I lay in my cave

I wait for you

Come to me

The thought of not seeing you

I cannot breath

Time stops

I feel like I am falling into a void

From which only you can halt my decent

I walk out of the cave

And into the forest

Your scent clings to the rocks and trees

I lay under a tree and slip into the comfort blackness

Of sleep.

As my body breathes easily

My spirit wanders

Looking for your warmth

The comforting beat of your heart

I am lost in your beauty

Your blue eyes like ice

Reflect my soul

To the moon above

I wake

Silver tears roll down my cheeks

I cry for you in the night

I will wait for you to find me
