Prologue-

   Balto died in a sled race.....of course.And Jenna killed herself when he was anounced dead.Everyone was devistated, the town's radiation blew away like ashes in the wind.Kodi was also devistated, until he met Eclipse during a race when she joined his team.They fell in love together and soon had puppies.He then had a dream about a she-wolf named Alaska.She resembled Jenna but black, and more radiating than her...amazingly its true, she was diferent than the other girls he knew too.She was all he could think abot and he loved her.....but one day he sees her in the forest.Will he go and see her and leave his friends and family for her, or will he try to forget her and keep on living his life.

   "Papa!Papa!" Sonya called out as he swated at his sister that had pinned him down.Kodi just laughed and nudged his daughter off who was chewing on his ear now."Papa!We were playing!" Raven whinned as she pawed Kodi's face playfully."Now, now sweety it is time for bed anyways, go into you'r cages and you'r father and I will come and tuck you two in ok?" Eclipse said calmly as she nudged her pups to their cages and kissed them goodnight.She then walked back to Kodi and nuzzled him lovingly, Kodi smiled at her and returned her nuzzle with a kiss."I love you" She whispered into his ear."I love you too." He replied as they walked to ther cage and fell asleep.

Kodi was running in the forest with a beautiful black female wolf that smelt of lunar flowers.They ran across the seasons, all of the steps were the same but the backgrounds changed from Winter to Fall to Spring to Summer and back again.It was so beautiful, but not anywhere close to the black she-wolf who then grasped his heart and demanding never to let go."What is you'r name? Asked the she-wolf as she ran faster and faster until the ground was a blur, as if she didn't want a answer, as if she didn't care.Kodi replied as he went faster as well "Kodi, my name is Kodi!" He called out as his legs went faster and faster, to catch up with her."Alaska, my name." She said without looking away from the ground below her.She seemed amazed by everything, like it was all new to her.She then stopped dead in her tracks and the fall leaves flew into the air and turned into snow as they floated down back to the ground.She turned to him and smiled like he has never seen a dog or wolf smile like before, it was like she put all of her soul in that smile, it seemed Kodi thought as he stared at her with his jaw open.He was half in shock because how strange she was and the other half is because how she radiated in the sun, her beauty almost shone in the light.Kodi just stared and she just smiled, she then got up and wrapped herself against his chest and Kodi layed down as she fell asleep on his side.He nuzzled her and licked her lovingly, it felt different, it felt better than when he licked Eclipse.He smiled and fell asleep on her head and she whispered four words "We shall meet again..."Then she dozed off into a deep sleep.Kodi's dream just stayed like that, the seasons changing as they slept together.It just stayed like that.

      "Wake up Kodi!" Eclipse whinned as she nuzzled him up.She nudged his sled racing halter towards him and smiled like she knew what was going to happen next."I am up, I am up!" Kodi snarled as he reached for his harness and pulled it on.

  "Kodi!C'mon!" Eclipse whimpered as she walked towards the sled.Kodi was still thinking about his dream, that dream.He looked as Eclipse and only saw Alaska's face and her ice blue eyes that were sharp but calm and smoothing at the same time, and her black coat shimmered like a ravens feather but better.She brought light everywhere she was.He then shook his head and saw his mate's face again, a normal Huskie black and white with dull brown eyes.He followed her and practiced with her and the sled team as he did every day.

     "Hey..Kodi!" Saka called out, Saka was the dog next to him, "Are we going to the feild by the forest today?" he asked as he got closer to him. Kodi looked over at Eclipse and then back at Saka "Ya!Of course....tell the guys..ok?" Kodi replied as he ran faster, his legs burned with pain as his muscles worked with all of their might.His legs didn't hurt in his dream he thought as he slowed to decrease the pain.The human that they called owner unhooked them and praised them for winning the race with steak for dinner.

  The team went to the most popular sled dog hang-out....the Forest Feild.The team, well besides Eclipse of course, went to the Forest Feild and wrestled and talked.Then they heard something in the bushes nearby.It was a voice, it said "Kodi!I came for you!" Kodi jumped back and sniffed the bushes, it smelled of lunar flowers!"Alaska?" He called out to the bushes as he looked back and saw that the team had left him.

Alaska walked out of the bushes and nuzzled Kodi's neck."Oh Kodi!I have missed you so mch!I had a dream of you, we were running threw the seasons at top speed and then we fell asleep together and I told you I would meet you again!And I did!" She said as he looked at her with awe."It is realy you isn't it?" Kodi asked as he nuzzled her back but then jerked his head back."What is it Kodi?" Alaska asked with a smile on her face still."Oh....I um...umm.....nothing." Kodi studdered as he continued to nuzzle her."Ok..." Alaska replied as her voice got lost into the wind that was picking up now.Kodi layed down and so did Alaska, she pressed her black back against his off-white and red stomache.They fell asleep like that.He awoke and he licked her face goodbye and cried on the way home.When he got there his face was stained and he was drowsy.The pups were jumping around him and Eclipse was nagging at him."SHUT UP!" Kodi snarled as he snapped at his mate's face."Wha-wha-what is wrong with you?" Eclipse snapped."I can't take this anymore Eclipse!You nagging me, the pups fightning!I am leaving!" Kodi screamed as he walked off."Wait!Please!Papa!We will be good!" The pups cried as tears painted their eyes, waching their father walk away because of them."Kodi!Please don't do this Kodi!Please!" Eclipse cried as she held her pups, and told them it wasn't their fault.

      Kodi ran off back to the forest to find Alaska waiting for him with a smile on her face "You came back, did you leave her?" She asked as she saw Kodi's expression on his face, he looked like he was about to cry because of what he just saw, what he just had to do.Alaska nudged him close to her and he then let outa sea of tears on her chest and she also cried on his back, because she didn't want him to be alone."I love you Alaska, and I always will." Kodi managed to queeze out of his tears."I love you too" Alaska replied as she wipped away his tears with a kiss.She stood up and led him into the place she called home...her den.They ate some deer together and then Alaska fell asleep on his chest again.

As they awoke roars and growls were heard.A mob of dogs and wolves had formed, the two stepped out "What?!" Kodi snapped, he already knew why they were there "A wolf anda dog?Pathetic!" A dog spat, eyes darting around nervously Alaska and Kodi raced off, the mob following.Kodi whimpered "We can't be together..." She admitted, she nodded.It had been three weeks since he had left Ecplise and they show  up now?Kodi kissed her one last time, before running off.Alaska held her stomach, muttering "But...the puppies." She walked for days, watching for any strange scents.She soon found a den with some light but enough room to hide.

   She fell asleep there, as she awoke Alaska felt a sharp and tense pain, she couldn't get rid of it..and she knew why.She soon gave birth to two puppies, both healthy.

    The one that looked like Kodi she named Kodan, he acted just like him, the girl that was silver with neon colors she named Tomoyo.The family was broken and not able to find much food..but they survived.She was forced to bring the pups on hunts and hide them while she was getting food.It was a difficult task but she managed.After two weeks the pups began to hunt small game "Momma!""Yes Tomoyo..." Tomoyo's blue eyes shifted to the left "Where is daddy?" She had heard about Kodi, and she wanted to meet him dearly "W-W-W...We are going to see him..." Tomoyo studdered, soon a loud noise was heard."Whats that noise mommy?" Kodan asked, Alaska grabbed the pups and ran.It was the mob.She placed the two pups under a sign that read Anchorage, the two pups cried, as did Alaska "I-I...Mommy loves you..." The pups nodded as the departed for the last time.Alaska ran away from the spot, the mob would kill the pups if they were able to.

Soon Alaska ran to the mountains nearby, they wound up and down, dead ends that never ended.Her leg began to burn badly, she had to slow..as the mob caught up with her she tried to run faster but she couldn't, it just hurt to much.Soon a sharp pain went threw her back.A male wolf had pounced on her, bringing her down."Take me!" She yelled, she couldn't take this much longer..soon the male had peirced his long sharp fangs into her neck, blood spilling "Goodnight...my love.." She whispered, the world fading away from her grasp...
