It all started as a normal day in Nome. Everything was back to normal a few weeks after Balto and the sled team brought back the anitoxin to save all the sick children of Nome. Especially, Jenna's owner Rosie, after wards Balto and Jenna realized how they much loved each other and fell in love and began a good solid relationship. Our story begins with Jenna walking along with her very best friends Dixie and Sylvie who were gossiping as they walked through an alley way.

"Did he really......?" Dixie asked very enthralled with the gossip that Sylvie was saying.

"He sure did, and she caught him in the act to", Sylvie replied.

"Who would of thought it would happen to them", said Dixie.

"I know right"

The whole time Jenna just walked along rolling her eyes at their endless gossip.

"It's like they can't live without it", Jenna chuckled to herself.

Even though their endless gossip annoyed Jenna to no end they were still her best friends and nothing could change that.

They continued walking until they reached they reached three barrels, each sat on their own personal barrel.

"That's a shame, he doesn't deserve her", Dixie turned to Jenna "What do you think Jenna?"

Jenna didn't respond she had other things on her mind, or should I say someone.

For the past few weeks all Jenna could think about was her mate Balto and how lucky she was to have someone very special in her life and she knew he felt the same. Her thoughts were interupted by Dixie.

"Jenna? Jenna? Are you listening?"

"Huh, what was that?"

"You weren't even listening you've been acting this way for weeks now, is something up?"

"No I was just thinking about Balto again", Jenna said dreamily.

"Here we go again", Dixie and Sylvie rolled their eyes simataneously.

"I just can't stop thinking about him, i've never felt this way about anybody before, being with Balto just makes me feel so alive I can't explain it".

"That's nice and all Jenna, but.....",

"Can we talk about something else besides Balto for a change", Dixie finished.

"Yeah, it seems that's all you ever talk about now. Balto this, and Balto that, it's not normal Jenna", Sylvie said.

"Sylvie's right Jenna do you understand?" Sylvie asked.

Once again Jenna failed to hear them speaking.

"Jenna? JENNA!?, They yelled simutaneously breaking Jenna's train of thought again.

"Huh, i'm sorry guys did you say something"?

"Yes we were talking about.......".

Dixie was soon interupted by the sounds of barking and paws padding swiftly through the snow. The mail team had just finished a delivery run and were just coming back. The team approached quickly. Two dogs in the back, followed by Nikki, Star, and Kaltag with Balto as the lead dog. Jenna's heart beat began to speed up a she saw Balto aproaching. She jumped off the barrel and ran up to Balto. Her heart pounding so hard that it was going to pop right out of her chest.

"BALTO! BALTO!" She yelled with glee as she ran up to the side of Balto.

This was the longest they have been away from each other since Balto delivered the antitoxin. They soon halted to a stop and the musher stepped off the sled and unhooked all the dogs. As soon as the musher unhooked Balto, Jenna immediately ran up to Balto and nuzzled him like crazy almost knocking him off balance.

"Oh Balto, I missed you so much", Jenna said still nuzzling Balto who returned with the same passion.

"We'll I told you i'd be back Jen, besides I was only gone for a day Jen", Balto chuckled at his mates worriness.

"I know but that day felt like a whole week, it was unbearable being without you around".

" I know what you mean Jenna I couldn't wait to see your sweet beautiful smiling face. Your all I thought about when I was gone".

"Please, I think i'm going to barf", Dixie whispered into Sylivie's ear to make sure that Jenna or Balto didn't hear them.

"Ditto", Sylvie replied quietly as well.

"So Jenna, how about dinner at my place tonight?" Balto asked.

Before Jenna was going to accept Balto's offer Dixie cut in on the conversation.

"Sorry to dissapoint you Balto, but tonight is Friday and Friday is girls night. Isn't that right Sylvie?"

"Mmmm hmmm, sure is we get together every Friday and just have a girls night out. Isn't that right Jenna?" Sylvie asked.

"Oh, come on guys we can do that anytime. I would love to Balto", Jenna replied as she padded up to Balto and kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled him tenderly. Which Balto soon returned with a kiss of his own.

"Great Jen! I'm going to the boat and help Boris get everything set up", Balto replied giving Jenna one final kiss on the lips, "I love you Jenna", Balto whispered softly as he nuzzled Jenna.

"I love you to Balto", she whispered back.

Balto then turned and ran to the boat to get ready. Jenna watched him dissapear around the corner before returning her attention back to her friends who didn't look to happy.

"What?" Jenna asked blankly.

"Jenna, you know we always hang out together on Fridays", Dixie complained.

"Yeah, we've had girls night out since we were pups", Sylvie whined.

"Please guys, you need to understand that Balto is very special to me know......", Jenna pleaded.

"Oh, so I guess were not special enough for you, huh"? Sylvie snorted.

"No, I didn't mean it like that I just meant that Balto and I are getting real serious. I really love him with all my heart, but that doesn't mean that you guys aren't special to me. You guys are my best friends and nothing is going to change that. Do you forgive me"? Jenna pleaded with her friends.

Dixie and Sylvie looked at each other and back at Jenna and smiled.

"Okay, we forgive you Jenna", they said.

"Thanks guys", she smiled warmly."I'll tell you what girls how about next Friday we hang out just us girls"?

"That be okay", Dixie replied.

"Okay i'll see you guys later I have to get ready for Balto", she said as she turned and ran away,"Wish me luck", she shouted.

"I don't believe this, how could she toss us aside for that filthy mongrel halfbreed"! Dixie shouted completely outraged.

"This is the fifth time this month that shes dumped us for that mutt"! Sylvie shouted equally outraged as Dixie. "Well that does it, Balto has got to go once and for all", Sylvie said menicingly.

"But how?" Dixie cried, " there almost inseperable, how are we supposed to split them up?"

Sylvie then started to laugh menicingly as she got an idea.

"I know the perfect way to end this pathetic puppy dog love", Sylvie smirked.

"How"? Dixie leaned in closer to hear Sylvie's plan.

But unaware their were a pair of eyes spying on them from the alley way listening in on their plan.

"Are you sure he'll be able to help us Sylvie", Dixie questioned.

"Absolutely, he's perfect and he hates Balto so he won't mind helping us".

They walked up to a door with a doggy door built in and scratched on the door. Their was silence until the sound of paws padded towards the door and a black and white malumate poked his head out the door.

"What do you to airheads wan't", Steele snarled.

"Umm.... we just wanted...... umm.... to know.... if", Dixie stuttered.

"SPIT IT OUT SISTER", Steele growled.

His tone frightened Dixie and she ran scared and hid behind Sylvie. Ever since Steele lost his spot on the mail team to Balto he has been more agressive and angry with everyone and everything.

"We were hoping that you would help us with something", Sylvie said slyly.

Steele huffed,"And why would I help the two of you with anything".

Dixie and Sylvie exchanged mischievious grins before looking back at Steele.

"Because it's a plan to split Balto and Jenna up", Dixie explained.

As soon as Steele heard those two names he decided to hear their plan.

"Okay girls, you have my undivided attention", Steele chuckled, "Now tell me more about this plan".

As Dixie wen't on to explain their plan to Steele their was that pair of eyes hiding in the bushes,"I have got to stop this from happening".

Meanwhile, at Balto boat he and Jenna were enjoying a great meal made by Boris.

"Well i hope everything was to your liking Jenna and you enjoyed your meal", Boris said cleaning up.

"Everything was great Boris, thank you", Jenna replied.

"Well I glad you enjoyed........", Boris was interrupted by Muk and Luk who were running so fast that they ran straight in to Boris and locking him tight in a great big bear hug crushing the russian goose. Balto and Jenna couldn't help but snicker.

"HI! Uncle Boris come and play with us please"!

"Ugh! Why not besides it will give these two lovebirds some alone time", he snickered as he was taken away by the two polar bears.

This made Balto and Jenna blush beet red.

"Umm...., well were alone", Balto spoke nervously.

"Yes we are", Jenna said slyly and kissed Balto who returned the kiss with his own. And they began to make out until they were interupted.

"Excuse me?" A white female Husky padded up the walkway and into the galley, "I'm so sorry I don't mean to interupt but, you wouldn't happen to be Balto and Jenna would you"?

"Yes that's us," Jenna replied, "why and may I ask who you are"?

"I'm sorry, my name is Angel and I have come to tell you that there's people out there that look to ruin your relationship and I regret to inform you Jenna that it is your best friends Dixie and Sylvie".

"WHAT!!!" Jenna shouted at the top of her lungs not believing what she has just heard. "That's ridiculous! My friends would never try to do that to me and just who the hell do you think you are to say that about my friends!" Jenna shouted once more.

"Jenna calm down..... , Balto interjected trying to calm down his mate.

"Look, I just want to help I heard them talking ...."

"Enough! I don't wan't hear this! Please leave!"

The husky sighed and turned
