Nightwing lied down watching the sunset rise beneath the forest, all of a sudden every thing went black and she didn't see anything, she didn't even hear anything.

"Stop pacing Dingo," sighed Balto.

"Dad, Nightwing never has been late!" snapped Dingo.

"She's probably on her way by now," siad Balto.

Just then they heard a worried howl coming far into he woods.

"NIGHTWING!" howled Dingo running towards the sound.

When Nightwing woke up she saw nothing but darkness and soon everything came clear. She was in a big cave and there was some light at the top of the cave. She started to creep forward when something blocked her way. Nightwing looked up and saw Lizardeyes standing there infront of her.

"Were have you been?" growled Lizardeyes.

"What do you care?'' growled Nightwing.

"You were my apprentice, and you ran of after the naming ceramony! All the clan has right to now where you were!" snapped Lizardeyes.

"I will not tell you were I was," challenged Nightwing.

"Then you shall talk to your very own father about it! He wants to see you, come on," said Lizardeyes not looking if she was fallowing, which she was.

Nightwing didn't care how much her father yelled at her she would rather be with Balto and Dingo instead of her own family! When they went across the field all of the wolves looked really suprised to see Nightwing coming out of nowhere. She saw some wolvse look around her suspically.

"Go in Nightwing," growled Lizardeyes.

Before Nightwing went in she saw her bestest friend in the world, Crystalclaw. Nightwing looked in a face that was mad and sad at the same time.

Nightwing went in and saw her father eating last bites of his rabbit he was eating.

" Where were you?" he asked with out looking up.

" I was no where were you should worry about," snapped Nightwing.

Muddmoon looked up, he had no experson on his face.

"Well then you don't have to say anything, you are going to pick out a mate out of five different wolves," said Muddmoon getting up.

"You said what?! I am not having a mate!" snapped Nightwing.

"Yes you are come on," growled Muddmoon.

Nightwing went out of the den and saw five wolves standing in a line.

"Nightwing all five of these wolves will tell you there names," explained Muddmoon.

The first one stepped up. He was a sylverish color with black ears tails and paws. He has hazel eyes. "My name is Asheyes."

The second one was brown and tan with golden brown eyes. "My name is Dustpaw."

Next came the third and he was a reddish tan and white with dark blue eyes. " My name is Firepool."

The forth one came up, he was black, tan and grey with brown eyes.  "My name is Cuagerclaw."

The last one stepped forward he was a brown black with a grey bottom and he had bright blue eyes. "My name is Weaselheart."

"So who will you pick?" asked Muddmoon.

"um, I do not now," said Nightwing.

"Then I will pick for you and I pick, you Firepool," said Muddmoon," Now you two go into the cave," Muddmoon pushed Nightwing into the cave while Firepool fallowed.

Muddmoon left and left Nightwing alone with firepool.

"Well we should have some pups since we are mates," said Firepool.

"We are no such thing!" growled Nightwing.

"What your father even said that we are," explained Firepool.

"I don't care what my father said I do not love you," growled Nigthwing.

Firepool pushed nightwing down and was creeping forward to get on top of her when he got nocked down bye something.

"Stay away from her!"

Nightwing instaly new that it was Dingo.

Dingo and Firepool started to fight over her, " Nightwing get out NOW!" growled Nightwing.

Nightwing jumped out of the cave and ran stright for Metalsclaws cave. When she got there she heard some voices.

"Crystalclaw will you be my mate?"

"YES!" said Crystalclaw.

Night noticed that her brother asked her best friend to be his mate, she was so happy for them.

She came in and was panting hard she noticed that she had a big scratch doen her muzzle.

"NIGHTWING!" said Metalclaw imbarresed.

"I'm not mad at....... you i'm happy for you....... two." panted Nightwing.

"Why did you leave?" asked Crystalclaw.

"I have no time to explain, Metalclaw I want you to kill Firepool!" said Nightwing.

"What, he is my best friend!" growled Metalclaw, " plus he is your mate."

Nightwing jumped on Metalclaw,  " HE IS NO SUCH THING! I do not love him, at all, he is trying to kill my friend!" cryed Nghtwing.

"No affence, but you only had Crystalclaw and me," said Metalclaw.

" Not any more, please......."

"Are you alight Nightwing?"

"Dingo? Your alright, he was one of the best warriors!" said nightwing turning around seeing Dingo sitting right there.

"Not to me......."

" You are a dog," said Metalclaw jumping on Dingo.

"NO METALCLAW!" howled Nightwing.

Metalclaw stopped and saw Nightwing running towards Dingo, " Dingo are you ok?" askd Niightwing.

"Ya," answered Dingo.

" Are you telling me that that thing is your friend!" said Metalclaw.

"I've been living with his father," said Nightwing.

" You  have been staying with a dog!" said Crystalclaw.

"No of corse not, i've  been staying with a wolf/dog," said Nightwing, " Please don't say anything to father!"

"Ugh, how am I going to hide you two?" asked Metalclaw.

"You mean you are going to trust a DOG!" said Crystalclaw.

"I will have to for the night, and say you aren't going to tell my father," said Metalclaw.

"Fine, i won't has long as that.... THING, dosen't get close to me," said Crystalclaw.

"I won't," said Dingo.

Nightwing went to her father's cave and told him the  Firepool being attacked by a flea bitten animal. Then she went to her cave after checking on Dingo and metalclaw.

When the moon was still up Nightwing got up was going out of her cave.

"Nightwing,"

Nightwing saw Metalclaw standing there.

"What?" askd Nightwing.

"Dad came into my cave and saw Dingo, he though he was going to kill............" Metalclaw din't have time to finish because Nightwing got up and ran to her fathers cave. She saw Dingo laying on the floor bleeding, and her father was about to jump on him when Nightwing attacked her father!

"NIGHTWING! What are you doing, this is the animal that attacked Firepool!" said Muddmoon shcoked.

"You are NOT going to kill Dingo!" barked Nightwing.

Muddmoon looked shocked. The moon was fully up and everything was clear now.

"Have you been staying wiht this dog?" asked Muddmoon.

"No, I ahve been staying with his father!" said Nightwing standing over Dingo.

"Why have you been staying with dogs and not your own kind! That means my own daughter is a big fat dog loveing trader!"

" Dingo is a wolf/dog and so is his father!" snapped Nightwing.

"I don't want to heart you so you and that thing go home," snapped Muddmoon.

Nightwing picked up Dingo and Ran as fast as she could to Balto's house without looking back to see her father or anyone else that saw her. Nightwing was closer to Jenna's house so she went there.

"JENNA JENNA!" howled Nightwing.

Jenna stepped out of the house and saw Dingo on nightwings back and helped her get him inside the house. Nightwing never saw Jenna before, but she had heard about her, a nd she new enough that she would not heart her.

"What happened?" asked Jenna.

"He came to save me from my dad and my dad attacked him," explained Nightwing.

" Can you go get some water and a wag in the closet?" asked Jenna.

Nightwing got up and got the stuff.

Dingo had been staying with Jenna for three weeks and he was all better. Nightwing couldn't bare showing her face to anyone in the family so she found a nice safe cave to liv in for a whole month, and she stayed there not for one but three months.

Nightwing wanted to see Dingo so bad that she left the forest for the first time and went into town. She went to the mail station since Dingo worked for the mail team ith his bother kodi. She soon saw them coming, but she didn't see Dingo, but she saw a different dog in his place.

"Kodi, were is Dingo?" asked Nightwing.

Kodi looked shocked to see Nightwing but he answered," We haven't seen him since he was all better, two months ago, we asumed he was with you!"

Nightwing dashed of, she new the first place he would look is Thunder clan, or some what near that place. She waited until Night time to see Metalclaw.

"Metalclaw?" asked Nightwing.

"Nightwing what are you doing here?" asked metalclaw coming out of hi cave.

"Have you seen Dingo?" asked Nightwing.

"No, but dad has been leavingt he pack a lot latley, and he could be holding him as a prissoner," explained Metalclaw.

"I'm going to look for him," said nightwing.

"I'm coming with, and don't say no," said Metalclaw taking headstart.

They found her father's trial and it lead stright to a cave and two gaurds were eating  peace of meat. Then Dingo came out of a cave with Muddmoon biteing his tail. Then he lounged  for his throught!

"NOOOOOOOO!" said nightwing jumping out on her father again.

"Nightwing how did you find me here?'' asked Muddmoon.

"I came here to save my love!" snapped Nightwing.

"What, you can not have a dog as a love, you have to have Firepool!" said Muddmoon confused.

" Dad, why do you think i didn't want to chose any of those wolves at all!" snapped Nightwing.

Muddmoon jumped on Nightwing, Dingo tryed to stop him but he was really heart.

"I am going to kill you since you fell in love with a HUSKY!" barked Muddmoon.

"Then why aren't you died?" said Nightwing.

" What do you mean?" asked Muddmoon getting off of Nightwing.

" Since I stayed with Dingo and his family, no dog thought I was a wolf, they either said, " Dingo who is that dog, or who is that gourges husky! They all thought I was a dog, and not a wolf!" explained Nightwing.

"What does that have to do with any thing?" growled Muddmoon.

" I think that mother was a dog, oh, wait I made a mistake, I NOW she was  a Husky," explained Nightwing.

Muddmoon was shocked!
