Part 3

Balto felt like his heart skipped a beat.Balto backed up "He...lied to me...and Jenna."

"Why do you sound suprised I saw it coming."

Balto looked at the wooden floor."...I thought I could trust him."Balto walked back up stairs.

"Dad..." Aleu fallowed Balto and blocked his path, " He's an idiot, Dad don't let his lies come as a suprise,...he just can't not have that in his life... OK ewwwwww." Aleu made a grossed out face.

Balto nodded"Thanks Ale..."Balto broke into coughs and fell to the ground.

"Dad!" Aleu put her head down, "Dad are you ok?"

Drops of blood driped out of Balto's mouth."I'm...fine..."Balto coughed some more.

"Dad don't lie to me,are you ok?*sigh* Dad You can't say that you're fine, thats blood." 

Balto looked at Aleu "I'm fin..."Balto coughed one more time,this time alot more blood came out.

"Dammit Dad whats happening!" Aleu had worriedness in her voice."Dad!"

Balto forced himself up "Lets go...to sleep."Balto passed Aleu and continued walking.

Aleu looked at her paws they were stained with blood, "Dammit, whats wrong with him?" Aleu left the ship to clean off in the ocean.

Balto fell asleep fast and began to have a nightmare.Balto felt cold concrete, Balto got up and turned around.A tall man stood in front of Balto"You should run."Whispered the tall dark figure.

"From what?"Balto said with an eye brow up.

"Me."The man let his left hand rise and a scyth appeard in it.

Balto's eyes widened,Balto turned around and started to run.The ground under him crumbled,Balto grabed the edge and looked up and saw Jenna,Aleu,Kodi,and Killy.Killy walked over to Balto and crushed his paws.Balto yelled in pain and fell into a pit of darkness.

Balto woke up screaming.

Jenna shot up, "Whats happening?!"Jenna turned to Balto "Balto whats wrong?"

Balto looked over at Jenna "Sorry."

"What happened though?"

"Just a nightmare,thats all."

"Oh" Jenna snuggled closer to Balto,"At least it was only a dream."

Balto nodded"Is Kodi up yet?"

"I don't know,you should go check on him."Jenna was resting on Balto's sholder.

"Ok."Balto got up and walked to Kodi's room.

"...Kodi are you awake."Balto said standing at his door.

"Ya Dad so how did you sleep?"Kodi stood up and walked over to Balto.

"Fine."Balto rubbed against Kodi,Balto sniffed Kodi,Balto felt like he was going to faint.Balto noticed Killy behind Kodi,Balto's front paws got pain in them."Well see you on deck."

"Dad why did you sniff me?"Kodi started to feel like Balto knew what he did that night.

"Sniff you I was just...um...breathing,see you later."Balto ran back up stairs.

"Shit, Killy I think he knows about last night."Kodi sighed

Aleu was still trying to get the blood off of her fur,"Damn its all ready morning and this blood is still on me."Aleu turned around and noticed Balto on the ship,"HAY! GOOD MORNING DAD!"

"MORNING ALEU"Balto shouted back.

Aleu smiled the started washing again.

While Kodi walked upstairs he noticed blood,"Dad whats blood doing on the floor?" Kodi turned to Balto and gave him a look of concern.

Balto looked over "What blood where...why is blood over there."Balto walked over.

"Dad I think you know what I'm talking about...I think." Kodi looked down at the blood again.

Balto shook his head and looked to the side"I dont know anything about that blood, and how it got there."

"Oh well ...so Dad what are we going to do today? Kodi tilted his head.

"I dont know, but tomorrow there is the Nome Festival...so we have something to do tomorrow."

"OK Dad" Kodi smiled.

Balto smiled,then got a look of pain.Balto started to cough and blood gushed out of his mouth.Balto fell to the ground,he was in so much pain tears fell from his eyes. "DAD!" Kodi felt helpless in front of his dad.

Aleu ran up to the boat "Dad!"Aleu ran behind Balto "Dad!"

Jenna woke up by the yelling ,Jenna ran upstairs "Whats going on?Oh my God BALTO!"

Balto passed out,his head fell on all the blood that came from him. Jenna looked at all of them "What...What happened?"Jenna started crying.

"DAD!DAD!" Kodi also started to cry. "Dad!"

Aleu couldn't help but cry" Dad!"

The next day Balto woke up and looked around.Balto noticed Jenna and Aleu next to him.Balto licked Jenna"Jenna what happend?"

"Balto thank God I...I didn't know what happened,Balto I love you." Jenna rubbed against Balto.

Alue woke up "Dad! Oh! Thank God!"Aleu rubbed against Balto.

"I'm hungry...wait todays the Festival we should go."Balto had a smile on his face.

"Ok Balto but take it easy." Jenna rubbed against Balto. Jenna and Alue stood up .

"Ok lets get Kodi and...Killy then lets go."Balto walked over to his open door,"I will get him."

Balto walked down to Kodi's room"Kodi come on were going to the Nome Festival."

"Dad I was crying all night thank God you're ok." Kodi rubbed against Balto.

Balto looked at Kodi's neck,"Is that a bow tie on your neck?"

"Uuuummmm....Ya I wanted to look formal ." Kodi smiled and rubbed against him again.

Balto felt pain in his heart ,"Ok lets go."

Balto walked up stairs with Kodi and Killy.Balto stoped and looked at Kodi"Kodi who washed my fur?"

"Mom did she stayed awake for hours cleaning your fur Aleu helped."

Balto nodded,"Jenna,Aleu I got Kodi and...Killy.Are you ready to go?"

Jenna and Aleu came up "were ready Dad."Aleu smiled. Jenna walked over to Balto and rubbed against him.

"I love you Jenna."Balto rubbed against Jenna."Lets get going."

They all got off the boat and walked to Nome.
