As dark as it was night, as cold as it was warm, my love for her was undying. My feet making light indents in the thick, heavy snow, that was falling, like rain from the heavens above. Just as I shook my fur, more dropletts of snow would land and slowly melt upon the touch of my warm nose. I watched the drops of water drip from my nose, falling down my chin and to the snow melting a small spot in the still falling snow. My eyes slowly shifted upward, to watch all of the snowflakes stagger down to our mysterious home we call Earth. My eyes seemed to brighten up the darkest of places as I thought of her.

I bristled my brown and black fur, hearing a crunch of denser snow behind me. My paws shuffled slightly, as I turned my head slightly, glancing back to see what startled me. My eyes narrowed, seeing a golden husky standing before me. She wasnt my love... where was my beautiful malamute... she was in my heart, ALWAYS! Where is she?! I thought. I slowly peeled my emerald green eyes off of the husky behind me. I didnt care! I didn't want to know why the husky was even behind me, stalking me! ha! I chuckled under my breath, my heart racing inside of my ribcage, pulsceting through my nimble body.

''Hey.. you.. Cat breath..'' The husky grumbled to me, his voice low and full of hatred towards me. I didn't want to start a fight, yet, it was rude to walk away at a time like this.

''What.. I don't want to start anything... just wanna go home.. and I suggest the same for you..'' I responded to him, I seriously didn't want anything to do with this wolf. He looked tough, but I was tougher... say anything about my soon to be mate.. and you are a dead wolf then! My tail was dragging against the ground, and my head raised, sniffing the crisp air around us. I cocked my head, staring at the wolf.

''Get out of here... You won't survive here.. NEVER!'' He snapped, his jaws locking in mid air as he yelled at me. I nearly jumped back, and I felt my fur bristle, and sweat dripping down my legs. I let a chuckle escape my tightly pressed lips and I grinned, my head cocked, and tail low. I knew I would live, and why wouldnt I?

''Who says? Am I not as worthy to live here as you are worthy to stalk me?'' I retorted lowly, snorting softly and then I swiveled my ears, and then smirked. ''Do I not run away in the prescence of you? Do I not look like I dont care?'' I said, my voice cracking, so I raised my nimble voice, my chest heaving out. I heard a distant yell saying 'hun! Dont! Please! Don't do anything!' My ears flattened, pinning to my head and I nodded, as if to answer to the voice. As if I want to start anything.. I thought. I looked up at the golden husky and rolled my emerald eyes. ''What did I even do to you? You jus' walk over to me and start something?'' I knew I may be getting myself into more trouble, and I slowly lowered my head, giving a snarl as a warning. "I won't bother wasting my time with you..." I said under my breath, slowly backing up, keeping my eyes on him.

"HOLD UP CAT BREATH!" He said with a snarl, raising his voice at him. The Huskie's fur bristled as he snarled, grabbing my scruff, making my eyes widen with sudden fear. I had never tried to kill another of my breed, yet, he wasnt of my breed.. he was a husky... not a wolf dog.. but a husky. I smirked, biting his paw, which was the only thing I could grasp at the moment, snarling erupting from my throat, him making a sharp squeel of terror, startled of the sudden grasp, and kicked my head. I snarled louder, and bit harder.

"Lemme go!" I muffled through his fur, my eyes twitching with pain. Blood seeped through my fur and I looked at him with wide eyes and bit harder, I could feel the bone. He whined, letting me drop down to my paws and I whined, slowly getting up and forced past him, running into the night.

I got up quickly, running into the night towards the woods, my paws making large indents, clarifying where I was going, and where I ran off to. I collapsed in the snow as blood ran down my back. Am I going to die of such a minor injury?  I questioned, and saw a figure creeping closer to me, my eyes slowly closing, them cold as steel, and her eyes worried. It was a wolf. My body fell limp and I fell unconscious.

I woke up to see a female, curled up in the corner. I felt blood crested to my fur, and it made my scruff scrunch together. "where... am I?" I said under my breath, almost sounding worn out from that run, and the exhuastion of the minor fight me and the husky had earlier. I grimaced as she got up, and licked my cheek. "Your not Hakyut!" I said, and pushed myself backward. Claps of thunder rolled in the distance, lightly springing from the clouds. I flinched, there was a storm coming. A shot rang through the air. I was unsure if it was the thunder, but I was looking at her with wide eyes, adn I was curious. Another shot sound scrambled into my ears. "BULLETS!" I yelled to her, scrambling up, darting out of her den. I had to find Hakyut. I felt a sudden pain surge through me. I had been shot, and I hurled into a tree, the Female following me. I looked at her, as a hunter approached. We were as good as dead..
