Chapter 13:where...

I couldn't stop the tears from running down my face.I just kept walking nonstop in wolf form.My normal white fur was black now but it didn't make a difference to me.My one love,the one person I had ever came close to...was gone forever.It was starting to snow & I was alone without any help or anyone around me.My life felt like that one poem I read in 7th grade.What was it called?Oh yeah,The Raven by Edger Allen Poe.

   The memeries of her filled my heart with turtored misery & pain.I never felt so uselessly weak & pained with agony.Why did it have to end this way?Why couldn't it have been me & not her?Nothing seemed to glow in this dark hour of my life.

   I found a cliff that ended my road that I walked.I looked down to see a bolder at the bottem.I was about to jump until a rusle in the bushes made me stop."I would not do that if I was you,"said a male voice.A white & tan wolf appeared behind me.He looked as if he were blind with his bright purple eyes."Who might you be & why would you care?!"I shouted at him."Argentine Black & it would not matter to me but your little Okami friend it might,"he said.

   "I thought she was dead,"I said in confustion.He started to turn into a human again.He had hair as white as snow but tan skin so deep.His eyes were mirror like & he had a scar on the side of his neck."Well I would not jump to concultions if I were you.My men where on the hunt & fround her wet & damaged"

   I turned back to my normal self as well.Was it true?Could I trust this person that I don't even know?"Take me to her," was all I could think of saying.Argentine ran at a great speed to whereever he was taking me to.It took fast refleces to provent from crashing into a tree or trip on a bush.I wondered what Drei,my friends,Cody,& Reene where up to back in St.Augustine.

   We finily made it to the campsite.There was a blonde girl tending to an other girls wounds on her face.It was Okami!I felt a rush of joy fill over this horror feeling I felt when she was gone.I dashed after her.As I did she saw me & a big smile shown on her face"Ash!"she got up weakly.She was about to fall but luckily I cought her on time."I thought you where gone,"I cryed whispering in her ear as I held her in an embrace.

   I could see Cooro showing off his wings to the other guys that didn't seem the least bit amused.He walked over to the blonde girl that was cleaning Okami's wounds.She glared at him as he flirted & then punched him in the jaw making him crash into a tree.I laughed at this funny act that was going on.I looked down at Okami."these people are here to guide us back to the village's kingdom,Your home,"she said to me."Well I guess we best get moving,"I smiled at her.

  The next morning we got up  at what seemed like midnight due to the total darkness.There was no moon in the sky at all,just the small few stars."Is it always this dark here?"I asked Argentine.For the past few nights I was here it was totally dark."Only during the winter.This time of year we call 'the age of darkness'.In the summer we have whats called 'white nights',"he said to me.

   I just nodded & looked back forward.I then didn't hear anything but Cooro complaning & our foot steps in the snow.We made it to the top of a hill.Right there in front of me it plane great sight was the kingdom.I was home at last.I kept my joy to myself.We walked to a high gate that was made of white marble.I touched it feeling the smooth cold surface of it.Okami smiled at me as we made our way into the kingdom
