Three Months Later..
The two packs were now complete as one. The pack worked together, hunted together, ate together and even played together. They acted as if their lives were never different and that they've been a whole pack for years and years. The only two that were still fueding was Waya and Zena. Truck was becoming a better Leader, Ayet was still there, she was one of the elderly wolves, the only one in the pack.
Waya walked over to Aiden, who was miraciously still in the pack along with Moose. She rubbed her head against him and he licked her ear. They began to playfight.
Zena sat by Truck, who was watching Waya and Aiden play. He was still spellbound by Waya. Zena growled at Waya for attracting Truck's attention and growled at Truck who didn't even take a second glance at her. Zena sighed and stood up shaking her fur.
It was about March and the weather already warming up, the snow melting. As Zena shook her gray fur, tufts of it flew into the air. She sniffed and walked off to talk to one of the wolves she had befriended in the ex-Hene pack.
Waya finally escaped her brother and she headed over to her den and layed in front of it. She scanned the valley and her eyes rested on Truck's figure, who was trying to not return her gaze. He's become a very handsome wolf. He's becoming a better leader and... she stopped her thoughts. She used to hate this wolf with a passion and now! She was seeming to becoming attracted by him. She growled at herself and layed her head down.
Truck finally looked at Waya as she layed her head down. He grinned, as if he was reading her thoughts. "What's so special about her, huh?" It was Zena's voice. Truck turned to look at the young female who was a year younger than he was. "Zena, me and Waya have known eachother since we were about..a year old. I have barely known you. I am sorry, but you're not changing my mind. I love Waya." he said to her. Zena growled and stomped off.
Truck turned away. Waya watched him leave. His muscles glistened in the sun above, they rippled under his coat. She sighed, then tore her gaze away. She bared her fangs and closed her eyes, to keep herself from watching him. Waya yawned and stood up. She shook her pelt, then spotted a familar grey wolf head her way, Zena. Her fangs bared a bit.
"May I help you, Zena?" Waya huffed.
"I want you to leave the pack and never to come back!" she snapped seriously.
"That ain't going to happen." Waya snorted. "If this is about Truck liking me, I'm sorry I cannot help it. If you want to blame, blame it on Truck for falling in love with me." she smirked, but in her head, she did not her to blame Truck for loving her because, there was a spark of likeness toward him.
Zena snarled and bared her fangs. Zena leaped at Waya, but she saw it comign and she turned over and grabbed Zena by the shoulder and threw to the ground. "I'm not leaving, Zena!!" she yelled and bared her fangs, then fled.
Zena would only from a fight she knew she couldn't win. She sighed and layed under a tree at the edge of the den site, she then saw Truck walk out past her. He paused and looked at her for a moment, then continued on through the den site.
Three weeks Later...
Waya was curled up inside her den. She sighed heavily, her eyes were slightly open, but they had tears. Ayet, her mother had passed on. Ayet was old and had been her time many months before. She stroked her head against a smooth rock. She glanced behind her. Truck stood at the entrance. She looked away, her ears low.
"I'm sorry about your mother, Waya. She was a good leader and a good pack member for her time. I'm sorry." he said, but did not enter her den.
Waya sighed and did not say a thing. Soon, the pack will have to have alpha female. She knew who Truck wanted. She closed her eyes. "Please, let me be alone." she said.
Truck nodded. "It may hurt now, but it'll get better." he said and walked off.
