Both canines, walked, one next to another,
The male had plans, smiling on the way,
The female was confused, blind since her eyes were in cover
Both of them head, to the center of an alleyway.
Balto told Jenna to still keep her eyes in cover.
She agreed, soon standing on something cold.
the wolfdog whispered something to his lover,
Jenna heard something crash, and was about to scold.
The husky then was permited to see, and saw bottle glasses lay scattered.
She gasped, and looked at her mate, who smiled with glee.
On the snow lay crystal pieces, shattered,
but Balto saw no sadness, and had to disagree.
' Jenna, look at the glass and what do you see?'
' I see shattered glass, droped by you, not me.'
' Jenna look again, and pay close attention.'
' Now I see some stars, that our love seems to mention.'
He then took her to a hill, right outside of Nome.
Jenna was confused, for everywhere they roam.
Houses started to go dim, their light shutting down.
The place seemed so gray, everywhere in this town.
Balto nudged her to look up, and see now the sky,
the stars and aurora were hidden, they were too shy.
Jenna sighed with depression, the beauty had now dissapeared,
but her mate told her something, so great that she could cheered.
'The sky tonight looks pretty, so beautiful like you.'
' Balto there is nothing, that can't be true.'
' Jenna look again, and observe the moon.'
' Now the moon is light, brighter than sun in June.'
He took her to the aurora lights
they could see it many nights
It was something no one should miss,
