Around Me There Is Peace…

I feel no hatred or anger

All I feel is peace

The calm clean air sooths me

While the grass smoothes my fur

I know nothing of the wrong doings that happen in the world

For I do not wish to know

I do not wish to feel hatred towards those I do not know

Nor do I wish to blame another for something that is none of my concern

I’ve known only peace with the land and elements

True, the earth does destroy from time to time

But it is how nature behaves

One time it can be peaceful another time it can be violent

None should try to harness its power

None should try to undo what is done

What has been done has been done

Undoing it may release something even more destructive

I am a wolf

One who is loyal to Nature alone

Though I do know of the race who has killed my kin

I hold no grudge not do I show fear

Hatred is the betrayer

Anger is the fawn

Death usually follows in the sire’s and progeny’s shadow

Misfortune, retaliations, and despair will only be the product of such actions     

Though a wolf

I know more then those who have turned to violence as a solution for everything

I know of a world where all live together

There is no war and no suffering

There is only peace

The world goes on

Predator feeds off prey

The earth feeds off those who have passed on to help the next generations

The earth must live on…

But it the choice of others that decides the world’s…
