Bullseye and Clayton (c) me
Mimi (c) Saba~Wind
Just wanted to give a special thanks to Saba~wind for giving Bullseye a loving mate!:D Thanks hun!
Bullseye couldn't believe his eyes. A beautiful female malamute trotted right by him. Was it a dream? He had never felt this way before, not once. He had dated some pretty nice girls in the past but he never felt a connection to any of them. Bullseye stood blushing as he watched the female trot away.
Clayton, one of his team mates, noticed Bullseye and ran over to him.
"Looks like you've never seen a girl before, bud." He said giving him a teasing look.
Bullseye blushed and shook his head. "Ya, I've never seen anything like her before."
Clayton smirked and said, "You should go talk to her! I mean, its not like she'll diss you or anything. Besides, shes only a stray. They will do anything for attention, if you know what I mean."
Bullseye couldn't stand how badly Clayton spoke of others, especialy females. If he wasn't so cocky and hard-headed maybe he would notice that not everyone has it as good as him. At times Bullseye wished he wasn't even related to him and he wouldn't have to show kindness to him just because he was his older brother's son.
"I don't care that shes a stray. It wouldn't matter to me even if she was a mutt!" Bullseye growled, leaving Clayton to ponder at his bold words.
He didn't care what anybody thought, just wanted to talk to her. He took a deep breath and ran up to her.
"Hey there." Bullseye said, clearing his throat. The little female stopped and turned around, greeting him with a smile.
"Hi." She said sweetly, stopping for a moment. Bullseye's heart started to melt as he tried to find words to say.
"I..I'm Bullseye and you are?" he asked, thinking he might break down any minute.
"Oh, I'm Mimi." the she-dog said with a giggle.
Mimi, what a lovely name! Bullseye thought to himself. "Sooo....Mimi, I was wondering if you would like to-" His words were cut off by a loud snicker. He turned around to see Clayton smirking.
"Well, well, well. Bullseye, I'm surprised at you. Asking a stray out. I guess as long as you have your fun it doesn't matter what she is, right? " He said, licking his chops.
Bullseye growled at Clayton. He couldn't take it any longer. He was going to teach him a thing or two. Suddenly a black blur tackled the golden dog to the ground before him. Bullseye looked up to see it was Mimi.
"Hey, you listen here! Just because I'm a stray doesn't mean I can be pushed around by you high-classed-sled-dogs! You got that!" Mimi snarled, getting into Clayton's face. He nodded his head and high-tailed-it-away, ashamed of being pinned to the ground by a girl.
Mimi picked herself up and without another word ran off towards the boiler room, tears streaming down her face.
"Mimi wait!!" Called Bullseye as he quickly chased after Mimi, wanting desperatly to talk to her.
"Are you okay?" He asked, entering the room. He found her laying on the floor crying hard. Her small body heaving with ever sob.
"Don't listen to him," Bullseye said soothingly, "He just likes to put other down." He took a seat by Mimi and put a paw on her head, stroking her tenderly.
Mimi sat up and smiled weakly. " Its not that.....its just.....I'm sick and tired of everyone treating me like trash just 'cuz I don't have a home," She sighed. "I'm begining to believe that I'm never going to find someone who love me."
Bullseye's heart skipped a beat. He loved her. He wanted so badly to tell her that. Love had never come his way before and this was his first taste of it. He liked it. Bullseye took a deep breath and moved a bit closer to Mimi.
"Well I believe that things are going to change for you..." Bullseye said, putting his arm around Mimi and pulling her close to his chest. " because I love you."
Mimi's eye sparkled as she snuggled deeply into Bullseye's fur. "No one has ever said that to me.." she whispered. "I love you too."
Mimi secretly wept with joy. All her life she has been abused by every single male she met. Bullseye was so kind and understanding. She wanted to be his mate, she wanted to start a family with him and grow old with him. She loved him.
Bullseye layed down of the floor with Mimi cuddled up beside him. He licked her head passonitly. Mimi giggled licking him back playfully. The two happliy enjoyed each other highly unaware of the pair of angery blue eyes looking through the window.
The angery blue eyes belonged to Clayton. The golden dog growled with frustration.
"Darn you Bullseye!" He barked, sending a near by bird flying away.
"Why must you always have it your way, you'll be sorry."
Though Clayton already had a mate he couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of other girls and got very angery every time a favorite of his falls for another male.
"Mark my words, you will pay for this!" Clayton snarled peering into the window one last time.
"Blood with be shed..........."
He stormed off.
