Family Dog
Abby almost allowed her son Arnold to aquire an Affenpinscher,
but Arnold's bad brother, Bobby, bellowed and barfed barbericaly.
Bobby craved a chihuahua's cute cuddliness.
Arnold and Bobby drstically dualed to the death.
Enormas, excruciating, exasperation, enabled Abby to
finally fix fond friendships between Arnold and Bobby.
Abby guided the gullible geeks, gesturing, to the
Humane Hound Kennals. They all happily harmonized heroically and
invest in their new incrediable, idyllic, immaculate, inquisitive Irish terrior.
The Empty-Headed Dog
I owned a dog with an empty head,
“It will never learn,” I said.
It loved to chase cars,
as if they were from Mars,
and now the poor thing is dead.
Puppy Vs. Snow
Bouncy with excitement, battling a frozen foe.
Now she is tumbling softly in the crisp, flaky snow.
Her defense falters, she slips into the slush.
Wet, dreary, and exhausted, the snow has won.
Pooped and defeated; wearily she treads back home.
Paw, scratch; she tells me she has returned.
My dog, a cutie, wags her tail as I dry her off.
After snoozing and eating she is refreshed, ready to conquer her enemy.
Snow, fur, flying in an unstoppable, frenzied battle.
Never, ever lazy in her efforts.
Unforeseen, she envies her rival's cleverness.
Border collie puppy and snow, cuaght in an everlasting war of fun.
One Stray Dog
Once solitary,
No one to love it,
Empty life.
Stinky and smelly,
Tarnished and beaten,
Raggedy and starved.
Although all this, it is
Yet extremely passionate.
Danger passes, finally safe at a new home.
Owner it now has,
Grateful to be loved.
