Glacier breathed hard as he had reached his goal. The hybrid lowered his head before he sat. He finally made it to White Mountain. There he wouldn't be tempted by Cash or so he thought. The late winter breeze brought the scents of town to him. His nose searched each one before he started to look for a place to stay on the outskirts of town. Glacier watched everyone that was out that day from a safe distance. He knew he should be in the wild but his mother's blood kept him in with civilization. He growled as now he didn't just look like his father, he was his father.
His long legs carried him easily now that he wasn't in such deep snow. Glacier lifted his noble, wolf like head as he sniffed around again. A familiar scent drifted to his nose but he couldn't quite place its bitter scent. He moved on as dusk was starting to fall. The hybrid stopped as his eyes picked out the sight of the boiler room. He shoved his muzzle into the small crack between the door and the wall. As the door opened enough where his slim body could slip through, his senses told him he wasn't the only canine there. As he looked around, a yell and he was on the ground. He quickly stood and wheeled around to face his threat. He snarled but stopped as an elder husky stood before him just as alert.
"Who are you?" the red husky snarled. Even though smaller by height he was a bit more muscular. Glacier searched his opponet for anything. For one thing, the husky was more surprised than angry. Also he didn't have an owner just like Glacier.
"I'm Glacier. And who are you?" he snarled back.
"The name's Bernie." he answered. He resumed a calm state as he watched the younger canine for any sign.
"So you live here alone?" Glacier spoke as he still stayed in his defense position. Bernie chuckled.
"Yes and may I ask where you're from?" Bernie asked as he walked slowly to the boiler and sat.
"Nome hoping to get away from someone." Glacier replied as he sat beside the older dog. He then realized that Bernie only had three legs. His left front leg was missing just below the shoulder. Glacier cocked his head.
Bernie nodded to show he understood. He wasn't going to question as it wasn't his life to worry about. But he did have to wonder if Glacier did have a home. "You got a home?" Glacier shook his head no. "You can stay here kid." Glacier smiled. Bernie noticed the expression of Glacier. Bernie lowered his head to look at his missing leg. "Accident." he spoke lowly before he lowered his head. Glacier could tell from his voice it was something he wanted to forget.
"Now let's get some sleep as you're going to need to be bright tomorrow." Glacier sighed as he lowered himself to the ground and closed his eyes.

Glacier and Bernie walked the streets as Bernie told him about White Mountain. Glacier was still shocked how Bernie could get around so well on his three legs. "Oh and kid you better watch out for the gangs." But Glacier wasn't paying attention. His eyes focused on a dark brown she-dog. Bernie followed his eyes to find the same canine. "I wouldn't tangle with her." Bernie spoke sharply.
"Why?" Glacier didn't look at him as he asked. Suddenly, a black and white husky appeared and touched noses with the dark brown and white female.
"She's taken by Brock. He's a member of the Stone Howl Gang. They're the second most powerful gang." Bernie replied.
Glacier sighed. "Then who's the most powerful?" This time he turned his head to face the older dog as the husky female looked up to see Glacier watching her. He quickly turned his back to her.
"The Blood Claw. They rule the streets at night when the humans are sleeping. Bruiser's the leader of the gang. He's a tough one to beat. so I wouldn't suggest trying to defeat him until you got some training under your collar." Bernie spoke before he sat and scratched his left ear with a hind leg. Glacier thought about it for a bit before they walked the rest of the small town.
"Hey Bernie who's the Stone Howl leader?" Glacier asked as he shorten his stride so the three-legged dog kept up.
"Some new dog that speaks that he was meant to be leader. The Stone Howl gang isn't known to be bright so they played into his paws." Bernie answered.
"Where can I find this gang's...territory?" Glacier asked.
"They own the east side of town. I would keep alert as they don't take to strangers quickly." Bernie replied before he turned to the boiler shed. "I got to rest. See ya later Glacier."
Gacier watched the elder dog move away before he headed to the east side of town.

As Glacier kept alert as he walked slowly around the Stone Howl Gang territory. A few minutes ago a pair of thick coated mutts growled at him but he shrugged it off. Probably to go off and tell their new leader about him. "You new here?" Glacier spun around to see her again. The dark brown husky walked toward him with her tailk slightly curled, her ears perked forward, and her eyes curious.
"Yeah I'm new here." Glacier tried to keep his cool but his heart was pumping faster with each second.
"I saw you glancing at me earlier today." She giggled as Glacier's cheek blushed bright red.
"I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to stare." Glacier grinned sheepish and the husky giggled again.
"You got a name?" Her hazel eyes blinked and she trotted closer.
"Glacier. You?" He responded.
"Savanna."
"Well look who we have here." a voice spoke behind Glacier. Glacier wheeled around to see who he thought would never see again. There before him stood Cash with the two mix breeds behind him. As well as Brock. Brock's hackles rose and a lip drew back. "You best come over here Savanna." Cash spoke with venom ease. Savanna walked past Glacier and gave him a short, confused look. Brock stepped quickly infront of Savanna as she reached the small pack.
Glacier growled. Cash chuckled. "Well Glacier I'm actually surprised more than angry about you being in my territory." A shockwave rushed through Glacier's body.
"So you must be the leader of Stone Howl?" Cash nodded to agree. Glacier's mind was ready to flip the switch to become a killer in a frenzy.
Cash chuckled. "You want to join my crew?" He grinned and Glacier put his ears back and showed more of teeth. The chestnut/light tan husky expression became a disgusted look as he wasn't going to be able to control his enemy.
Glacier then rose his head a little higher and started to walk past the small group with a somewhat gentleman air but full of pride. "If you want to fight then face me!" Cash snarled loudly.
Glacier looked at him and gave a chuckle. "You might want to tell your friends not to be around so you won't humiliate yourself about losing." Cash gave a surprised look and Glacier chuckled again before he trotted back to his home.
When he got into the boiler shed he snarled loudly out in anger. Bernie watched as Glacier stomped around and waited for his steam to thin. Glacier knew he had to keep himself from now on, away from the east side of town. He was furious that Cash was here and what was more that the little wuss was a leader. He wanted badly to beat the daylights out of him. "Hello again." His father's face appeared in his mind. The blood thirsty wolf was cruel when it came to fighting and was quite clever when it came to verbal spats. The wolf howl rang in his mind.
