Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah; Steele is pretty hard to get rid of. He's just the kind of villain one doesn't /want/ to see die because (let's face it) he's pretty quintessential. It's almost like trying to kill off the devil himself (which, if you think about the fact that "Satan" literally means "the accuser" kind of makes sense, but I digress).

I admit I can't take credit for Carson; he was redwolf03's handiwork (you can read more about him in "A Second Chance: Copper," but be ready for blood). I do agree about dog fighting, though; I don't normally condone taking the law into one's own hands, but if I ever met someone involved with dog fighting, I'd have very few qualms about softening them up for the authorities.

First off still brilliant as usual. So yeah wow Steele really is invincible it seems here. No matter how many times you get rid of him, he somehow just keeps coming back for more. Also that Carson guy. Wow what a creep. I have a character with a similar background who's been in more of those fights than he can count and dealt with creeps like him a lot so I can relate to that vibe well. Dog fighting is something I will NEVER stand for and won't rest until it's put a stop to, which will probably be never but it is a real problem. Anyways another 10/10 effort for sure.

Ah, but they do. Taya's dream, for instance, all but bordered on prophetic. If not for the presence of outside influences, such as fleeting glimpses of Steele in her waking hours, the dream would have had to be deemed supernatural.
