Balto was really lonly when he lived with his family, he really did miss Jenna. He regreted that he didn't fallow Jenna and was know worried that she would really go with Steele. He was really worried! He just couldn't see his mate, well that he considers them mates still, Mate with Steele!

Jenna was walking in town at 12:00 pm at night becasue steele, her new mate wanted to see her for some reason at his room in a shed. Jenna couldn't wait to see what it was! She wondered if still got her a new bandana or wanted to have dinner with her? She had no idea, but she really wanted to figure out.
       When Jenna got there the lights were dim. and there was a heart shaped pillow some hot dogs on it. Jenna guessed they were gunna have a romantic dinner. She sat onto the pillow and then stil walked in.
       " O Jenna I didn't expect to have you here this early," smiled Steele. Jenna saw that he was not wearing his usual black leather collar he was wearing a red collar and has something in his mouth.

Balto looked up in the sky," mother what should I do,"
     Balto fell a sleep and had a wierd dream. He came out of the forest and saw Jenna, she looked really suprised but happy to see him, but then Steele came and attacked Balto.

Balto woke up with a start and woke up his brother Palo.

"Wha? What balto?" asked Palo.

"Tell Belle and everyone else i'm leiving," said Balto.

"What why?" asked Palo sitting up.

"I love Jenna, and I at least want to be friends with her," explained Balto.

"Very well, you are my brother and like a husky, but your welcomed here anytime," smiled Palo.

The next day balto made it to nome, he was very worried. What did jenna tell Sylvie and Dixie her two best friends and the most gossiping dogs in nome! He was worried that what dogs would still be his friends, or what children would want to be near him? He just couldn't think of it.
     Balto came out of the forest, making sure that Jenna was no where to be seen, or Steele. Balto went stright to his boat, and saw Boris mopping the boat, again.

"Hi," said Balto.

Boris turned around and said nothing just kept on mopping, " Boris? What are you mad at me too? Please listen to my story, please!"

Boris stopped mopping and looked like he was thinking, " Fine Balto, but it better be very vood."

Boris sat down and then looked up at Balto and nodded his head.

" See, if you heard I had a mate before Jenna, but I was forced to be mated with her or I would have to leave the pack. When we got to be mates she always wanted pups at are teen age, but i always said no. She got really upset about it that she started to beat me up, and I was weak against her since i'm only part wolf. One day I had to breed with her or she would of killed, me, and I always told my brother that stuff, and he didn't really belive. Then one day he saw me getting beatin' and he attacked that nasty wolf and she fell into the river we were next to," explained Balto.

Boris was quit for a little bit but then he smiled, " I belive vou boy chick, but what was that nasty wolf's name?"

" Quwelia (Ku-ell-e-a)'' said Balto shivering at that name.

"Look, Balto, I know you still love Jenna, but well she is vith steele, and i haven't seen her for about vree weeks," said Boris.

"I may still love, but i some how have to move on," frown Balto.

Balto jumped of the boat to go into to nome to see some of his children. He knows he may be made font of or beaten, but he still has children from Jenna. While Balto was walking up the street no one was on them, exept a little puppy walking around nome with no one. Balto was a little shocked becuase the pup looked exactly like Jenna!

"Um, miss, what are you doing along, you only look three weeks old," said balto going up to the pup.

"I went to explore, but now i can't find my home," sobbed the pup.

"Shhh, tell me your name and who ur parents are,' smiled Balto.

"My name is Rachel and my parents are Jenna and Steele," said Rachel calming down.

Balto was suprised about this, but he would rather help Rachel out then just see her misrable.

"This way, she lives near me," smiled Balto.

"Ok," smiled Rachel.

Balto was walking fast and she was running, she was pretty fast for her age, maby she got some of Steeles speed. Balto was glad that this pup didn't care about his wolf side, or did she know? Balto was almost at the house, he wanted to be friends with Rachel, but new Steele would never alow it. Balto frowned, how could he make his friends become his friends again when Steele is around?

"Well heres your house," said Balto.

"Mama said never scratch on a door, but ring the door bell," smiled Rachel thinking that she was really smart.

"Then I guess i'll have to ring the door bell," smiled balto ringing the door bell. After a while nobody answered so I guess that they were looking for Rachel.

"Their prabably looking for you, why don't you come to my baot?" asked Balto.

"I don't now, Mom says never go to a stangers house," said Rachel stepping back.

"Don't worry, i'm Balto, an old friend of your mothers," smiled Balto, well maby I shouldn't smile said balto putting his mouth into a panting form.

"Well, since you are an old friend, then ok," smiled Rachel skipping to a baot, which surpriseingly was the right one.

     Balto sat at his boat, watching Rachel and Jenna's house when she came home so he could bring Rachel home, when they are there.

"Balto?" asked Rachel.

"Ya Rachel," asked Balto.

"I want to go to the beach, mom and dad never let me because they were afriad that a wolf would one day come and eat me up," frowned Rachel.

"Do you believe that wolves are evil?" asked Balto, also frowning.

"No not really, I mean you look like your half wolf, but you were nice to me," smiled Rachel.

"Ok, and I am half wolf, so come on to the beach," smiled Balto trotting away with Rachel at his heals runnning.

"Looks like you could run really fast!" laughed balto going a little faster.

"I got my Daddy's speed," smiled Rachel also going a lot faster!

Balto flinched at that word. He also ran into the water and started to splash Rachel, but then he was nocked of the ground and heard Rachel scream. He looked up and saw a black and white husky, he new that it was Steele just protecting his daughter from him.

"Balto, what are you doing with my doghter! Why did you steal her," growled Steele.

Balto got up, but he was still weak, he never hunting or did anything.

"Well i'm waiting for an answer wolf-dog!" growled Steele.

"I was just taking her home, but you weren't there, and plus I just came back like 20 miinutes ago," frowned Balto.

Steele stepped forward and hit Balto in the side of his head.

"DAD! DON'T DO THAT TO BALTO!" growled Rachel.

Balto looked at Rachel trying to get out of Jenna's grip.

"Steele, stop, " growled Jenna.

Steele looked at Jenna syprised that she was standing up for Balto.

"There's no use, he's a worthless mutt," smirked Jenna, but Balto could see that she still cared for him.

"You're right!" laughed Steele running towards Jenna's house!.

"No mamma, I want to stay here with Uncle Balto!" said Rachel slipping out of Jenna's grip and running behind Balto.

"Rachel Dear, you can't. He's mean and grumpy!" said Jenna in a sturn vioce.

"No he's not, he is nice!" yelled Rachel.

Balto chuckled. Rachel sure got her attitude from Jenna.

Jenna looked at him in a mad face.

"Ummm, Rachel, go back with your mother. You belong to her,"said Balto turning around to Rachel.

"No, I wanna stay here. Your nicer than daddy," frowned Rachel makeing puppy dogs eyes.

"You need your mother, you can't live without her. You'll see me around town," said Balto.

"But, Uncle Balto," whined Rachel.

"When your older you could see me more," whispered Balto pushing Rachel towards Jenna, " For now, live with your family."

"Ok," sighed Rachel walking towards Jenna.

Balto watched Rachel and Jenna walk home. He sure missed Jenna, he really wished that he hadn't told her about his past.

     Balto ate the rabbit that he had coaght. He was going to Kodi's house today to see if they were ok. He was really worried that he would get yelled at by is son.
      Soon Balto was at Kodi's house. He was nervious. Balto nocked on the door and Dusty opened the door.

"Balto?!" said Dusty in surprise.

"Umm, uh hi, is Kodi here?" asked Balto.

"Ya, sure, letme go get him," said Dusty getting Kodi.

"What do you want?" asked Kodi in a rude vioce.

"I don't blame you being mad at m, but please just listen to me! When your mother and I were mates, I didn't have another mate, and I still don't, I never really did!" explained Balto.

"I'm kinda confused, 'You never REALLY did?" asked Kodi.

"I had one, but that was by forced, not love. I was a teen, and I had no choice or I would be kicked out of that pack," said Balto.

"Sooo what happended to her?" asked Kodi.

"Dead, and I am glad," sighed Balto.

"Glad?" asked Kodi.

"She hated me, tried to kill me a lot," said Balto, " So do you trust me?"
