Alura had awoken to find herself locked in a cage surrounded by thirty or more dogs.

Chapter Ten 

 

There were about sixteen dogs following behind Solaris. as they were walking Solaris suddenly came to a stop.

What's wrong Solaris. asked akira who is in a hurry to find her sister.

Yeah sorry Tequila, replied Ashanti and vega.

Now that's better, so Solaris what do you think we should do? asked Tequila.

I think we should all split up and see what we can find, that way, neither of us would have to keep arguing about what the other person is doing. Solaris replied pointing out what had just taken place.

Good idea Solaris. Vega said.

So all sixteen dogs split up into groups eight standing side by side and two by two.

Alright lets go, said solaris.

Chapter Eleven

 

It's been two weeks since Alura went missing. all the dogs the that went with Solaris had broken off into groups.

Any luck over there sis? asked vega.

No nothing, not a single sent trail. it's almost like the disapeard into thin air. Ashanti replied

We've got to keep trying, who knows what they're doing to Alura. said vega.

Just then they both heard a sound coming a nearby alley, there alot of alley way's in nome.

What was that? asked Ashanti with a fearful tone setting in her voice.

I don't know but i can asure you i going to find out.

Be careful big brother, said his frightend sister.

As vega started walking closer to where he heard the sound he saw a orange and brown dog laying on the ground recivering from the fall.

Mom, he said looking surprised. he then called to his sister.

!!!!!!!!!! ASHANTI COME HERE IT'S MOM!!!!!

 

!!!!!!!!!!! MOM!!!!!. she yelled in surprised. then she started to cry.

Mom, i missed you so much. what happened to you?

I can't tell you that righ now. we have to go and rescue Alura !!!!!!!!! NOW !!!!!!!!!! she yelled. i'll explain on the way.

Chapter Twelve

 Alfina,Ashanti and Vega had just came into view of the old abandond house that they were using as they're hide out.

Is this the place? asked Vega looking at the spooky looking house.

Then Ashanti began speaking.

Ewww, it's filthy, the least they could do is wash a window or maybe clean floor once in a while. i mean come on do you know how long it would take to that much dirt and grime out of my fur, not to mention how much it would cost.

Yeah, i agree with Ashanti on this one. we can't afford getting all dirty and filthy, we have a reputation as the most beautiful and the most popular. besides isn't there another way into the house, like a door.

Yes there is mr. and mrs. selfish, but it's probably guarded. you know, you should probably start thinking other people and not just focusing on how popular you are or how much money your masters have.

As the three dogs finished talking. a black and cream colored bull terrier mix came out of the shadows.

MARQUITA, Alfina growled.

Well....well...well...look what we have here, two trespassers and one traitor, doesn't get.

Outa my way Marquita, Alfina said still growling. she turned to whisper to her children.

You two go find the rest group and lead them here.

But mom, what about you, asked Vega worried and scared for his mother.

Then the two dogs came to a halt, as if they were hearing things.

Wait a minute, what did she say, Ashanti asked with confusion setting into her mind

It's nothing Ashanti, just go and you too Vega. this doesn't concern you, either of you.

WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE, NOT UNTIL YOU TELL US WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE AND HOW YOU KNOW THIS LOUSY EXCUSE FOR A DOG OVER THERE. said Vega who was still were still shouting.

You better watch your tongue young half-breed.Marquita remarked

Oh hell no, i know she did not just call us no half-breed you stupid ass, no class having, dirt covered, flea-bitten sonofa bitch.

Her looked shocked and scared at what her daughter had just said to Marquita, knowing that her daughter was digging her own grave.

As Ashanti began to speak again, her mother jumped in to stop her but before she could do or say anything, Marquita was on top of both of them in seconds. then Vega came to their rescue just in time.

!!!!!!!!! YOU GUY'S GET OUT OF HERE I'LL HOLD HER OFF !!!!!!!!!!, shouted Vega as he felt sudden boost of courage rushing through his.

No vega, your no match for Marquita, his mother stated.

For once you mother is right. maybe if you leave town and never return again, i might just spare your life. said Marquita with an evil grin on.

Vega, his mother said.

I'm not asking you anymore, i'm telling leave now and take your sister with you. i can handle things from here.

Oh really, we'll just see how well your skills have improved over the years.

Then Marquited and Alfina started fighting in second.

Chapter Thirteen

 

Vega and ashanti filled the in on what was going on and has increased their numbers by including ten more dogs to their group making them twenty-six dogs strong.

 

As he saw the dogs running, a red-whitish dog ran as fast he could to catch up with them. when he did he jumped in front of them

Hey what going. he asked.

Kodi, is that you, Vega asked looking shocked and surprised to see his old friend again. they haven't seen each other since they were puppies. Alfina and her family had just moved to nome when they met Kodi and his family.

 

Ecuse me but Do you mind telling me who this is because judging by the looks of things he doesn't seem to groom himself well. Ashanti asked looking up and down at the scruffy looking dog.

Oh honestly Ashanti, you don't remember? kodi asked.

Okay then, when we pups you and i used to go visit my dad all the time at his old trawler he used to live in. we were playing by the beach when you decided to go venturing off further into the water and almost drowned. me and Vega both told it wasn't a  good idea but you wouldn't listen what any of us had to say, not even my dad. you were just as stubborn as alway's
