Who is Togo?  Most people assume he was the other dog, not as important.  Balto knows better.  Togo was always small for some reason, but had a big enough heart to help save the town of Nome.  Although, older than Balto they were always good friends.

"Pull your wieght come!...on!...", Togo tried to yell over the howling wind.  "We can't go...much..farther... in these conditions!", screamed one of the other sled dogs.  "If you were any bigger of a winer we'd have already pushed you...over Sturk!", yelled one of the other dogs in the rear of the team.  They all laughed a bit, but it didn't last.

"Where...are we To...g..ju..j...go...", one of the sled dogs urged with little ease.  The winds that night were supposedly around 40mph.  Breathing in was a difficult task for the trained sled dogs.  Controlling their breathing was critical for best performance in this kind of extreme weather.  "How in God's name am I supposed to know".  "How 'bout you come up here and take...a look for me...brawmley".

Brawmley was a rather lean dog and was expected to pull his own weight and possibly another dogs, if it came to that.  Although it wasn't usual to comment on his eyesight, under these circumstances any kind of humor was enough to cheer up these frostbitten huskies.  "Why I 'outta bite 'yous in the ear, that is if somebody hadn't 'dunse it for me."  Him and the rest of the team laughed like a bunch of hyaenas.  Everyone except Togo.

Being a bit older than all of the other dogs, it wasn't tolerated to disrespect Togo by talking about his damaged ear.  "You little wise ass...When we get back...I'm gonna beat the...sh...oh my god!"  What the sled team saw was quite possibly the most far-fetched sight they've seen along their journey to deliver mail.  "I don't think we're the only ones that have been out here", Sturk whispered.  Nobody heard him.  What lay upon them was horrific, but meant they were heading in the wrong direction as well.  "Something's wrong...terribly wrong...They froze...instantaneously!!"  The bodies of the dog team they were supposed to meet up with were frozen solid.  At first they only looked like lumps in the snow.  "We all know this is a tragic moment...but...if we don't hurry, their fate will be ours.  Brawms... get over there and retrieve the mail..."

When Brawmley went to find the mail bag he stumbled upon something.  It moved!  "Brawms!  Quit playin' games.  We haven't got much time left!"  As he tryed to pry the mail out of the sled and onto his back, he saw the object again.  "I'm pretty sure I'm seeing something here... I..I don't know what it is."  "Sturk", yelled Togo, "get over there and find out what the hell is goin' on!"  Moments passed by and Sturk finally managed to find out what Brawmley was talking about.  "Do you see it...D..do you see what I'm lookin' at."  Brawmley yelled to Sturk through the howling wind.  "Quit your blabbering and help me pull the mail", Sturk yelled.  The wind was getting louder and the blizzard was storming over the land.  "Hey Brawmsy boy did you just hear m...."  "shut up S..Sturk and take a look at this..."  "What is it?" they both started to argue like they do about everything.  "Will you idiots get the mail already...I'm freazing my paws in this wet slush!", Togo yelled in his grumpiest voice, "Not to mention I'm probably gonna' get frost-bite on my tail, my legs, every little hair on my chest and not to mention my tail!"  When he yelled at that very last second, he triggered something.  Something terrible.  The object that Brawmley and Sturk saw was actually a crack in a cliff-side chunk of ice.  The entire area where Brawmley and Sturk was had just collapsed.

No one even saw it.  It happened so quick Brawmley didn't even have a chance to say oops!  The six frozen bodies shattered into several fractures and slid into gruesome bloody pieces.  Half of the other team's sled dog leader slid into the oblivion along with The rest of him in tiny shards.  At first only that portion of the ice broke, but then it began to collapse..."Move dogs move!  Move your asses out of here you mutts!"  Togo screamed violently as he attemted to get at least some of the members to safety...  It was already to late to start with.  Before he even knew what hit him, Togo was washed away in the cloud of shattered ice and snow flurry.  His weight along with two overwhelmed dogs was enough to pull the rest of the team down.  Didio, a four year old sled dog was just barely holding on with her two front paws.  "Someone help...uhn!...help!...I can't pull myself up", she screamed.  "Wait you, over there help me...I..I don't know how much longer I can hold..."  She slipped and smashed her nose onto a ledge, and slammed into another ledge.  She didn't speak after this.  She stopped moving all together.  All that was moving was the hair on her chest that was blowing in the wind.  She lay on her back...No motion.

All but one survivor who cowered at the first sign of ice shatter.  Were his teammates alright...were they klled in the avalanche.  Was he okay.  He began to bleed repulsively.  A piece of sharp shattered ice had caught into his rib cage just a bit, but was causing him to caugh up bits of blood.  As he tried to ball up into a ball and stay warm, he started to lose consciousness, but remembered one thing... Balto, his father, loved his son and would never let him die.  He would never let Kodi die.  He will find him he though, "just like I found him"
