Dingo? His little brother? The one that looks up to him? His best friend? Missing? "No!" Dawson said, a little too loudly as everyone turned to stare at him. "There must be a mistake! Dingo can't be missing! I saw him a few days ago."

"As did vee," Boris spoke up from the corner of the boat, still mopping the deck furiously. "Vee 'dought ee was just being ah pup and playing aroun' but when ee didn't come home for a whole night, vee got worried."

"Fly boy's right hunny," Stella said from the same corner, with a wing on Boris's shoulder. "Your father, mother and the rest of us looked all over town and asked everyone would could but no one has seen him since the race."

"We think he followed you son," Balto piped up, Jenna's sniffs of tears still being heard as she buried her head into his fathers fur. "He might have gotten frightened without you and followed the teams tracks but got lost half way through in the storm."

"Do the others know?" Dawson finally asked after a very deep breath. His father shook his head and before he could even open his mouth Dawson had leaped off the boat and jumped into the snow bank below. After regaining his footing he rushed forwards and towards Nome knowing he had to rally his siblings together.

The first house he reached which was closest to the beach was Saba's home. He raced to the back porch where she was lying on her favorite rug, her eyes closed. "Saba!" he breathed as he stopped on the steps. She looked up right away with a confused expression. "Whats up?" she asked with a raised brow.

"Its Dingo!" Dawson said and she smirked and rolled her eyes. "He's missing!" She stopped and looked back at him with surprise. Her ears lowered and she looked away for a moment. Dawson looked at his sister until she looked back at him. "Its all my fault...isn't it?" she asked, a single tear escaping from her blue eye. "I...I shouldn't have made fun of him! Oh! Its all my fault!"

"No!" Dawson growled, angry his sister was feeling guilty. "Its no ones fault but mine! I should have told him myself I was going on a race!"

"But I told him to get out of town! Oh, I'm a terrible sister!" she moaned and put her head down on her paws, sobbing.

"Well I'm going to find him," he said with another snarl. "Are you coming or not?" She didn't answer as she kept crying. "Ugh! I don't have time for this! Go ahead and drown in your own sorrow! I'm going to find our brother!"

With that, he leaped off the steps and out on the street again. He was so angry at that pompus pooch! She didn't even care! Those were fake tears, he knew it!

The next place he came to was the factory on the outskirts of town. Inside was the mail team which was Kodi, Dusty, Ralph, and Kirby with his other sister Willow joined in the chat. They all looked at him when he opened the door, confused. "Kodi! Willow!" he yelled and he ran across the room to the middle of the circle. "Its Dingo! He's missing!"

"What?" they all said with surprise, Dusty the most for some reason.

"Its all Saba's fault!" Willow snarled and she stood up. "If that idiot would have kept to herself, Dingo would be here with us right now!" They all nodded. "Where is she?" Dusty growled as she stood up also. "I wanna push her around, just like she pushed our Dingo around!" They all again nodded before standing up.

"Wait!" Dawson yelled as they started for the door as an angry mob. "What is the matter with you all?! My brother, our brother is missing and you wanna beat up somebody!? We should be out there looking for him! NOW!"

They stared at him for a moment. "He's right you know." Everyone turned and looked back where the circle of dogs had once been. No one had noticed Kodi had not moved. "He's our brother, and we should only care about his safety," he said as he stood beside Dawson. "I don't know about you but I think this should be a siblings adventure." He looked at Dawson who nodded. Everyone looked at the Willow and her bared teeth. She frowned before nodding.

They all then walked out the door before stopping to say good bye to the mail dogs. Dawson was making a joke with Ralph when he noticed two blue eyes peeking around the corner. He excused himself from the chat and walked over to his sister. She was hiding as he stopped in front of her. "They hate me, don't they?" she asked quitely.

"They did," he answered honestly. "But I think I've talked them out of it."

"You don't want me in the search party," she said. "I'll just make everything a mess with arguments. You know how Willow is."

"But we need you," he said as he extended his paw. "Please." She looked at him with large, round, blue eyes before looking at his large paw. She stood there for a moment before putting her paw in his with a smile. They nuzzled as Dawson whispered, "Thats my little sister."

They walked towards the group of dogs, Saba cowering behind her big brother. They glanced at her, a few glares but they didn't attack her. "Saba is coming with us," Dawson said to Kodi and Willow. Kodi nodded as he watched Saba but Willow shook her head. "No," she said flatly. "She can't. How are we supposed to show we love Dingo if we bring her along. She'll slow us all down!"

"Stop whining Willow!" Dawson snarled. "I'm the oldest, and what I say goes got it?" Willow snarled as she stared at him. "GOT IT?!" She growled again before muttering, "Whatever."

Dawson straightened up before looking at all three of his siblings. "We have a mission," he said loudly as they watched him with admiration. "To find our brother. This is a sibling mission only, as Kodi said. We have to find him by working together." He then turned and looked at the mail dogs. "Hopefully he'll find his way home again. You guys stay back and wait." They nodded as Dawson turned to look towards the open forest with the magestic moutains rising in the distance. "Right," he said. "We're off." With that he moved forwards at a trotting speed as the sibling followed in a line, Kodi behind him, Willow third and finally Saba last.

It wasn't long until the big factory and the barking mail dogs could not be seen anymore. It felt erie and quiet as the dogs crunched through the snow and leaves littered upon the forest floor. There was no speeking at all. Only a few grunts and growls as their fur got stuck on branches and thorns. Many thoughts flew through Dawsons head as they walked on. He would say he was a very good brother to Dingo so why didn't he put his brother before the race?! He felt so selfish and stupid for leaving him behind.

His throughts stopped as he heard more growling that usual behind him. "Alright!" he snarled as he looked back at the sisters. "Thats enough!" They looked at him with confused expressions. "Enough of what big nose?" Willow sneered.

"Really Dawson," Saba said as she cowered again. "Me and Willow haven't talked the whole trip." They were far enough into the forest to be in the shadows with only tiny bits of light showering through the trees above. Dawson looked up as the wind got stronger. He seemed to feel some sort of presence about so the siblings were not alone.

Willow bared her teeth as Saba cowered behind the frighted Kodiak. "What...whats that?" Sabas whisper could be heard behind Dawson. He looked towards the place she was looking to see two large blue eyes staring at them. Dawson picked up his paw and the eyes jolted once but regained its composure and watched on. Dawson hated the feeling of being watched.

"Thats it!" Willow snarled as she leaped at the blue through the bushes, teeth bared and claws extended. Dawson quickly came to her aid knowing he didn't want to loose another sibling. They bit and tore at the creature but it just bit and tore back. Dawson slashed at it with his paw trying desperatly to keep Willow safe. But she and it wouldn't back down. It was like they both knew how to fight the same way. Willow would slash her paw at the creature but it would slash back. There was no beating this thing so finally Dawson grabbed Willows fur and pulled her into the clearing with the others.

The four sat there back to back all frightened of what might happen next. Suddenly they could hear the excited yelp of wolves coming closer all around them. Soon many yellow eyes appeared circling around them. Many laughing and yelping in pleasure as they watched the frightened faces of the hybrids. "Whad'a we do?!" Kodi asked with a frightened yelp.

"Nothing!" a voice yelled from in front of Dawson. They all looked to see the blue eyes had appeared again with yellow eyes beside it. Dawson could tell it was a female because of her high voice yet it did send shivers down his spine. But he knew he had to speak up, he was the oldest.

He stood in a proud pose as the wolves around him jumped a little as the female had done before but kept their eyes trained on the hybrids. "Who are you?" Dawson asked bravely although he was scared in his mind.

"Who wants to know?" the fae asked in a menacing tone.

"I, Dawson," he said with a deep intake of breath. "And my siblings Kodiak, Willow and Saba." The blue eyes blinked once and seemed to loose their anger. "You are ... Balto's pups, correct?" the voice asked but it again had lost its menecing tone. Dawson was surprised. How would a wolf know this?

"Yes," he answered shortly. "Missing two but yes, we are."

"Well you found one," she answered before walking out into the light. She had bright grey fur with a white belly and curled tail. You could almost say she was a hybrid. Her stockings reached her elbows on her front legs and her back legs looked kind of the same as Dawsons. Could it be? Could it
