"Hey Boris!" Yelled Balto "The Sled Team is gone! Should we look for them?" "No!" "Why?" "Err Boychick I have my reasons. Just don't go it's too dangerous..." Boris said darkly. " Umm okay Boris I'll listen..." Balto said groggley as he lay down. 

                       Mean While

         "Steel Wer'e lost! Wer'e going in cicles! We-" "Shut Up" Barked Steel "Hhhhoooowwwwooooooooo" A pack of wolves was near bye. "Steel... Are those wolves?"Nikki asked reffering to the shadows up ahead. "No... just some... No....Wait they're like Balto or something."Snapped Steel "Let's move..." He said as he started running like mad. "Why did we get stuck with him as our leader?" Asked Kaltag. 

                     The Wolves

           The wolves started to chase the sled team. Their growls intimidated the sled team. The medicince slowly started to fall out. One by one the medicine disapeared. One of the wolves attacked. Soon there was a battle. The wolves were winning. The sled dogs were separated.

                   Back to the town

             Weeks passed. Months passed. No sled team at all. Many of the sick people had died. Jenna's owner had died. Jenna's depression had overwelmed her. She had also passed away. The town was falling to pieces. "Hey Boris," called Balto" Do you think we should help them now?" "No!" That was Boris. Only few people still lived in Nome, Alaska. Many people moved away.

                   Steel's Fate

               Steel was one of the lucky ones. He managed to survive. He eventually met up with a white wolf who spared him and told him to go to where he belongs. He was doubtful but listened. His senses told him to keep going. He went, and went, and went. Steel eventually stopped in a small village with lots of dogs. At first he was regected, but then the dogs trusted him. Some where pure breeds. Others like Balto cross breeds. He was kinder and more giving. But then one day something happened. The white wolf came with her pack.

                 Wolves Warning

                 "This is not where you belong," she growled" Go back to where you came from. If you don't... Well let's just say you may not live. You need to go back. You will leave in the morning. You will help my son Balto... He might say you've spoken to my mother Anui...My name is Anui. Go!" Her voice trailed off. " Okay I gotta go," Steel got up and started running.

                 In Nome

                   "Get up Boris... Come on you old goose let's go," Balto said to a motionless Boris.  Boris didn't move. "Your friend is dead Lobo." Snarrled Steel pining Balto to the ground. " Why didn't you come back? Jenna's dead. So is almost everyone else. Many of them moved away. Why didn't you come back with the medicine? Why are you here Steel? We are the only ones here now." Balto said calmly. " Wolves... killed the team...I'm the only survivor." Steel said letting Balto get up. "I could of helped you. I could've saved those people. I could have saved the town. But you! You had to get lost!" Growled Balto pinning Steel down. " Kill me I deserve it," Said Steel. " No I won't kill you, But the wolves will, Mom!" Yelled Balto. Within fiffteen minutes later a huge pack was there.

                Steel's Grave  

                 " You will die. You belonged in the dirt you flea bag! Wiping out a whole town... Reckless Fool! Die!" Growled Anui as she attacked. Steel was only alive for three more minutes. They burried him behind the hospital with everyone else. On his grave it said" Destroyer of Nome".
