*Note* this is from Narrators point of view, I'll be making two more like this with larka's and Sky's point of veiw.

 Prolouge

Larka was one to behold (for a  female dog that is). She was strong, brave, smart, street wise and especially tough. Anyone asking for a fight was doomed to regret it forever... 

 

Sky however was something different. A bit timid and gentle. She used to be a snooty girl. But now.. She was something else. After her rich owner had mysteriously been murdered, she had been kicked out of the mansion and onto the streets. With no one to care for her and having little knowledge of the outside world, she struggled just to survive. When she stumbled onto Slayer and Alyx's gang, she begged for entrance. They accepted her and she became the medic. At first she enjoyed her life, but when Larka came, trouble was brewing in the pot of life. It all started on a normal day...

 

Chapter 1

 

"Sky! Sky!" A little pup bounced around the border collie's tail.

"Sky! Come play with me! Please?"

 

"Of course I will!" Sky smiled at the little pup. his name was jay he looked a bit like his father Slayer. 

   He was sky's favorite pup and they always had a good time together.

Slyly, Sky sneaked over behind Jay and bumped him gently with her nose. 

"You're it!"

"hey!"

The pup turned around and immediatly began chasing Sky, laughing the whole time.

"Well, well having fun are we?"

Sky looked up at the sound of larka's voice. 

"oh um hi Larka."

Larka said nothing but smirked back. her eyes twinkled mischeivously.

"You better enjoy your fun while you can." larka said to the little pup."Your days just might be numbered.

Sky and Jay gasped simultaneously.

"Wh-wh-what will happen?" asked poor Jay shakily.

"Oooh the jekk will come in the middle of the night and drag you away by your tail."

The pup squealed and hid behind Sky shivering.

Larka heldback a giggle.

"Now see here Larka! i've had enough of your constant joking and teasing! Can't you see the poor pup is scared out of his mind? And anyway, what the hecks a jekk?!"

"You challenging me?"

"No of course not! I'm just-...."

Larka snarled."Then don't!"

"AND I've also had enough of your cockiness and rudeness!"

Sky growled. To the pup she said "Go to your mother, I'll be back."

Jay scampered off casting a worried look at Sky. Sky smiled back and motioned for him to keep going. When he was out of sight, she turned back to Larka.

"I am asking you very politely to stop NOW!"

Feeling insulted larka bared her teeth.

"make me!" she said childishly.

That did it.

Sky turned heel and left. 

Outraged and feeling more insulted Larka  tried to jump on her. but Sky, being a bit smaller, stepped out of Larka's dive.Larka landed with a hard "ooommpf!"

Sky then stepped over and frowned at her. 

'Don't do that again or I'm telling Slayer."

Larka didn't really care.

Which was unfortunate for Sky because she wasn't exactly a good fighter. All she was really doing was bluffing.

Larka growled and tackled Sky. Sky yipped in surprise.

Pretty soon both the females were snarling and trying to tear each other up.

The sounds of the brawl reached the ears of Slayer(the gangs leader) and he rushed over to see what was happening. 

"THATS ENOUGH LADIES!" He barked.

Sky and larka stopped immediatly in their tracks.

Looking sheepish. Larka hung her head.

"If you two can't get along, then you neither of you should have a lace in this gang!" Slayer growled.

Both the girls hung their heads.

"We're sorry Slayer.. We'll try to get along from now on..", Sky piped up.

Slayer nodded, 'then please remember, there's no violence inside this gang."

Both females nodded. Sky kept her blue eyes fixed into Slayer's. She liked him too much and didn't want to disapoint him. Sky quickly caught herself. What was she thinking?! Slayer already had Alyx and they already had pups. Ah well.. She sighed. Maybe someday I'll find the right guy. her mind drifted, Slayer came back into her thoughts..

She looked up from her day dreaming to see larka pull one last smirk at her before heading off.

i may also do a pov of this fic in Jay's eyes (Blue's char. He'll be the lover of my Sky when he's older ;D) I'll have to ask first. So since I don't have enough words yet.. I have to keep typing even though this is totally off topic... :steam:
