Ch.11:Ash's view,the river

   My ribs didn't hurt for the last few days."Man!I'm so tired my wings hurt & i haven't been flying!"said Cooro with his complaints he had been making up for the past 5 hours."If you make one more complaint,I'll hurt you so bad that it'll make this hike to the kingdom seem like heaven!!!"Okami theartened him.

   He kept quiet then.I heard rushing water near by.We ran to the river.It was at least 4 yards wide & 9 feet deep.Cooro was the first to get in.He took off the legeage & dove into the water."COLD!!!!"he yelled racing to the egea.He was really clean-even since he only got in for 7 seconds."The curent was super strong.Be very careful if you want to go in."

   I dove in the water next.The rush was so amazing,like I was being reborn.I gasped for air & swam to the egea with the best agility as I could do."Your turn,Okami,"I told her.She shivered in place with goose bumps forming."No,I'd rather be filthy!"she retorted.Cooro & I looked at one another with confustion.What did she have against rivers?

   The next day we had to cross the river.Luck for Okami there was a brigde near by.It looked old & ready to fall.Cooro went first jumping across like a rabbit.I walked next when he was safely on the other side.I walked normal & calm.Once on the other side, it was her turn.She walked slowly & cauition holding on to the rail.Then the horror started.The rail broke off & she was leaning on it too much & fell in.

   "Okami!!!"i dove into the water to save her.she screamed & then the water swallowed her up.I dove somemore to look for her but she was gone.Cooro helped me out & I cried in pain.My love,slipped away from my grasp.Was this how she felt when I fell?The horrorble stab in the chest?The new empty feeling?Was she really dead?
