Awesome story as always, Dragon Tamer! It reminded me a
little of The Lion King 1 and 1/2, where Timon and Pumbaa
keep trying to mess up Simba and Nala's "date" but their
tricks keep backfiring on them. I also noticed the little
"Lady and the Tramp" touch,too. Great story! How long is
the Toby series going to be?...Not that I want it to end!

Wonderful! I loved it, and it was nice and squeeky clean
too, which is a huge bonus in the romantic sort of fanfics.
Keep it up!

redwolf03 --> Ah, you noticed. Yes, I got the idea for this whole story
from TLK 1 1/2, and the Lady and the Tramp reference was
deliberate as well (I have done so many parodies of that
movie, it's not even funny). As for how long the Toby series
will be, I have plans as far as number eight right now. But
I may come up with more, and I'm open to suggestions if
anyone has 'em.

Kelev --> Yeah. It's too bad more romances aren't clean these days, but if you ask me it just makes the ones that are all the better. Anyone can be crude, but it takes real discipline to be funny, romantic, AND clean. Fortunately, as long as there are peple like usround who appreciate clean entertainment, there's hope yet for the internet.

sums up where I got the whole idea. Of course if you haven't
seen the movie, you might want to avoid reading the comment
so you don't ruin the surprise for yourself.

Wow, that was a really good story. And went along very clean
lines, but still was very good, in my view. If you ever
decide to take being an author as your carrrier, I think you
would make a very good one. And thats something I usually don't admit to people, so thats something coming from me.

This story is just great! It's the second time I read it and
I note a thing that I haven't seen before. I don't know if
anyone have said this but I found a line from Johnny
English.

Rannoch --> Very observant. Yes, both of those scenes do
have their similarities. In fact, I first got the idea for
"Date With Disaster" from a scene in "The Lion King 1 1/2."
The ice cave, though, was more based on the crystal caverns
mentioned in one of the Dinotopia books. But it is similar
to the Northern Lights too. Thank you for your interest. And
