This was...interesting. Heh heh. I enjoyed many elements of it...I
just didn't much care for Aniu being able to actually draw the life
from Balto in order to take him into the afterlife (hope that wasn't a
spoiler for anyone reading this, or intending to read the story!).

Still, you have a good working foundation here for its
follow-up. Nice!
