Gentle is your fur

As soft as a gentle breeze
You nuzzle me
As the trees sway with the wind

We speak the other’s name
Through the crashing sea
The thunder of the storm

We alone hear the other

I see your face
In the setting sun
And once again
My heart has won

Your evidence
In the vast expanse
Of sea and of the sky
The endless dance

Of a love surpassing
Space and time
A lover’s heart
Embraces mine
