Moon walked though her forest home. she walked by everyone in her pack it was her and her brother ceromony they were best friends. Their parents sunset and deep shadows were waiting at the end of the long lain. ''You ready to be the future pack leaders bro?'' moon asked sun. ''I think so sis........just promise me one special thing you''ll never leave my side''. ''The only thing that could seperate us is if i died!'' moon said hugging her brother.''welcome the futer leaders of the Spirit runners!!!'' sunset announced. everyone began howling. The in-seprable siblings walked down the long lain on one side was all the females including some of moons sisters such as freedom, candace, and night breeze.
On suns side there were all the males of the pack including his brothers Mikey, brandon and whip snap.As they got to the end of the lain were they reached their parents they bowed showing respect and honer. ''Welcome my pups you two were chosen out of the male side and the female side.'' sunset announced both her and her mate got higher they sat on a higher rock and they announced more. ''You two both are the strongest.... you both fought for rank and won!'' deep shadows announced. Everyone barked and howled with excitment!!
''But as every good parent knows at some point there is an end to the long journey of pup-hood and this is the end of the road my dears.'' sunset said with tears in her buetiful crystal blue eyes. ''The end has come as we all know but, with ending your pup-hood has a great gift.'' Deep shadows said looking at his pups and looked into their eyes his eyes glowing like great orange crystals.''my pups'' he said whiping the tears of joy off his mates eyes.
'' You will have the great power of becoming alphas of this pack.'' shadow said. '' my darling pups your father is right but with that power the two of you will be able to have mates of your own'' sunset said looking deep into the eyes of her children.My pups the battle of rank can be fierce and bloody....'' sunset said looking at her paws. ''shes right.'' deep shadows said wrapping his tail around his mate.'' You must be careful to choose the right mate and take the right path for life you may never find a mate.....'' shadow continued. ''yes but father how can we both have mates and familys because as i have heard from two whise wolves that only one wolf may have a family and a mate ?'' moon said looking at her parents with her deep sparkling purple eyes. ''yes tell us my parents we would like to know.'' sun said looking at his sister with his sparkling green eyes that lit up any dark day.
''well my dear children you may fight or choose who will be leader once you find the special someone.'' sunset said kissing her mate. ''yes mother'' both of them said. ''Now everyone'' deep shadows announced loudly. ''even tho the second litter and the 3rd one of the first litter didnt win both me and your mother would like our dear pups to all know!!....'' deep shadows announced looking at his pups only. ''You all will be stars , legends, and buetys to us!!'' both sunset and deep shadows yelled with great pride.All the pups smiled and barked. the whole pack barked and cheered.
''All my dear pups please rise.'' sunset said. they all did including moon and sun. ''now come to us my, pups shall be given the power of high rank.'' sunset said kissing everyone of her pups deep shadows did the same.'' Now!'' deep shadows barked getting everyones great attention. ''The moment we have all been waiting for the ranking!!'' deep shadows barked everyone cheered and then settled down. the alphas gave each of their pups their ranking spot in the pack. As they reached the two eldest pups sun and moon they stopped. ''My pups as you know you will be future alphas but until then you get the power of becoming great guards'' deep shadows announced (guards are the highest rank in their pack right under the alphas).''Whoa!!'' both siblings said at the same time.
That night......''hey....hey...hey sun you hear that?'' moon whispered at her brother as he was half asleep inside their den ''No i don't! got to sleep already!'' sun yelled putting a large leaf over his ears.''NO'' moon yelled in a whispered tone. She then tip toed out of the large cave also known as the alphas den or the lunar cave. ''I know theres someone out here'' moon growled seeing the bush move at that moment she saw a tiny wolf like shadow jump out ''AHHH!!!!'' the shadow yelled. ''GOTCHA!'' moon yelled, the wolf turned around and jumped over the bush she began bolting towards the forest of fears. Moon didnt notice she was about to enter the lands of the lost the land of animal legends and creatures and deep dark shadows.
The wolf swurved thought the trees quickly moon was hot on her tail she gracefully weaved thought the trees here purple fur on her toes, her back and down her her snout were glowing her purple eyes were two she lit up the night just as the moon would. She finally cought up with the with the shadow but when she pounced, it jumped down into a tiny hole. ''Hey?!'' she barked ''That wasnt a wolf!!'' she barked at herself ''It was a fox!'' she said laughing ''sorry little guy'' she said as the baby fox poked its head out ''i thought you were an intrueder '' she said nudging the fox.
''its ok'' the little fox said. ''but wait....'' moon said confused how come you looked so big if your so tiny?'' moon wondered. At that moment the fox gasped and then slid down into its hole ''AHHH!!!'' moon screamed as she turned around and saw a ghost like creature she ran as far away as she could she extended her claws and jumped onto a tree her paws and claws dug deep into the tree she fell asleep.
The next morning.....
sun got up and stretched ''Morning sister ready to go out on our first day of the new job?'' sun said yawning he then opened his eyes and noticed moon wasnt there. He got up and ran out side ''WHAT!?'' he yelled. ''Were did you go!?'' he barked. ''MOM!!'' ''DAD!!'' he screemed as he ran inside the cave it echoing thought the cave waking everyone up ''moons gone!!'' ''shes gone!'' he yelled at his parents as the jumped up from a deep sleep. ''What?'' sunset said. ''Shes gone missing! Moons gone missing!'' he yelled. ''WHAT!'' both sunset and deep shadows yelled everyone jumped up and were worried.
As everyone searched thought their forest. Sun stopped right before he headed into the forest of fears. ''Oh no....'' he said and sighed he then took a deep breath and howled. It made the pack sit right behind him sunset and deep shadows gasped. ''Guys.......i belive.....moons gone in the forest of fears.'' sun said looking down at his feet.'' good ridens that piece of garbage is hopefully out of his life!'' jessy said a wolf that admired sun.''Then we must go in.'' sunset said walking thought the crowd and sitting next to her son.''i suppose we have to if we want her back'' deep shadows said doing the same thing. ''but....'' sun said looking at his parents ''no..no i guess your right i want my sister back!'' he barked and he then sniffed the air and bolted into the dreary forest.The pack followed behind. Sun saw the same ghost like figure that moon had seen everyone screemed ''AHHHHH!!!'' and ran. They all jumped over logs and ledges.
Deep into the forest..... ''oh man'' moon said holding her head. The sun was covered by clouds the moon overlapped it ''Its like i was made for this place'' Moon said now feeling comfterable here she then saw that ghost figure again. But this time she looked at all its details this was no ghost it was a wolf! ''Well hi there'' she said smiling and sitting next to it as it drank. ''Well hello'' the wolf said in a male voice he raised his head. ''OH MY!'' moon yelled and stepped back ''your...your...your'' she stuttered ''Yes i know im the moon king'' the male said ''Please dont fear me everyone seems to hate me because im black and in all the fairy tails that your parents may have told you that arent true....'' the male said. ''Im sorry for being so shocked like i am but WHOA!'' moon laughed ''so.....were both preety much made for this place arent we?'' the king said ''yeah'' moon said just staring into his large red eyes.
''But anyways whats your name my dear?'' the king asked.''Moon'' Moon said laying down next to the king ''and yours?'' moon asked lapping up water. ''Blood'' he said accidentally putting his paw on hers ''i like that'' Moon said she then gasped quietlly as he put his paw on hers she then smiled and put her head on the ground.But within seconds the small moment was ruined!
Moons pack was barking and running towards them ''RUN!'' moon yelled ''come on Blood!'' she barked. They ran and wouldnt stop running until they hit a cliff. ''Moon'' Blood said.''yes Blood?'' Moon asked ''get on'' he said picking her up and throwing her softly on his back. ''Hold on tight!'' he said he then backed up far and then ran and jumped over the cliff.
