Chapter 5: Disaster from Rivals and Gathering.
After hours of playing and relaxing, I went to the boat and look for Mr. Balto. When I was walking around the deck, Miss Jenna told me; “My husband and my children is at your owner’s home, he also brought my daughter: Aleu to your home. But, do you want to come with me? We could go there together and meet them!”
When she continues talking, I looked at the sky and think; what is Balto doing?
~ For some reason, she began to get worried.
* ~ Jenna looks worried and curious ~*
“Are you alright Micro – Ice?” asked Jenna.
As I take notice of her voice, I snapped out and told her; its nothing Miss Jenna…I’m just checking the sky.
After the conversations, I went with her to my home.
As we arrived, I couldn’t see them anywhere!! Somehow, Miss Jenna saw them behind Steel's home.
But, she’s not happy when she saw Steele lurking around…
Over sudden, the other came and greeted me with happiness and shifted us to my owner’s new home. It’s about 3 blocks away from Steel’s home. Nevertheless, I didn’t know that he was getting an upgrade, with a garden for us to play!
However, I was a little worried….I couldn’t find Aleu. But, as I was about to ask Mr. Balto…about her, my owner came and put Aleu down on the ground [next to me]. He then pats me gently on the head and said; “She just looks like you and very friendly! Balto introduced her to me. Nevertheless…just look at all of you…aaaaawwwwww…..how cute!”
He even added; “One Big family don’t you think???”
After the big celebration, I notice something around Aleu’s neck! But, Mr. Balto didn’t want to ruin the surprise…so, he must have kept it as secrete…
Oh well…same goes for Mr. Balto.
When we are at the back of my owner’s new garden, everyone was happy and hyper! We were just like kids…in the old days.
An hour later, Mr. Balto came and said to me quietly; “UUUhhhh….Micro - Ice…do you have a minute to spare? I…need to talk with you about Aleu.”
As I heard him, I sneaked quietly and follow his footstep, to the refurbished Boiler - Room.
*Screen paused*
Oh yeah...Mr. Gavrie, my owner, he’s opening a pizza / hot pie take-away for the community. So, he could make money and to support the family.
Without it, there would be no future for me or my family.
It’s like the old days, where his father had a bakery shop; packed with hot pies, pizzas, and big bread…yum!
*Screen continues*
As we are heading to the refurbish room, Mr. Balto looked at me happily and said: “my daughter is now with your family…”
At the door, he paused for a minute and inferred: “Aleu is now your mate….”
*Screen paused*
Ok, Ok….this is getting on my nerves!! What are mates?
Well…let’s look at the dictionary…
M- Mates….where are the page, beginning with M!
Aaaahhhh….here is vocabulary.

Soon enough, we arrived near the Boiler -Room. After that, he began to talk.
Balto: “From now on, She will be with you. But…I know that you’re still young and worried about this!”
Micro - Ice: Well…I’m not worried about that. But, I’m happy that the family is pulling along together…pretty well….
Balto: “Good!”
Micro - Ice: Ohhh….by the way…could I ask you a question? It might sound weird….but, I hope you can answer.
Balto: “Sure! Just flame it!!”
Micro - Ice: Last night…when I was sleeping with your daughter, she told me about Steele….”
Suddenly, an uninvited visitor came; Steele!
Steele: “Look here…son in law and father! How nice Balto…how nice!!”
Balto: “What are you doing here Steele? What do you want??”
Steele: “…I’m just here…to finish my business…” * Spitting Saliva to the floor*
When things get a little bloody, I couldn’t stand it. But, I must warn my owner…or else…
*Balto and Steele Growling*
Without fiery or anger, Mr. Balto control his motion for the battle of his life.
Balto: “Micro - Ice…please run and alerts my wife and your owner, I’ll handle the rest….and hhuuurr…!” * Steele and Balto fighting*
As I ran away from the Boiler - Room, I quickly dash to the kitchen and warn Gavrie. As I was barking, he knew that there was a problem.
Quickly as he could, he grabbed his wooden baseball bat and rush to the Boiler – Room.
Over the Boiler - Room, Steele was trying to chock Balto with his powerful jaws. Luckily, Mr. Balto dodges the blow and let Steel hurt himself.
However, the room were completely wrecked! But, there aren’t any fire leakages.
As they were panting for air, Steele starts to growl badly.
Balto: “Why are you doing this Steel? You are destroying our property!!”
Steele: “So what….I don’t even care! All I wish is….you…vanished!!”
Just in time, Jenna came and forces Steele to the ground. But, he quickly dodges and chucks her to the wall.
Suddenly there was a loud voice; “Jenna!!!!!!!!”
From the outside, Rosie cried with agony and ran away from her parents, to Jenna’s side. As slowly as Balto could move [On high guard], he moved to Jenna with anger and hate.
Balto: “Jenna…are you alright???”
A minute later, Steele regained his full strength and directly target Rosie. As he ran towards her, Balto pushed Rosie to the side and sacrifice himself for Rosie’s safety.
Without notice from Steele’s guard, his owner and Gavrie ran to the scene and took Steel’s lights out!
……..Whack!
………….Thumb...
………………Ouch!
Steel’s owner: OOPS! Did I hurt him that badly???
Gavrie: No….you put him to bed! *Smiling*
Steel’s owner: That is good news. This is my first time, seeing him being so crazy!
Gavrie: So…what is wrong with him?
Steel’s owner: I don’t even have a clue!
When the fighting is over, Jenna regained her cautiousness and licked Rosie’s cheek. She then looked at Balto’s injuries…
Jenna: Honey…you’re hurt!
Balto: I’m ok Jen…but, where is Micro – Ice?
Jenna: He’s beside Gavrie.
Balto: Thanks for telling me that. I don’t feel….
*Balto faint*
As he faded to the floor, the entire town’s people, and, Rosie’s father were in deep shock!
They immediately took him to the Hospital.
Since, he is so big and heavy, a pack of old friends join the party and assist the others by sledge.
Just before they left, Aleu, Kodi, and I put a blanket over his body, [Balto] to keep him warm and snugly!
From home, piles of broken nails, woods and junk, are being picked up for recycling. Not only Gavrie and Steel’s owner where cleaning the place - up, the villager also donated supplies and assistance, to restore the boiler room.
Kodi, and the rest of the gang, helped to paint the wall and carried equipments for repair.
It was hard work! But, we manage to complete it and celebrate! Without the help of the community, the take – away restaurant couldn’t be refurbish for the open – day!
Chapter 6: The New Restaurant, Adoption day and Exile!
3 weeks after Steele’s revenge, the town had a big meeting, whether to expel him from entering town, or, to punish him for destroying everyone’s life.
It was the choices that everyone was wishing for, even the dogs who hated him most!
After sunset, everyone was gathering at the hospital, waiting for the doctor’s signs about Balto. Nevertheless, the entire village was praying for him too!
From bellow, I was a little lost…too many legs!! Oh well....I’ll just have to get use to these sort of things.
A couple of minutes later, they saw Balto and the doctor. At the hospital entrance, the doctor happily announced; “He sustain minor scratches and bruises. But, he will be fine!”
When the villager heard the news flash, everybody cheer and celebrate!
Over at the ‘Take – Away Shop,’ it’s now being called: Gavrie Fall’s Restaurant.
From there, everyone was having pies and great pizzas!! Not only the villager where eating, all of the dogs who were helping and organizing events, they all had a meal…a big meal!
Nevertheless, Aleu and I secretly grab a pie from my master’s counter, and, quietly moved to the kitchen, where, there aren’t any disturbances. Although, we really had a good time crunching – up the left over…it was delicious!
Behind the shop there were Mr. Balto and Miss Jenna enjoying their meals and their lovely honeymoon. After all, their children’s are busy, talking with the other group’s: the sledge dogs team.
They were talking about their father’s great adventure; “a hero that save Nome, Alaska!”
In front of the restaurant, there were young children thinking about adopting puppies from Rosie’s parents. Nevertheless, her family is now together
