Kira 3

     On night the pups,Kira,Smokey,and Lightning were playing around and goofing off.When Kirs smelled an odd smell of another wolf.She told Smokey and Lightning.Lightning sniffed the air.It smelled familiar to him.He said,"It smells fam-"He cut off as he realized what it was he started growling,"Dante"he said.

Kira looked at him,"Who's Dan-"Lightning cut her off,"Get the pups inside!You stay with them and Smokey needs to stay out here with me."Kira listen and gathered up the pups.She took them inside their small shelter.

     Lightning growled angerly,"Show yourself brother,"He watched the trees until he saw his twin brother,Dante`."Well, well,well.Look who it is my brother.And what's this,another male,are you head of the pack or are you a wimpy sidekick,"Dante said laughing.

     Lightning looked away,"This isn't my pack,just some good friends of mine,now leave."

     Dante laughed,"You really think I'm going to leave?After all I just reunited with my brother,"Dante said taking a few steps closer to Lightning.

     Lightning glowled and snarled louder every step he took closer to him,"Go away Dante!"For once sinse Dante arrived Lightning looked over at Smokey,"Don't worry he is just a bully I'll make sure he doesnt touch you,your pups,or your mate Kira."

     Smokey heard what he said and started growling,"There'a no way he's touching my family!"

     Dante laughed,"Touchy,touchy I won't touch your family,I've just brought news about a pack I will join,the blood pack!But you can't join you have to be red or black or even both in color,"He said referring to his exact same markings as Lightning only in different colors and he doesn't have a lightning bolt going down the side of his body.

     Lightning looked away and mumbled,"Sure.You're saying that to rub it in my face then you are probabaly going to attack us with your pack,"

Dante pretended to be hurt,"WHy would I ever do that my dear brother?"

Lightning growled at him,"Would you just shut up and go away?"

Dante laughed,"Sure brother but I'll be back,"he took off towards the forest and diapeared into the shadows.

Lightning and Smokey walked back to the shelter.Lightning looked at Kira,"It's safe you can take the pups back out if you want."

"No I'm just going to put them to bed."Kira said then asked,"Who was that?"

"That was my brother Dante.He's horrible."Lightning said.

"What makes him so horrible?"Kira asked.

"I think it's because when we were growing up he nerev got anything while I got everything."Lightning said.

"Okay,"Kira said.

"I'm going to leave now,"Lightning said turning.

"No.I don't want you out there while your brother is after you,stay here for the night,"Kira said worried.

"No.I'm sorry but I have to leave,"Lightning said and walked out.

"Okay,"Kira wispered.

     Kira and Smokey laid down with the pups,Kira not able to sleep.She had a sense that something was wrong.Sleep finaly found her though.

     Kira woke up that morning to wimpering.She looked around and neither Smokey nor the pups were with her.THe wimpering was coming from outside.SHe stood up and walked outside and gasped.

     She saw Bolt lieing on the ground panting.He had a large gash on his stomach and one across his left shulder.She immiediately ran over and started licking the wounds.

She stopped and looked at her pups around her and Bolt in a half circle."Where is your father?"she asked.

Little Rosie answered,"He went to find help."

Kira looked at Rosie,"Where,"she asked.

"He went towards town.I guess he was going to our old pack."she shrugged as she answered.

Kira looked at her,"What!Okay I just need to calm down.They would never hurt us.They would help us."she was talking to herself.

     Kira continued licking the wounds,"I knew you should've stayed last night,"she mumbled.

Bolt looked up at her,"i know,I probably should've listened to you,huh?"he said chuckling lightly.

"Hmm.Yeah!"Kira said.She helped him into the shelter and ran into the forest looking for herbs that would help the pain.She came back to see that Smokey had come back without a single member of the pack.I sighed and walked in with the herbs.

      She used them and put what she needed on the wounds,she had also gotten some to help it heal.

     Bolt's wounds were healing but some bad news had come.His brother had snapped and gone insane and ended up killing himself.Bolt just shook his head and walked into the shelter when he heard the news from a member of the blood pack.He lived a long life a least.

     One day Kira and Smokey asked Lightning Bolt to join their pack he exepted.
