`s Life Story: Book One

 The rian padded on the cave roughf, I snuggled next to my mother, next to her I felt safe, her heart beat rang in my ears, I  just dug my body deeper into her when a loud crackle thunderd threw the woods. The light of the flash bouned off the grass. It made a light, letting me see the outside world for the first time.

 Mom felt me push into her and let out a small "Omph." in surprize. She lifted me up from the scruff of my neck and placed me  next to her head, resting on the cave ground. I didint like it there so I tryed to craw back to my comfurtabule spot, she laughfed and watched me try to craw back. She blocked me with her paw for me not to go there, I groaned and closed my eyes.

 A black male apered next to my mom.Suprised mother looked up starteld. The male bared its teeth and growled. He fliped mother over, makeing her tumble to the wall of the cave,she hit it with a thunk and moaned.

 "Let me see the pup!" He shouted at her. She frowned and siad between weezes, "No...." He just barked and firecely charged at me full speed. "No dont take her!" Mother siad trying to get her footing. "To late Rose!" He siad picking me up. He raced out of the cave leaveing mother close to tears laying on her back, devistaded. She finaly siad: "Trop, why?"

 The rian jabbing at my fur ; I was being carried into the forest. I finaly crashed to the ground. The black wolf hurringly made a hole, he smiled evily at me  and carried me into a hole. He brushed leaves over me and added dirt. "Knowone will ever find you know Zeathra! Not even your mom!" He ran of, leaveing me in the hole. I whined and curled up. No! I thought, dont leave me here! 

 The night moon turned into a blistering sun,I opend my eyes. I was suprised I made it threw the night without sufacateing, I then remberd: Mother. I looked up and only saw leaves and dirt. I nosed up a little breathing hole for me and popped my haed out  the reast of me was  burried under the leaves and dirt. 

 The sun grew stronger as   I watied, at least for someone to find me deep in the woods. I shiverd at the thought of not being found and wandering the woods alone. 

 Then I saw a familer face; Mom! The white wolf (Mom) weaved threw her way threw the trees trying to find me. When she came nearer I whined and and tryd to russel the leaves.She caught me out of the corner of her eye and dashed towrds me. I knew mother couldent see it but my tial was wagging. She grabbed  me and carried me to a nearby tree. 

 She nuzzled me. She smiled  and picked me up. She was heading to the cave.

 The wolves at the cave gave us a greeting, a once alpha feamale aproched Mother and bowed. " Is Zeathra all right?" She asked "Yes she is." Mom said her voice muffled from me haning in her mouth. Father apeared infront of the tiny crowd that formed. He woofed at mom, siginling her to come over to her. Mother gave me  her mother and went towrds  Father.

 "Helow little one." Star ( Mothers mom said.) I smiled and stared at her grey coat and brown eyes. She smiled back at me and hurried me  into the cave.

  She settled down on the cave ground, and gesterd me to do so to "Come here," She said. "I need to tell you something important." I smiled, wagged my tail and ploped down next to her. 

 "Know listen dear, we live in Alakas woods.  Near  here is a town called Nome, if you do go in there be sneaky, those folks dont like wolves." I tillted my head."Grandma, why are you telling me this now?" Well, because when you get older I won`t be around, and I want you to know this."

 Her tender eyes melted into mine. "Ok," I said, tail wagging."Go on.." Grandma cleared her throat and went on. '' If you ever get hungry try to get met from a place called "The Butchers Shop." If you can not get it try to eat from trashcans. Ethier those two things in that town or you will die." I nodded my head. "Thanks grandma." I got up and listend at moms and dads conversation to end. It did. I padded over to them.

  "Helow sweetheart." Mother said. I wagged my tail and smiled at father. He rolled hs eyes and steped over me, his paw swating at my head. I let out a yelp and mother yipped angerly at Father. He just ignored her and went outside. Mother looked down at me. '' Why dont you go take a nap." Mother said."You look tired."  I nodded someley and went to a wall of the cave, curled up in a tight ball in my head I thought.' Why dosent Father like me?' A small tear made its way down to my nose and dripped off.

                             2 Years Later...

 

 

 

 

 Now I was no-longer a pup. My parents of coruse were alphas and I will conutue to folow in there paw prints.

 2 weeks later Im in the woods agian. Bushs brushing my fur. I spoted a deer eating grass, the snow coverd most of its food source. It was skinny and old, it would be a easey prey. 

 I smiled and readied myself to pounce. I raised my rump in the air and leaped onto the deer. It moaned and I had its neeck in my jaws, I draged it down. It moved its head alittle bit before dieing. I went over to a nearby stream and drank water.

 The blood flowed with the current of the water, makeing its way down stream. A splash supprised me and I lifted my head up. There stode a black wolf. "Hiyah!" He said. ''Names Buck, " He titled his head towds the deer. "Do you need help with that?" He asked.  

 I nodded and we made or way over to it. "So," I asked." Do you have any freinds?" He nodded." Here I will show him to you." He stoped and called." Rick!" A beautiful gray wolf came out from behind a tree. " Helow.'' He said, stareing into my eyes, a small smile crept up my face.

  He looked at the deer. "Need help?" He asked. I shruged my shoulders but nodded. He smiled and us three went up to the deer. 

  Once we were draging the deer for a while I asked:" So, do you two have any packs?" They shook there heads no. ''you know.. if you guys want to you can join my pack." They wagged there tails, then Rick asked: '' Are you the Alpha? " "No," I said. "But I will be cuz my parents are, so in about maybye a few months I could be." I puffed out my chest, looking proud.   

 "Well," Rick said. "Do you think your strong, toughf, brave?" I said" Well yah.." My voice was a little firece when I spoke to him. He smiled. 

  I growled, bared my teeth and ran-full speed direclty to him. He shoke his head and then ran towrds me. We clocked into each other and tombeld to the ground. I laned ontop  him. I smiled and gigiled, I nuzzled him, A love nuzzle.

  His eyes narrowed on me and he manged to smile. Buck was watching from behind  bush`s. His mouth suddley droped open and he laughed, he then sang:"Love birds!" Me and Rick said at the  same time:'WERE NOT LIVE BIRDS!!!!!!!" Buck ignored us and sang "Rick and Zeathra, sittin in a cave, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!"

  Rick gawked, then stoped and said "Buck, do I have to also say that you have a girl freind too---Kaya."

 Buck blushed. He came over to the deer then said " Come'on,we gotta cary this thing."

          We carried it in silince. When I gathred enough bravery to look at Rick, he just grunted and earged along. I couldent wait to get home now. 

  Us three stoped infront of the cave. Buck then remeberd something, like a spark shooting  out in his head. '' Kaya,"He sighed. "I have to go find her. When I reteurn I will join the pack." He turned back to the deep part of the woods.

  I sighed and carried the deer in with Rick. Mother lay on the ground. She saw me comeing and lifted her head. "Hi." She said. "She looked at Rick. "Whos this?" "Well,"I studerd."This is Rick. He wants to join the pack." Well, he has to fight your Father." She said.

 Rick stared at Father. " I heard you want to fight." Father said. "Ok then, we will take it outside  then.

  They did a circule around each other, and let out a low growl. Rick charged for Father, but Father bit him by the scruff of his neck. Rick, more angery lept on Father. I knew what was going to happen, I rushed back in the cave. A few mins later I heard a long yelp and a strong howl, when I rushed outside, Father was dead.
