of lionesses, “Well what do we have here?” she said to herself she walked up to them, “What are you doing out here without a leader?” the group looked up and gasped, “We know who you are, your Woga,” “Heh really now, do you fear me like everyone else?” “No not at all we want to join you, we’ve been hearing rumors about you, and we wanted to make sure you were real, and now that we found you, we want to join you so you can lead us,” “Hu, really? Well I suppose you can, we will kill all those that shunned me, are you with me,” Woga said calmly, the lionesses around her roared in agreement, “So tell me what pride were you from,” Woga asked one of them, “We were from Viza’s pride, but she was killed by Nyota in pure rage, we wanted to kill him but then we heard that he was kill by a rouge lion named Kucha,” “Well then you should thank him, because I’m his great, great,  granddaughter, I wanted that bitch Namna dead when I heard that she killed him, but to my dismay she died of a broken heart, died in her sleep, now what I want, is the death of the daughter of Namna, we first kill all the one’s in my old pride that betrayed me, now follow me,” Woga laughed evilly.

Back at Pride Rock Tunaini was giving birth, to her cub, after fifteen minutes of being in labor she gave birth, Ondoka carried her to Tunaini, “So what are we going to name it love?” “I was thinking since she is furry and soft, so I want to call her Anana,” “What a name so fair o it’s likeness, in love of what to see a new born for all to see, to be a new friend to all,” “I’m sure she’ll love your poetry honey,” Ondoka smiled and nuzzled Tunaini, “She is beautiful Tunaini, maybe when our cubs grow up they’ll be great friends,” “I sure do hope so,” and with that Ushindi and Heri said good-bye and carried their cubs back to their den and settled down for a nap, and Heri cleared her throat to get ready for her cubs lullaby, “Come stop your crying it will be alright, just take my paw hold it tight I will protect you from all around you, I will be here don’t you cry, for one so small you seem so strong, My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm this bond between us, can’t be broken I will be here don’t you cry cause you’ll be in my heart, yes you’ll be in my heart, From this day on, now and forever more, You’ll be in my heart, no matter what they say, you’ll be in my heart, always. Why can’t they understand the way we feel? They just don’t trust what they can’t explain I know we’re different but, deep inside us we’re not that different at all. And you’ll be in my heart, yes you’ll be in my heart, From this day on now and forever more, Don’t listen to them ‘Cause what do they know we need each other, to have, to hold they’ll see in time I see in time I know when destiny calls you, you must be strong, I may not be with you but you’ve got to hold on they’ll see in time I know we’ll show them together, ‘Cause you’ll be in my heart, Yes you’ll be in my heart, From this day on, Now and forever more, Oh, you’ll be in my heart, No matter what they say, You’ll be in my heart, Always,” then the cubs yawned big and fell asleep, “They are so precious, I can’t believe we brought them into this world,” “You mean you brought them into this world,” “Yeah but I don’t deserve all of the credit, you helped you know,” “Yeah well since the cubs are in your paws you might as well sleep too,” “Yeah I guess you’re right,” and with that Heri fell asleep.

CHAPTER 12 PLAYFUL CUBS A MONTH LATER

“Namna come here please,” Heri said softly, Namna then came to Heri’s side, “Yes mamma?” “There is something I have to tell you,” “Ok,”  “Sit down her next to me,” Namna did as she was told, “Did I tell you the story of my mother?” “No, are you going to tell me the story?” she asked with excitement, “Yes I am, about my family, ok, your aunt Namna she was a rouge when you uncle met each other, their love was so great that nothing could break them up, so here is the full length of the story, Namna was walking sitting alone after she made a kill, she then saw in the distance, a lion, with scars on his face, she saw something in him that made sparks fly in her, she then built up all the her courage, and walked up to him, he was so surprised that he saw a beautiful lioness in his life, they stayed with each other until they had my brother, but he died a few days later by a lion named Kucha. That’s when we and the jackal’s hated each other we all blamed Ema for his death because she left Namna and Nyota, but then they found out she left because they would kill our whole pride if she didn’t, but then I was born a few months later I was born. then a big battle happened, your uncle was killed by Kucha, and your aunt fought Kucha killing him with a bite to the neck, then I heard a roar of sorrow as I was leading the jackal pack and the pride back to Pride Rock, I turned around and saw her walking slowly back with swelled up eyes, she then told me he didn’t make it, I was so sad that I lost my dad, but I felt more sad for my mom because she lost the only lion that meant the world to her, so after a few days she wanted to leave and die in her jungle, I went with her she then sang me her lullaby, which I sin to you and your brother every night. After a few more day’s I woke up and nudged her to wake up she didn’t move, I nudged her again, still no movement, then I realized she was dead, I then left, saw Ema, and lived for a few months then came went back to see Ema with Tunaini, that’s when I meet your father, then we were inseparable like my parents then we went behind Siri’s and Moyo’s back. I don’t want you to do that with another lion until you’re my age, and that goes for your brother too, but what I’m getting at is that you were named after my mother, because I loved her so much, and she was loved by everyone here, I wanted her name to live on, you have her blood in you, so your name is special to me,” “Wow, I’m sorry about your mom, I never knew that she was that special,” “Well she was, in many ways, now go on and play I’ll call you and your brother when it’s time to eat,” Namna nodded and ran off, as Heri watched she couldn’t help but put on a smile, ‘She is so playful she almost has the same features as you mom, caring, helpful, and lovable,’ she then let out a sigh, ‘If only were here then you could have had some fun with them,’ Heri then got up and walked to Ushindi, “Shindi?” “Yes?” “I was wondering if you’d like to go to the water hole with me,” Ushindi then looked up at his mate, “Of course, I wouldn’t want you to be alone out there by your lonesome,” “Thanks,” Ushindi got up and walked by Heri’s side.

Woga and her group were walking through her old pride’s home to see that some of the lionesses had stayed and that they got a new king and queen, when they looked at Woga they gasped, “No, she’s back,” one said quietly, “What are you doing back here?” “Heh, why I’m here for revenge, Hehehehehe, I remember perfectly, I remember that some of you shunned me cast me aside, you all hated me for all the wrong reasons, and why was that? Because of the way I look, I have evil in me, I didn’t then now I do,” she then looked at two of her group members, “Kill the king and queen, the rest of you helps me kill these heathens, for what they did to me, leave none alive,” then the battle begun, Woga took on three, while the others took on the rest.

At the water hole Ushindi pushed Heri into the water, when Heri resurfaced she started to laugh and the climbed out and tackled Ushindi, getting him wet, they both laughed, and then began to kiss, “I love you so much, I don’t want you to leave me,” Heri said, “I will never, leave your side, I won’t leave you no matter what,” they both then heard something, “What’s that?” “I don’t know,” of course they knew that it was their two cubs, “Well then I guess we better get going,” Heri said getting up then ducked as soon as a figure jumped out from behind her, “Nice try Furhaia, you gotta try better than that,” she then nuzzled his head, just then Namna jumped out and landed on Ushindi’s head, “Gotcha,” she said, Ushindi pretended to fall be the force of his daughter, “Yes you got me come on time for a little pay back,” he chuckled while giving her a little noogie, “Hehe, what are you two up to?” “Oh nothing we were just playing,” “Really? Where’s Anana?” “She’s coming,” just then another figure jumped out of nowhere and landed on Heri’s back, “Here she is,” Heri chuckled softly, “Ok then I know how to get a cub off,” she started to walk towards the water, “Ummm, Aunt Heri, what are you doing?” “You’ll find out,” just then Heri jumped into the water, Anana gave a little shriek, “That’s cold, very c-c-c-cold,” “Hehehe, you’ll get used to it, no that you’re in with me might as well have fun,” “Ok,” Anan tried to swim to Heri who was floating on her back,” then Anana climbed onto her stomach and they floated there for ten minutes before they got out. “Ok the four of you go back to Pride Rock, I’m going to get us a meal,” they all nodded and left, Heri shook off the water that still was on her fur, and she ran off to find prey.

There was blood everywhere bodies on the ground, as Woga stood over one she asked, “Why did all of you fear me? And give me a good reason,” She asked, “We feared you because you looked like Scar, Kucha, and Ubazai, the evil tyrants,” “Have you ever thought I wasn’t like them up until now, I was harmless, my real name was Furahi, then I got the nickname Woga because I looked like
