" Pick up the pace you lazy mutts!!!" howled Steele. " We're trying Steele!" said Arcanine and Kaya. Soon the race was over. Steele and his sled team had lost. Steele was furious at Kaya and Arcanine. "Why didn't you two mutts run faster!?" Steele growled. " AGHHHHH!!!! you are always pushing us too hard!!!!" said Kaya. "Yah and we quit and leaving to start our own team!" said Arcanine.



        Arcanine and Kaya ran away to their boat to think about the new team. "Hey Kaya we can go visit Talon"Arcanine asked. "Who's Talon?"Kaya asked. "Talon the great the one who is the greatest slead dog in the world exept for Balto" Arcanine told Kaya."Oh" Kaya barked. And so the adventure begns. "Kaya who will our team be?" asked Arcanine. "Kodi,Kirby,Ralph,and Dusty can go, we make a 6 team" Kaya answerd. So Arcanine and Kaya went to ask the mail team if they will help. "Sorry girls we can't be on your team, who will run the mail then?" said Kirby. "Alright"Arcanine sighed. Arcanine and Kaya walked back to the boat. "Now what do we do?" asked Kaya. Arcanine cheered up and ran."Arcanine!" Kaya yelled. "Come'on Kaya, I've got and idea!"Arcanine howeld to Kaya and she ran after her sister.


         Arcanine and Kaya went to go see Balto for some help on what to bring on their trip. "Balto? Are you there?" asked Kaya."Come on in"answered Balto."What did you bring on your trip on finding Steele with the medicine" asked Arcanine. "Well I didn't bring anything"Balto barked. Arcanine and Kaya thanked Balto for the advice and went to the mail dogs to see if they wanted to join their team. "Hey Kodi, Kirby, Ralph, Dusty wanta join our sled team"? asked Kaya. "Sorry we can't" said Kodi. "Well then, what are we going to do now?"said Kaya. " Oh I know!! There is a guy I used to know that lives up sort of near the hill, its a few miles north."said Kaya. " Well, who is she?" said Arcanine. "She is a he...... And his name is Tony. He's known as the fastest dog in the WORLD!!!!!!!!" said Kaya. "Do you like Tony or something?" asked Arcanine. "Shut up Arcanine!" Kaya said angrily. So they headed off to find Tony, but thats the marking point for now.....
        "Arcanine! This is his den, but he's not here.... What should we do?" Kaya said. "Well we will just have to wait for him." said Arcanine. "Wait! He left a note!" Kaya remarked. "Whats it say?" Arcanine says. It says"Sorry for woever needs me I am on a short journey that will take about 3 days I will be back on the 30th of June (P.S. I'm on vacation!)

      "Well i guess we will just have to wait." says Arcanine. "For three days!!!! No way!!!" Kaya barks. " NO! he said the 30th! Thats tomorrow, so we stay for only one night" says Arcanine. " Well we are a his house, and he never, and I mean never, locks his door..... So why not stay at his house? He does have a guest bedroom." Kaya said. "Well i guess so, but.... Sure, we have nowhere to go anyways." said Arcanine.
  
    Arcanine and Kaya waited awhile for Tony. Arcanine could not wait any longer so she set of into the forest heading for Wolf Mountain to find Talon the great. Arcanine ran as fast as she could to Wolf Moutain but she stoped. She rememberd her friend she had that already went to Wolf Mountian. Shasta. "SHASTA!!!!" Arcanine howeld. Then bushes moved
and out poped out Shasta a huskey pup.

"Shasta!!!" Arcanine howled.

      Mean while, Kaya waited two more days for Tony. Soon he showed up, but he showed up sick, and too sick. Kaya needed Arcanine soon, but she  was too far  north  for Kaya to leave Tony. So she stayed with him. He only got sicker and sicker, day by day, and Kaya knew she had to leave for his medicine or he will die.

     "Tony how are you feeling?" Kaya asked. " A lot better today than five days ago...." He answered. " Well your going to need the strength because  we're  going to go get your medicine. Its a three mile run it will take us about two hours." Kaya said. "Well thats ok .... I can go that far, but no further..." He said.

    While Kaya was with Tony, Arcanine was with Shasta, going to find Talon the great. "Shasta!!!!" She howled "What are you doing here?" Arcanine barked. "W-Well I saw you and t-thought.... I could join you..... On your journey to Talon the Great...." Shasta answered. "Well we better be going, Talon doesn't like company that much." Arcanine said.
