Chapter 3: Blackheart’s Corruption

The final move in Blackheart’s plan is afoot! Who will stop him now?

It’s been a few moons since that moment, When Balto and I had our last fight. Oh how I wish it never happened, my life wouldn’t be such a mess if I just kept my mouth shut. Balto might have been right, helping? But I can’t think of why! But I saw the wolf, her belly, it was a bit enlarged, showing sign’s of puppies, I knew the worst had happened! Or was it my imagination? I slept at my home as usual, but today, I’d get a visit that would really be a rude awakening!

It was a normal day, I got plenty of sleep, the sun was shining, and all seemed well. I was getting over what happened and I was drawing closer to Steele, only, a wolf named Blackheart gave me warning’s about Steele, to take care. But Blackheart? He was a handsome wolf! I didn’t see one part of him disfigured or in bad condition, better than Steele or Balto, but I didn’t know him yet, so I brushed him off. It was Steele I was planning on going after! Steele had changed a lot and he seemed really nice, Balto however never talked to me and was always around that Ramira. It drove me nuts to see them together; he even walked around town with her! But who cares? That’s the past; all was well, until he showed again, Frost. I was just walking around normally until I heard his voice.

“Why?” I heard an odd voice say, “Why didn’t you listen to me?” That moment I knew who it was!

“Frost?” I asked, turning and seeing him in the shadow’s

“Why did you not listen? I warned you!” He didn’t sound so happy, I guess I knew why.

“I had to leave; Rosie would have got scared if I didn’t return to her.” He huffed and almost laughed,

“Excuses! You’re giving him what he wants!” At that moment I began to realize what Frost meant! Steele did this and was taking advantage of me!

“I’m, sorry Frost, I should have listened to you.” But the fact of Balto and that female wolf still made me believe he cheated, no way am I forgiving him for that!

“Jenna, please, be careful ok? With Balto no longer protecting you, you’ll need to find a refuge somewhere, and warning, stay away from Steele, he’s only trouble ok?”

I nodded, Steele was doing this? Just to get to me! He has gone to far this time, I’m going to find him and give him a lesson!

“Thank you Frost, you’re a good wolf.” He only smiled,

“You’re not the first to tell me Jenna, you’re not the first.” I watched him walk away back into the great and beautiful forest.

“Now, for Steele!” I began walking around town in search of Steele, Not listening to Frost advice I end up in deeper than ever. Eventually I walked around in the town I finally ran into Steele. He gave me the same sweet look and tried to charm me once again! But instead of falling for it and being friendly back, I growled at him and got mad.

“Steele! You are a liar; you tricked me into leaving Balto!” I did the only thing I could think off! Raising my paw I smacked his across the face, and it hurt him alright! And he showed it.

“Why you little-“ I smacked him again before he said anything. He growled at me furiously and I gave a smirk.

“You’re going to regret that!” He yelled, I just laughed lightly

“The only thing I regret Steele, is believing a pathetic dog like you! And wasting my time thinking you changed!” I walked away, but didn’t get far. He snarled furiously and leaped at me, getting me from behind and knocking me down,

“Why you-“ This time, he slapped me! And it felt terrible! And whined and held my paw to my muzzle, rubbing it.

“How does it feel Jen?” He said only making me mad,

“Only Balto call’s me Jen!” I leaped up at him but he easily took me down using his strength, you think you can beat me you little-“ I once again smacked him before he said anything.

“THAT’S IT! It’s time I teach you who owns you!” I gasped, my eye’s open in shock,

“You wouldn’t dare!”

“I would! Jen, and I will!” He then grabbed me painfully behind my neck, dragging me on the ground, I struggled but had no success. I screamed for help but no one came, the worst was about to happen! And when I believed all was lost, he came! A shadow attacked Steele and immediately got him away from me, the moment I was free I ran and hid. When I saw who it was, I was amazed, the wolf Blackheart! He came to my rescue once again and helped me, in a short time he had Steele down for the count! I happily ran over to him yipping happily and hugged him,

“Thank you Blackheart!” He smiled and gave me a hug in Return.

“It was my pleasure Jenna.” I only gave him a smile and shyly said,

“Call me Jen.” Immediately I felt his heart rate increase, did he like me? Or love me?

“Is your heart racing because of me?” I asked,

“Well, yea, nobody had ever said anything like that to me before, especially someone as beautiful as you.” I gasped,

“You think I’m beautiful?”

“Who wouldn’t?” Wow, he was much sweeter than I knew. I don’t believe I’m about to say this, but I actually like this guy! Thank you Frost for warning me about Steele!

At that moment I looked down at her, I knew she liked me and I began and scream in happiness deep down, Frost was wrong! I could have her and she was mine! Now nothing stood in my way.

“You want to go rest? You look tired.” I said to her, hoping she’d say what I wanted,

“I do?” She asked me looking at herself, I took that moment to gaze at her beauty, when she looked back I tried to act innocent.

“Well you must be, because you’ve been running through my mind all day!” She gave a smile and laughed,

“Are you making a move on me?” She asked gracefully

“Maybe.” I acted innocent and stared at her body again, this time, she caught me!

“Hey! Are you checking me out?” She wagged her tail smiling, I just nodded.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have.” She put a paw to my mouth and gave a girly giggle,

“It’s alright.” She walked a bit a ways and posed for me, showing off, “You can check me out when ever you want!” my mouth just dropped, She was Perfect!

“I was wrong, you’re not beautiful!” When I said that she stopped smiling and her ears weren’t perked anymore.

“I’m not?” She asked sadly,

“Nope! You’re gorgeous!” I said and immediately she was exited again.

“Aw! You’re so sweet!” she said, man, she was acting like she was a teenager! All the better for me I guess! Man, This is just to good!
