RAIN!Zasha, a black wolf with white paws,tip of tail under belly,throught,and muzzel,exept a thick line of black on top of her muzzel and a white spot above each of her brown eyes, ran throught the forest looking for shelter.The rain was slowly turning into a storm.She squented her eyes,as the rain pounded upon her.She saw a shelter,a cave!She ran to the rim of the cave and looked inside."It dosen't apear to look like someone lives her."She said and walked in.She walked slowly into the cave looking at everything she passed.At the back of the cave was piles of straw.She lied down in them.They were dry and warm.It felt alot better than the rain.She soon fell into a light sleep.

     MEANWHILE:"NOOOOO!Not rain!not now!"Shade,a dark yellow wolf with black around his eyes and a scar on on of them with  bangs yelled as he ran throught the forest.He was miles away from his small den and a shelter was no where in sight,He ran deeper into the forest.His bangs luckaly keept the rain away from his eyes.Then he saw it!The cave!He ran into the cave.He shook as much of the rain off as he could.Lighting struk outside.Shade jumped."I wasn't thinking,What if somone lives here!"Shade said to himself.He started walking out of the cave until thunder boomed louder than ever!"Bad idea!"Shade told himself.He looked deeper into the cave.It was pitch black."IF no one lives here"He though"I could stay."

    Thunder boomed loudly.Zasha bolted from her sleep.She sniffed the air."Someones here!"She said to her self.She got up.Slowly she walked into the front of the cave.Spiders and rats ran all through the cave.Then  ocationly a bat would fly above her.She wasn't scared.To her,It was beautiful.She stepped on a twig and it snapped.an echo ran trough the cave.

   "What was that!"Shade said.He looked back into the the darkness of the cave.He started walking farther back into it,looking back behind him.Zasha was doing the same thing.He diddn't veary far,when he bumped into somthing solf.Shade turned to see a beautiful female wolf.Zasha looked at him and backed up a little.She sat down and hade a confuesed look on her face, and looked at him.Shade stared at her.Then he remembered that this must be her home and he was tresspassing."OH..Uh...you must live here....I'm sorry...I thought it was abandoned."He said with a sad look on his face.His ears flatted down."NO I don't live hear,I'm staying the night."Zasha said."Well,........I quess I should be leaving."He said he started moving to the opening."WAIT!"Zasha blocked the exit."You can stay."She said blushing.

  She lead him into the back of the cave."I found some straw back here."She said to him.She parted the straw into two beds.He looked at them then looked back at her.She nodded her head and walked slowly into the bed of straw.he lied down.She crawled into the bed beside his and crossed her front legs and laid her head down.They fell into a deep sleep.

   the next morning,it stopped raining.Shade woke up and found meat in front of him.HE ate it and walked outside.He saw Zasha sitting on a hill looking down at a lake.he walked up and sat beside her.There was a gentel breeze."I qeuss i need to leave now,"he said looking at her."no,please stay with me."She looked at him as a breeze blew through her fur."I will."He said she nuzzeled him and ran down the hill into the shallow lake.He folwed her down and they splashed around.Later Zasha was tiered of playing in the water so she sat along the bank.Shade came up and sat beside her.

   The sun started to set beyond the horisin.They watched the sun go down.Zasha got up."I Never Did learn your name."Zasha said as she looked at him."I'm Shade , Who are you?"He said."I'm zasha."She said."Come on,we better be getting back home."Zasha said."Home?"Shade said getting up."Yes home."Zasha giggeld.Shade looked byeond into the wilderness."I have a home now."He thought.

   The next mornig,food was beside his bed again.He ate it and walked back outside.He saw Zasha with a nother female wolf."Hello,who are you?"She asked.she was yellow,with black paws,tip of tail, blue eyes,and a black ear that was floped over."Uh.....Shade." He answered."Well nice to meet you uh....shade."She said laughting."Shade This is my best friend,angel."Zasha said."Well,I better get going,I have to go get breakfast."She said and raced off.

  " I've known her since I was a Pup."Zasha said."At least you know SOMEONE!"Shade said sadly."I've been Chased by a deamon my hole life and I don't know anyone."He said."I still like you."Zasha said.Shade was shocked.Every one he told his story to they etheir ran off or made him leave. He was right were he needed to be...home.

AUTHORS NOTE:Zasha and shade are my first fan characters.I know its a little mushy but I had to tell you how they met.I hoped you liked it.This story is leading up to a better one so be glad you read it.They are both a year old and zasha has a story about her life as puppy if you interested.
