In a wild forest in Canada a wolfpack was living off the land.Gwen was lost in her thoughts. Ever since they were pups Kuro always treated her like dirt. Gwen was one of the best hunters in the pack! She had a sapphire blue fur. The pack accept almost all huskies or wolves. 

Her parents were abandend huskeys. They didnt realize she was a wolf until she a year old then her physical traits started to make her stand out from her brother Duncan, who looked like a normal husky with his gold fur like his parents.   

 Since Gwen was all wolf from her grandma, in her father eyes was a discrace to the family, her father practicly ignored her and paid more attention to Duncan because he was weak when he was born. Nearly died! He walked and trained with Duncan untill his strong enough to go on his own.

Her mother tried her best to raise Gwen. Hurt by her father she felt the need to train in order to make him see her. Duncan wasn't spoiled his father. He was teased from the other wolves in the pack because he wasn't strong.

Gwen wounld try to pick a fight if someone dared to make fun of him! She would get into fights often. Her really didn't like that so it made his attitude towards her worse, but Duncan was her best friend dispite how they were raised.

 Kuro was born from a pure wolf  family which makes him more serious about his role in the pack. He barely takes breaks. If possible he could be the leader of the clan but he kind of like the understudy because they already have a second in command.

 Not only was he a good soilder he is quite handsome! His black shining coat, dark purple eyes, and his 'I don't care' atitude has atracted alot of females, but of course he couldn't care less. The child of leader,Carmen,who had pure velvet fur,had the biggest crush on him.   

 Every time he saw Gwen he either scoffs or completely brush her aside. After she mostly hangs out with her brother since both parents were dead from human hunters.The females don't favor her much as a friend either and the boys were mostly scared of her.

 One day in the fall Gwen went by the river for a swim." Ah. This is just I need after the hunt." she said. The she felt something in the water. She jumped out of the water and started to growl. 

Then Duncan came out! He laughed at his prank. "Ha! HA! HA!HA! You should of seen your face!" he shouted "GRRRR! DUNCAN!!" she shouted as she started to walk away. "Oh no you don't!"  he said as he tackled his sister to the ground. A moment later Kuro came by and said "Stop clowning around you pups and get back to work!"

Gwen was about to explode! "Why you always have to be so serious? Get a life man!! Get a date or something!!" she said. Kuro stared at her for a long time then he left.

 "Why do you always have to argue with him?" said Duncan. "He needs to stop butting in when people having fun! He's so stiff!" Gwen said back.

When they got back something was wrong! The leader and second in command was missing! Since Kuro was the understudy he was ordered to find them. Some of the pack stayed in the land some went to help.

 Gwen was starting to get lost while looking. She ran until she came across a meadow it was beutiful! The grains was silver in the moonlight. The stars reflected on the river. The trees relaxed as the wind gently bushed against the branches.

 "I can't go back know.I guess I'll  go back in the morning" she thought as she took shelter under a oak tree and fell asleep.

  Half of the pack was still looking. Kuro look around then he caught the alpha's sent . He followed it to a river. Then he saw the alpha and the other fighting each other! He ran towards them but the fight was over! The alpha killed the other then looked at Kuro.

 "Kuro! help me back to the pack. Hurry!" he demanded. Kuro did what  was told and carried him back home. As soon as they got back he howled for every one to come back. Everyone howled together when they saw the alpha back. 

 The alpha said "Since you were there to help me back it is only fair to make you my second in command Kuro!" Kuro lowered his head and said "I accept leader." He nodded and said It is getting colder we need to move to more southern land!" They all agreed.

 Duncan ran to Kuro and asked" Where's Gwen?" Kuro looked around and didn't see her! "I thought she was with you!" Kuro said. Duncan shook his head.

 Kuro ran to the leader and said "One of our hunters is not here! We need to-" "No! One wolf is not worth the hole pack dieng for!" Kuro was shocked! "We risked our lives to find you! At least let me try to find her!"

 The leader started to laugh! "Calm down! It was just a test to make sure you can handle the job. You're right! We don't leave anyone behind!She couldn't gone far. If you don't come back soon we'll send someone out for you but hurry."he said.

 Kuro nodded and started to leave untill Ducan said "Let me come with you!She's the only one I got!" Kuro paused." Don't wory I'll get your sister back I promise. You're needed here for the pack." he said. Duncan knew he was right." Just get her back alive!" he said. Kuro nodded and left without a trace.

An hour later Gwen was woken by a twig snapping behind her. She bared her teeth and started to growl."Who's there? Come out of there now!" she shouted.

  Then like a flash a huge black blur pounce on her. She tried to bite but it was too fast. The huge wolf chased her to a dry riverbed and cornered her. She jumped and amimed for the neck but the wolf step to side and pinned her down to the ground.

 The wolf said" You still can't defeat me can you?" Only one person talks like that."Kuro?!" she shouted. He chuckled at her."I knew you weren't smart enough to find your way back!" he teased her.

 Gwen Growled and kicked him off of her and tackled him to the ground. "Why are you here?"she asked. "To find you! You never came back." he responded. "I thought I get even more lost if I kept going." said Gwen.

She stared at him for a while then She got off of him. He got up and thought "I wonder....Huh this could tick her off" He started to walk to her and backed her to the wall. She asked "WWhat...What aare you doing?!" he got closer to her and smiled.

 He made sure that she was watching. He swirls his tail around  her and pulled her to him. He nuzzled her and licked her cheek. Since she didn't like thee way he stared at her he put his face to the point were he was the only thing she'll see.   

 Her heart started poinding for some reason. She tried to look away but his eyes catured her! She felt his tail squesing her a little still pulling her towards him.

 She shook her head."Why am I feeling this way? Aren't we..doesn't he hate me? And Why doesn't feel good how he holds me?"

 Kuro was confused. Was she enjoying this? It was suppose to be a test or a prank. Was he enjoying it too? Her soft fur against his rough spiked fur kind of felt..good. Her face was in a trance. He finally said "Close your eyes." She did it. And she felt warm lips against hers. He broke the kiss and thought"Wow! that felt ..Good"

 Gwen's mind was in the clouds and her body felt like it was in heaven. Kuro loosen his grip on her to see if she wanted to go but she didn't move. As if she wanted to. She kissed him on the cheek for the kiss he gave to her.

 He layed beside her and kept kissing her. For some reason he couldn't stop unless he was tired. Gwen felt his warm kisses but started to talk."Why Kuro?Why are you-" trying to catch her breath.

 He didn't answer. He only closed the gap between the two."DDDon't you hate me?" she asked. Still he said nothing as he went for another kiss.

 Then a voice called out. "GWEN!!! YOU HERE??!?" It was Duncan! Kuro's  head perked up. "He did say someone will look for me if I took too long" he thought. "Come on! Lets go home." he said to her.

 They got up and went with a few wolves to the pack. Duncan was sooo releived that Gwen was back. Gwen told him that nothing could separate them or their friendship.

 All the way home Gwen couldn't stop looking at Kuro."Was he beig serious? Did he really just made out with me?"she thought.

She started to think there was more to him than she thought when they were pup sand mabey to herself as well.
