"dad....anileu's not bad. she's really nice. please accept her, or else the pups." said jackal.

"I dont know if i will accept her or not."steele said angrily.

"then at least accept the pups" jackal begged

steele breathed out deepily and sighed.

"maybe....after i see them."steele said. He then turned around and walked away.

meanwhile at the wolf pack......

Anileu went into her den and lied down. As she got closer to having the pups, she was more tired. She didnt know how close she was, and she was extra tired today.

Aleu walked in, "are you ok?"

"y_yeah i guess so....im just REALLY tired"anileu said.

Aleu layed next to her daughter who was tired and overheated.

"why didn't you tell me about Jackal?" aleu asked

"I didnt know how long we'd be going out. I was afraid to tell anyone." anileu said.

"you could've tol......"aleu started.

Soulborne walked in and cutted her off.

"Why did you mate with that husky?!? I had a mate picked out for you who would be great to run the pack." Soulborne said

"i thought Anubis was going to take over the pack?" she said.

"he is...NOW. You need to talk to Kuru (the wolf who was going to be anileu's mate ) and tell him why." said Soulborne.

Aleu and Soulborne left and Kuru walked in.

"Hey Kuru." said anileu nicely.

"Dont pull that nice crap on me you slut!"kuru sanpped

anileu did not see a happy conversation coming.

"why did you mate with a D_O_G?!?" he asked angrily.

"because i loved him!'anileu told kuru

Jackal was on his way to see anileu while this conversation was going on.

"That's no reason!!!" kuru yelled.

Kuru walked up and slapped anileu across the face. She whined and whimpered some.

"your a pathetic example of a wolf."said kuru. He walked up to her and put his foot on her neck.

He was so strong and anileu was weak and didnt dare move.

"I should just kill you now." kuru said" i think i will"

anileu jumped up and kuru snapped at her. she tried to run to exit but he cut her off and cornered her. He bit her paw and then her stomach, risking the lives of her pups.

Out side of the den Jackal walked up to aleu and asked where anileu was. He heard Anileu yelping and ran to the den. Aleu and Soulborne were right behind him.

Jackal walked in and immediatly pounced on Kuru. Kuru fell on the ground. Jackal ran quickly to anileu....

"are you ok? is your stomach?"he asked quickly.

"yeah...im fine.....kuru bit my stomach once."she said

jackal nuzzled her.

Kuru got up and snuck behind Jackal. He bit the skin on Jackal's back hard and threw him across the den. Jackal yelled and yelped.

aleu ran for help back in town. she got Balto and Kodi.

Jackal got back up and bit Kuru's hind leg.He head butted Jackal in the ribs and into the wall. Jackal groaned and fell to the floor.

Luckily out in the woods was a hunter. It was Dusty's master. He saw balto and kodi coming and knew something was wrong. Kodi spotted him and barked and wallked towards the den.The hunter followed.

He saw Jackal on the ground and the angry kuru. He lifted his gun and shot kuru.

Anileu painfully stood up and limped over to Jackal. dusty's master had a snow machine with a trailor to put his catch in. He carried Jackal to it so he could take him into town. Balto and Kodi ran along with the machine, and Anileu rode with Jackal.

Later in town......

Jackal's owners had been notified and Jackal saw the vet. He then was taken home to reat and heal.

After the owners left Anileu walked through the pet door. she walked over to Jackal.

"Hey. Are you feeling any better?" she asked.

"now that your here, i feel a little bit better." he said weakily.

Anileu laughed and they nuzzled.

Steele walked in the room. anileu looked at the stong muscular husky and smiled scardley.

"Jackal... i guess you really do care about this mutt, i mean anileu, so i guess i could maybe accept her...but not balto, as much."steele said.

"thanks dad" jackal said and then smiled.

A few weeks later.......

anileu had been accepted, and now was allowed to stay with jackal at night at HIS house. anileu was due to have her pups and layed in her OWN bed most of the time, so she would be ready.

This day sheila thought WAS the day. Anileu didn't feel normal and was breathing different.

"dont worry, youll be fine."she said happily.

steele was chosen to go get balto and jenna and aleu. He didnt want to go get balto and aleu, but he had to.

he already had jenna and went to balto's boat to get him and aleu since aleu spent the night there.

"Balto!!!" steele yelled unhappily.

Balto and aleu came out. what's going on? why is jenna with STEELE? Balto thought.

"what's going on?" balto asked.

"anileu's having her pups!" jenna said

They both ran down to jenna and steele and left to the house.

at steele's and jackal's.......

The four of them walked in and went over to Anileu who had her pups.

There were only two pups. Two were killed in the fight with Kuru.

They were twins. A boy and a girl. They were both balck and whie with brown markings. The boy had more brown than the girl.

everyone was happy and approved of each other, except for balto and steele.
