Really rushed. Starfire's right, Aleu jumps into it a little too quickly to be believable. So does Adam. And then there's the fact that Aleu knew so quickly about her, ah, condition. Human mothers don't tend to know until a month, which for a dog would translate into a week.
You have some good stuff here, but you have to "think fourth-dimensionally," as Doc Brown would say.

IT seems a bit rushed but maybe you should work on discribing the characters?It's a good idea but I don't think that Aleu would jumpin into romance just like that. I know her attitude all well
