SUMMARY: Its been a day, Balto and Jenna haven't gotten very far. Seth and Balto have been getting along great. Jenna and Ben are so attached to each other. Ben has a slight crush on Jenna. But all Jenna about love, is Balto. THE REAL DEAL: Jenna was in a forest place that she has never seen of or heard of. (The one that Balto was in but she doesn't know that) "Wow! What is this place?" Jenna asked. Jenna's leg had healed incrediably quick. Ben just stared a the amazing place in shock. "I've heard of this place before! I think its called the mysterious sunny place. Its called that because all there is, is sun. It never has snow, or rain." Ben looked at Jenna. He really did feel sorry for Jenna. And Balto too. ~Meanwhiel~ Seth stopped because his head was hurting. "Whats wroong Seth?" Balto asked walking up to him. "I don't know, I think I'm getting something here," a few minutes later Seth just blurted something out. "Balto! Jenna's at the sunshine forest where we were at an hour ago!" Seth started to run the other way with Balto close behind. After about 45 minutes they finally reached the sunshine forest. Balto instantly saw Jenna, and even though he was out of breath he was still running towards her. Jenna heard someones foot steps and she turned around, "BALTO!" she yelled. "JENNA!" he yelled back. They ran up to eachother and nuzzled. Ben was just standing there in shock at Balto. 'Wow! Balto has changed so much, since the last I've seen him!'. "Uh.... hey Balto!" Ben sayed hoping Balto would notice him. Balto turned around and just stared at Ben. "Wow! Ben! You have changed so much!!" Balto blurted out after a couple minutes of staring. "Yeah, you too," Ben replied. Seth was smiling but inside he just wanted to run away and laugh at Balto for thinking that they are friends. But instead he just stood there. "Balto?" Seth asked. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry Seth um. Jenna this is Seth and Seth this is Jenna." Balto introduced them to each other. Balto wanted to nuzzle Jenna again but Jenna seemed lost in Seth's eyes. Balto was becoming jelous of Seth. He was jelous because Jenna would never ever stare at him like that. And the way Jenna was staring, it looked like love at first sight. "Well, Jenna, Seth now that you guys have met.. do you want to go home Jenna?" Jenna looked at Balto in a sad face. Jenna was about to speak and reject but then Seth interrupted. "You know, you guys can stay at my place then maybe in a couple of days you can go home?" Seth suggested. Balto was just going to say no but then Jenna gave him her look that gets her everything she wants. "Sure Seth. Of course we will stay. Besides you are one of my best friends." Jenna smiled at Balto. Seth was smiling too but inside he was furious. He did not want Balto saying that they were best friends. Seth has never even liked Balto. But Jenna, he felt as if they could be together and have pups. "Uh... guys I think there's another storm coming," Ben sayed looking up at the sky and the grey clouds. Sure enough Jenna felt a rain drop hit her nose. "Run for it, and follow me" Seth yelled. Balto was running right beside Jenna, he did not want to lose her again. About 15 minutes later they came up to a small shack. The rain was pouring and everyone was soaking wet. "I don't live with anyone, I'm all alone, I don't even have an owner," Seth bragged. Once inside everyone just looked at the room. From outside it looked small and not cozy, and cold. But once they were inside it was really warm, nice and cozy, and it was pretty big. "Wow this is pretty nice," Jenna said not shivering anymore. "Thanks, it took me awhile to make it feel like home." About 5 minutes later everyone was laying down in a circle talking. Except for Ben, he was thinkiing to much of his parents, and Jenna. Over the time Ben actually fell in love with Jenna. But Jenna probably doesn't know he even exists. Ben sighed. Everyone was talking about where they live until Jenna brought up the weirdest topic any one could ever think of. Ben thought the topic was weird. "So, uh Seth. How come you live alone and don't have an owner?" Jenna was feeling nervous for asking becuase Seth looks like the person to get mad easy. "Well it all started when my owner tied me up with a rope to a tree, but I bit through it and ran away. I ran away, because he would always hit me and never give me food, only when he is going away for a couple of days, wich wasn't very often. So I kept running and I guess I just ended up here in this place." Seth explained. Jenna could see bristels of tears forming in Seth's eyes. "Wow, I'm sorry..." Jenna said, feeling really sorry for him. Jenna was beginning to have feelings for Seth adn she was getting a little tired of Balto. Once again Jenna was lost in Seth's eyes. But she seemed to not care that Balto was watching her. Balto looked outside as the soft fluffy snow, was falling down. Covering the ground like a pure white blanket. Balto sighed. He looked over at Jenna and Seth. They weren't staring at eachother anymore, but they were flirting. Some how Balto couldn't understand a word they were saying. So he just kept watchng the snow fall from the sky. Ben could tell how jelous and upset Balto was. So he went over to comfort him. "Hey Balto," They both sighed at the same time. "Do you want to go outside for a sec? I have something really important to tell you," Balto smiled ar Ben. He knew he could trust him, and Ben will always be there for him. "Me and Balto are going outside for a minute okay?" Ben practically yelled at them, but they didn't hear. Seth heard but wasn't paying attention. Balto walked out the door with Ben close behind. Once outside. "So what is it that your going to tell me?" Ben asked. The breeze was very cold, it was brushing through Ben's soft white and black fur. "Well its about Jenna." Balto took a deep breathe and began to dump all of his feelings out on Ben. "I thought that me and Jenna were... something. But ti turns out were not. I mean ever since I met her, I knew it was love at first sight." Ben could see tears slowly forming in his eyes. "Jenna has always been there for me, I always thought something like this would happen but I never knew it would come true. I guess I was wrong. I'm wrong at everything. I always try to do the right thing, but it always gets worse. Every time thats happened. Jenna has always been there for me. Maybe I should just leave Jenna," Balto now couldn't stop crying. "Balto, you can't just leave Jenna like that. She has faith in you. But I think you just don't see it. Every one has faith in you. But your to bust thinking about yourself to even realize that its not all about you and Jenna. I mean she can have guy friends, they don't all have to be girls. But for your sake she has noe friedns, because your too pretectave and always think that they would fall in love and you wouldn't get what you want. But you know what... grow up! Not everything is about you." with that Ben just turned around and walked straight back inside. When he was inside he could see that Jenna was up at the window and she heard everything. Jenna was crying her eyes out. She never knew someone would stand up for her like that. About an hour later. Seth was asleep and Balto was too. It was just Ben adn Jenna laying there wide awake. "Ben...I want to thank you..for when you stood up to me like that." Jenna smiled at Ben. "It was the least I could do." Ben smiled back. "Well we should get some sleep, I'm pretty tired myslef." Jenna said closing her eyes. "Agreed,". The morning came pretty fast. The sun was beaming through the broken window adn you could hear the birds chirping. Balto was outside sitting there thinking. Seth was watching Jenna wake up, and Ben well he was outside with Balto, but they weren't speaking to eachother. "Seth...whats going on with Balto? I mean he acts so different when I'm around you." Jenna said quitely. "He's just jelous of me because I'm better looking and I could have you as my mate right now," Seth grinned at Jenna. Jenna was obviously disgusted of the smile on Seth's face. "You know what Seth? How about you leave Balto alone! And were getting out of this place right now! Thats all you wanted with me! I thought you were nice, but no....you have to think that you are better than everybody else, and that you have the best looks in the world, but you know what! Your a filthy rotten backstabber, with no good looks! And beside Balto looks way better than you could ever look! Balto actually has a sense of humor, not like you who think that there better than everybody else. I mean serously have some respect for others." With that Jenna ran outside crying and nuzzled Balto. Balto was watching throuhg the window and heard everything Jenna said about him. "Jenna...I-....thank you so much for standing up for me, I never thouhgt anyone would ever do that." Balto smiled at Jenna. "Balto, I'm so sorry. I guess now I know why you are so pretectave." Jenna smiled back. "Come on lets go home you guys," Ben pitched in. The all got up and walked home.
