Amy was gasping for air as she followed the tire tracks. She suddenly saw a snowflake fall." oh no!" she thought. "if it snows the tire tracks are gone!" She gathered all the energy she hadand ran as fast as she could. But behind a tree a pair of eyes were locked on to Amy.   

 Justin was in his new house by the window, thinking about Amy usually. Janice walked to him in a flirtly kind of way then fluffed her tail around his neck. "Sweetheart, we need to reherse for the wedding."she said.

 Justin didn't move and continue to stare out the window. Every five seconds a image of Amy comes to mind. Janice gave him a cold glare. she shouted "LOOK JUSTIN! YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TO ME, NOT THAT WORTHLESS MUTT!!"

Justin slowly turned to her." You will NEVER talk about Amy like that. My heart ONLY belongs to Amy! no one else. Not even YOU can change that . UNDERSTAND?!" He yelled at her.

Janice was quiet for a moment then she walked away. "Amy.." he said to himself before tears fell from his eyes.

 It was nightfall and Amy just crashed on the ground. "Oh Justin! where are you?" she said. It was getting colder and Amy knew she won't last the nights out here in the cold.

The wind blew harder than before. Amy tried to a least walk to a shelter for the night. None were seen then she said "There.'' a cave was near by. She trotted to the cave and fell asleep as soon she entered the cave.

The next morning Amy woke up with a horrible surprise. A pack of wolves was surrounding her. All of them growled at her.

 "How dare you enter our grounds, mutt?" one of the wolves said. "Please I mean no harm. I'm just passing through." All the wolves laughed at her. " Who ever passes by us will surely regret it." the leader of the pack said.

 The big white wolf walked by Amy looking up and down at her. "Please! There is someone very important to me that I have to find!" Let's teach this mutt how we deal with trespassers!" one wolf said.

 They all closed in on her but Amy growled an showed her teeth. "I won't fail. I will see Justin even if I have to fight all of you!''  "Justin? isn't that the fancy huskey we saw two days ago in a truck "? the wolf behind her asked.

"yeah that's him" Amy said. "Oh please why a dog like that want to be with you mutt? " the leader asked. "I don't care what you think I LOVE him."

 The cave got silent. The leader stepped out of the cave. "WWhat's wrong with him?"asked Amy. The wolf behind her said."He used to love a purebred huskey too but it was forbbiden in his parent's pack so he ran away to be with her but.."

"But what ?"asked Amy. The wolf continued "But despite their love for each other the couldn't be together. Since he left the pack for her he lived by himself until we found him and that's how he became our leader. That is why he so cold to other dogs." 

 Amy walked next to the lead and sat next to him. He said "The day I came back and asked her to be my mate she told me she already had one. Her parents pick out her mate. She was about to move to America with my puppies and never came back."

 Amy looked down for a moment. She looked at him and said "I'm so sorry that happened." "At least you're going after the one you love." he said. "But she was going to America!" But I could of at least fight for her!" he said to Amy.

Amy was quiet. She opened her but The leader spoke instead. "I will help you find him as much as I can." "But its too far! He's probably at his new house by now and winter is already here!!" Amy shouted. "We are wolves. Even if we lose the track of the truck we can sniff the gas or the tires." He reassured her.

"Hey Boss! What do you want to do now?!" the wolf behind them said. The leader turned and said "we will help miss..?" "Amy."  "Nice name. I'm Noah" he said. "Now get some sleep. We need to get up at dawn before it snows."said Noah.

It was at night and Justin was sighing on the floor while his owner was reading a book in bed. He notice that Justin was alot sadder than before. "What's wrong boy?" he asked Justin. He walked by and petted Justin. Justin licked his hand slightly. 

 "Maybe the sight of your beutiful mate will cheer you up." he said. Justin slightly growled. "okay... how about a walk? You haven't been out in a while. "  Justin wagged his tail a little. "Maybe a walk will make me feel better." he said to himself.

 " Atta boy! Can some one walk Justin for an hour? I go t to go somewhere." he said. Then Justin got mad all over again. he stormed of to open window near the kitchen.  

 He didn't know the city well but he had to get away. The whole cycle was repeating again. He rather die than go back to the loveless house.

 He kept runing untill he found a shack. He hid himself in the hay. "Amy, where are you?" he said as he lad in the hay crying again. Then he heard a few paws coming from the front so Justin was still and quiet.   

 Two dogs, apparently both male, had entered. Justin moved back alittle untill he hit a bucket behind him. The dogs ears perked up. The golden one spoke." AAlright cccome on out. WWWe  KKnow you're there!" The black dog next to him started to growl a little.

 Justin slowly came out of the hay. The two looked at Justin with confusion. "Aren't you a little too fancy to live in a shack like this?" the black one spoke. "Please don't tell anyone I'm here!" Justin finally said.

 "Why? Is some one after you?" the golden dog said after calming down a bit. "I guess you can say that." Justin said sadly. He told his situation to them and the began to understand.

 The black dog said "Don't worry about we'll help you out. Oh..by the way I'm John and that's Logan".  Logan said " Nice to meet you." "Likewise. I'm Justin" He said. "You can hang here for a while and we'll Get some food too when we go out." said Logan.

 "Can I go at night? Just a little walk." Justin asked. "Well..I suggest you wait a few weeks before you do." said John. "Thanks guys for the help." Justin said. "No problem!" they both said.

Since Winter had come early the trail took weeks to find but Amy never gave up. With the help of Noah's pack she was able to cover more gound than she ever could alone.

Noah's second in command, Joe a tanish white wolf, was aways near by to tell if enemies are by. The only females in the pack was Maddie, Nicole,Bre, and Erin and soon were friends to Amy.

 Maddie was the caring athlete. Erin was a little quiet but everyone loved her personality. Nicole was a social butterfly,and her sister Bre was sort of a gossip and a little self-centerd but means well. All of them admired how Amy was determined to find Justin.

 Amy tossed and turn every night with nightmares. She dreams that she's runing towards Justin but Jusin walks with Janice so far than she can only see their shadow figures. KISSING!

 Weeks She would always wake up at night both screaming and cryng. Everybody tries to help calm her down but the nightmares just get worse. She barley slept.

 Then one day Noah started to smell people in the north! Amy dash to the north and saw a whole town of people."Justin!" she thought before she ran towards the town, but Noah stepped in front of her.

 "What's your plan Amy? You can't just walk in like you onw the town!" he said. Amy paused for a moment then said "I'll search the whole town if I have to!!"

 Noah saw her determination. "I see. but you know that we can't help and people are not nice to stray." "I know Noah. Thank you for everything. I couldn't made it here with you or all of the packs' help."she said. "Don't mention it. The pack will miss you though. All of them."said Noah sadly.

 "I'll miss all of you too. Goodbye" Amy said. She ran towards the town. "We'll be around if you need us. Just howl!!" Noah shouted But Amy was too far away to hear. 

Justin had a hard time living with John and Logan but later he loved his new life of friendship and freedom. Soon the flashlights of police looking for Justin had dissapeared. He was releaved that he could go out for walks now.

 Logan and John were now his best friends. Logan was always funny and cheering Justin up from his depression. John was the adventurer and aways dragged both dogs into trouble. Even though they both tried to get Justin dating again but his heart still burned for Amy.

 One day at sunset, after John nearly killed both of them stealing meat fom the locker, Justin wanted to take a rest from the day of adventure.They both went to hunt for some food. He suddenly saw a other dog entered the shack. It was pretty dark so he assumed that it was an enemy since John said that a few other strays were dangerous around there. But he mostly thought it was Janice looking for him so he attacked the figure. 

 Despite the fact she was in the town she really had no idea how to find him. "Justin! Justin where are you? Its me Amy!!" she shouted and searched for days but she was either shot at by human or nearly killed by other strays.

She eats little creature like rabbits or fish to keep up her strengh. One day she was too tired to move. She saw a ragged old shack with hay in it. She was too tired to see if someone was there.

POW! she was hit to the ground by a stray. She Growled and pounced on the dog. She was about to finish him off untill she hera a voice. "Amy?" a familier voice spoke. "Justin? Is that you?" she asked with a sad tone in her voice
