The Top Of The Life

                          Part 2

Part 2 of Ashar's story.Ashar goes to dog fighting championship.There he meets husky named Kasha.But,after a terrible mistake,everything ends in other way.Will their friendship win?

Ashar was feeded by his owner.His owner whispered to Ashar's ear:

-Ashar...We're going to the dog fighthing championship tomorrow.I'm sure that you will win...

Ashar friendly winked to his owner and went outside,straight to Steele's house.He saw Steele,walking outside,with angry look on his face.

-Hey Steele!What's...?

He did not finished his sentence,cause Steele angrily looked at him.

-Who do you call a friend,Ashar?Me?!No...I'm not a friend to you.Do you think that you can lie to me without being noticed and then act as my friend?!No...

Ashar was really confused.

-But,what's wrong?

-Oh!You're asking what's wrong?!Okay,I'll tell you.Nikki arrived to my house before you.He told me that he was spying you and Jenna when you were in a Boiler Room last night.He heard what you said...That you want to move me out of your way...And,you know?I wasn't surprised.After all,you're such a Gloryhound...

-You're no less a gloryhound than me!Bye,FRIEND!-Ashar said and ran home,as fast as he can.While running,he saw Jenna.He one last time looked at her and said:

-You're so beautiful...But you're not for me...-and ran home.

Next day,Ashar woke up really early.His owner was already preparing for a trip.He washed Ashar,gave him food,and later they two went to the plane.Duke was here already.Ashar and his owner got into the plane,and flied away.

Ashar loved looking to the land from a plane.It was a wonderful feeling,at least for him.He secretly wished that he could have wings.

When they finally reached White Mountain,Ashar was surprised.He had never seen that much dogs and humans.

Ashar's owner took him into the big cage and went away.Ashar saw a lot more dogs here.All dogs angrily looked at him.They all knew him.He was their rival...

Only one female from them wasn't looking at him angrily.No,she was smiling.Ashar walked up to her:

-Hi...Why are you looking at me like that?

-Hello Ashar.Well,because every fighter has to admit his enemy's power before fight.

-Yeah,that's right.What's your name?

-I'm Kasha.I'm really new on fighting,but I'm doing pretty good already.

-Of course!Weak dogs are not allowed to go into championships!

-Yeah,you're right.So...I know that we will fight,but...wanna be friends?

-Of course I do!And,if we would fight,I'll let you win..

-Oh no...I'll let you win...

-Whatever!

Week passed.Ashar and Kasha became best friends.They often spend a whole day together.

And finally,the day for championship came.Ashar was the first to fight in it.

Ashar proudly walked into arena,full of people shouting.He smiled at them and became serious quickly.He knew that on championship he will get stronger enemy than he was used to fight with.It made him worry a little.

Finally he saw his enemy.Large,even larger than he fought before,rottweiler.He was really aggresive and strong,as Ashar seen.Ashar prepared for a good fight in his mind.

And fight started.Rottweiler was the first to attack.He ran to Ashar and quickly pinned him down.But Ashar rolled away and stood up behind Rottweiler.He attack Rottweiler's neck,and Rottweiler howled from pain.He got Ashar off of him and attacked his front leg,while Ashar attacked him with another leg.Both howled from pain.

Fight lasted for three,four hours.Ashar was lying on a ground,all drifted in blood.Rottweiler was standing,with blood running down his cheeks,and was about to kill Ashar.

Then Ashar moved his eyes away and saw something running straight to them.It was Kasha!

Kasha ran to them and jumped on a Rottweiler.He howled,and...ran away.She walked up to Ashar and smiled.Then whispered to his ear:

-C'mon Ashar...Everything's over...Stand up...

Ashar slowly stood up.His legs were shaking,blood dripping out of almost all his body.He smiled to her and said:

-Thanks Kasha...Without you I would've been died...

They both smiled and looked around.People were quiet.Later they started to shout.Ashar slowly went out of arena.

When he and Kasha went back to their cage,Ashar almost falled down to the ground.Kasha layed down next to him.

-Rest a bit,Ashar...It's okay...

Ashar closed his eyes,but quickly opened.He knew that he must say something to her.

-You know,Kasha...We're best friends,right?But,after what you've done to me now and all the time,I want to ask...Will you be my mate?I know that I love you.This feeling is new to me,but I know what I feel.I love you,Kasha,and I want to be with you.

Kasha smiled and lowered her eyes.Then looked to Ashar lovingly.

-I...want to be your mate.I love you too.

Kasha moved closer to him,and they kissed eachother.

1 year passed.Ashar and Kasha mated and had 4 pups:Kiso,Toraya,Asha and Boltaru.Soon pups were taken by other people,and Ashar and Kasha stayed without them,just together,one more time.

Ashar liked to remember those days when he was friends with Steele and others,when he was attached to Jenna,but,now she had a better life,and he did not wanted it end.
