Ethereal Moon

It's rays shine into my eyes

I lay here in the snow

Cold is my heart

It's beats liquid sadness through my veins

I have lost it all

Not long ago

My friends lived

together we ran to Paradise

in the company of the Lunar Flower

We suffered through it all but maintained our faith

in one another

I experienced happiness to sadness

But through it all we believed in the prophecy of the moon

We watched man suffer onto himself like a child they waged war

The planet sick under our paws

an eternal winter

We walked through ruined cities inhabited by the poor and hopeless

trying to cling to some delusion

But all that was so long ago

Now nothing exists but the cold loneliness of my life

I wait for Paradise to open so I may run with my friends in eternal bliss

I close my eyes

Ice covers me

I float downward in the soft embrace of the water

I look up at the moon it's clear light illuminating the land

I can now release myself from this world

Paradise invites me to come and I answer it's calling
