"Oh Forest arent they beautiful" Kaisa said looking up at Forest with a smile. "They are Kaisa look at the little guys". Replied Forest looking down at the wolf pups. "Oh dont go calling them all guys this ones a girl". My mother said as she looked at me. My father then came up and nuzzled me and gave me a kiss.

A few weeks later... My brothers and I were growing fast but my mother always had this sad look on her face when i tried to play with them. I was very weak My parents couldnt figure out why, I could barely stand some days. I over herd my parents talking one night they dont think i'm going to make it. My dad woke up early with my brothers again this morning to take them out hunting for food I wanted to go but my mother said she had something else planned for me and her today. I knew what she was thinking though that i was only going to slow them down. I followed my mom out of the den i squinted because the sun was shining right down on us, my mother and I were going to go for a walk. We went into this beautiful meadow with long grass and flowers everywhere i began to prance , just like any other pup would do. "Be careful" my mother called out to me. I stopped right by her legs just then her head went up high over the grass and her ears twitched. She had heard something, she began to sniff the air. Her eyes widened when she saw a man in the bush pointing something at us i got a quick glipms of him "RUN" my mother screamed a fast reaction came upon us both and we ran as fast as we could. I fell in a little hole that was in the meadow and let out a great big yelp i tried to get up and run again but my front leg was hurting to much. My mother turned her head and looked for me she found me and picked me up by the scruff of my neck. She ran out of the meadow paniking but now we had nothing to protect us, I herd 2 big bangs then i herd a 3rd my mother had fallen down and i had fallen out of her grip. I couldnt see the men anymore they were gone. I got up and limped to my mother she looked like she had fallen asleep "mother... get up....whats wrong" I couldnt understand why she wouldnt get up i nudged her "get up please" i called out to her. Then i saw a wooned in her side and blood dripping from it. Tears began to stream down my face "No mother please get up i'm scared" She had died from those man. I began to cry even harder and then collasped i was very tired. I was awakened by the pain that was in my leg it hurt so badly and i couldnt even get up, I barried my self in my mothers fur  because it was getting colder out. I eventually got to sleep even though my leg was in alot of pain.

The next morning i was awakened to foot steps coming toward my mother and I i quickly barrowed my self farther into my mothers fur. It was a man my heart began to beat faster thinking it was the man that killed my mother. The man looked a lot older then the man who killed my mother. "Damn Hunters, why dont they leave these beautiful creatures alone" The man said as he bent down to examen my mother. "Poor girl, i bet she had pups to" He looked around the meadow for any sign of pups. He seemed very friendly i figured this might be the only chance i get to survive i began to come out "Whats this?" the man said. I came out limping with my tail between my legs. "Aww you poor thing" The man put his hand near my face and let me sniff, He then began to pet me. The man picked me up off the ground and snuggled me in his warm coat, I passed out again from being so tired. When i woke up i was on a table with 2 men and a women looking at me. One of the men was the man who had found me. "Well Mr. Stride its seems to be that this little pup has a broken leg, and worse yet she needs bone merrow.Was she with her mother or father?" The one man asked. "She was with her mother but she was killed by hunters, her father was no where around". Mr. Stride anwered. "Well its a good thing you found this little girl otherswise she would not have made it. I have an idea is her mother still out there?" the man asked. " Yes she was lying with her mother not to far from here". Mr. Stride anwsered. "Could we go get her body?" " Why would we need her body Dr. Vandercran?" Asked Mr. Stride. "Well the only way this pup is going to survive is if we get her bone merrow her mom is the only way". Dr. Vanderdran anwsered. The men had set out to get my mothers body. The women that stayed behind to watch over me was very friend as well she talked to me in a soothing voice and helped calm me down. When i saw the men arrive with my mothers body i couldnt figure out why they had brought her. The women gave me a needle and i fell asleep. When i woke up i was in a little bed much comfyer then the den in the woods, and with a bandige around my leg. "There she is, Hello little one" Mr. Stride said as he pet me. "Your mother just saved you life little one if it wernt for her bone merrow.." "Merrow..." Mr. Stride interupted Dr. Vandercran. "Parden me Mr. Stride" "Merrow thats what i sha'll call her it fits doesnt it girl". He said as he pat me on the head. "Merrow it is then Mr. Stride". Dr. Vandercran said with a smile on his face.

I was now full grown and fully healed, much stronger as well. Mr. Stride had kept me and looked after me. He had put a collar on me to know that i was his. We became best friends, unseperable. One day Mr. Stride took me down town, i saw other dogs in town but they all had leashes on Mr. Stride never put one on me because he knew i was never going to leave his side. "Well thats some big dog you've got there Mr. Stride". A man said as he looked behinde Mr. Stride at me as i was exploring. "Oh Merrow is no dog shes a wolf, I rescued her when she was just a pup". Replied Mr. Stride. "Wolves are dangerouse you shouldnt have her". The man said with a seriouse look on his face. "Merrow's not dangerouse she wouldnt hurt a fly". Mr. Stride giggled. Just then i looked at the man and he looked at me i recognised his face and his scruffy beard he was the man in the meadow the man who killed my mother. The fur on my neck began to stand up and i began to growl. "You need to keep that thing locked up Mr. Stride she might attack someone one day or worse she might attack you". The man said and walked away. "Merrow easy now girl dont listen to him, easy shhh calm down". Mr. Stride's soothing voice helped calm me down but seeing that man just made me went to tare him up after what he had done to my mother.

A few years later me and Mr. Stride were inside relaxing on a cold winters day. I was getting older and more beautiful according to Mr. Stride, And he looked like he was getting alot older aswell. I was lying in my comfy bed when i herd coughin from the other room Mr. Stride was in watching TV. He coughes alot now in his old age. But this coughin wouldnt stop he tried to get up and then collapsed to the ground i herd a thump and i ran to him from my bed. He couldnt stop coughin just then it stopped and his eyes looked into mine he gave me a pat "Good girl Merrow". He said to me. Then his eyes closed and his hand fell off my back and onto the ground. He resembled my mother when she had died, "Oh no" Tears fell from my face i ran out of my doggy door onto the streets i ran as fast as i could to Dr. Vandercran because he was the only other man i could trust, I ran to the veterinary clinic and began to bark as loud as i could then i gave out the a great big howl that everyone in town herd. Dr. Vandercran ran out "Merrow! What is it girl?" I ran away from him he followed we ran all the way to Mr. Strides house, I ran up to Mr. Stride and sat next to him. "Mr. Stride!" Dr. Vandercran yelled. "Good girl Merrow" Dr. Vandercran ran to the phone he spoke in  a shaky voice but wasnt on the phone for long, soon after 2 men ran in the door and picked Mr. Stride up out of the door and into a truck. I looked at them as they rushed Mr. Stride into an ambulence. Dr. Vandercran jumped in as well " come on girl" he said looking at me i hopped into the ambulence. I was soo confused i didnt know what was going to happen to Mr. Stride i was just praying for him to be ok.

I woke up in a hospital with Mr. Stride on a bed and Dr. Vandercran standing beside him. Mr. Stride was hooked up on all these wires and things it killed me to see him like this, i lowered my head and fell back to sleep. I was awakened by a man stroking my head, "Hey girl" It was Dr. Vandercran. I rose my head and couldnt see Mr. Stride in his bed, i couldnt see him anywhere, i paced around the room looking for him. " He's... he's dead girl" Dr. Vandercran said with tears in his eyes. My eyes widened and my heart droped. Then i let out this great big howl a nurse ran in the room "Dr. Vadercran can you please take her out shes scaring the patients" "Come on girl" Dr. Vandercran said and took me outside. Just then something came over me i ran, ran away as fast as a could with tears falling from my face i just kept running "Merrow! Come back!"  Dr. Vandercran yelled as he watched me get farther away from town.
