Silver Moon: " Mommy! Mommy! Help me! Please! AAAAHHHHH! (she cries)"

Island: " Leave her alone! Leave her!! Let her be! Get away you flea-bitten mangy bear! Get away! Monster!!""

Bear: " ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!!!!!!"

 Silver falls on the snow.

Island: " What did you do to her!? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!? BEAST! SAVAGE! MONSTER! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT THAT!"

Island: " (to Aniu) We'll help each other when we need it."

Aniu: " Deal."

  All those thoughts and more ran through her mind as she raced in the the forset looking for a place to think. Later, she's at a cliff looking at the moon, it's pretty close to the mountains.

Silver Moon: " (thinking) Bears, hunters, hounds, dogs, death, gunshots, hunger. Nothing but misery. Still, I went through all that when I was less than three weeks old. I also had my happy moments. surprising my parents with learning how to walk and talk. A nickname, a song, a game, finding friends. My life has been quite an adventure since the start. Is it like this with every canine? Maybe with Balto also. I wonder why he never told me this. Maybe he also forgot what happened. I guess it doesn't really matter. Of course it matters! I mean, he's Aniu's son! *sigh* Now is when I feel like talking to him. Then again, I have always been a little weird. Apologizing to a river.Miksa says it make's me look more cute.   She climbed down as thoughts poured into her mind. When almost at the boat, it's still early. But she sees a brown figure in the distance.

Silver Moon: " What's Balto doing at this hour?"

  She trots of and sees Balto.

Balto: " Silver, I wondered where you were."

Silver Moon: " What are you doing up this early?"

Balto: " I guess I got some of your extra energy."

Silver Moon: " Just like in old days."

Balto: " What'd you say?"

Silver Moon: " Nothing. Hey, Balto, can I talk to you?"

Balto: " Sure."

  Silver told him the whole story except that he was in the story too.

Balto: " So much happened before the accident."

Silver Moon: " Yes, and one more thing happened before I was born."

Balto: " What?"

Silver Moon: " You were born."

Balto: " Uh, I am older than you."

Silver Moon: " No, I mean. My mom was your mom's friend. We lived in the same pack. You were my first friend."

Balto: " You know, when I first saw you, I thought you looked familiar."

Silver Moon: " In the "I'm Aniu" sort of way or "I've met you before" way."

Silver Moon: " That's exactly what I thought too."

Balto: " Lots of stuff happens in life but, I never thought it'd be like this."

Silver Moon: " Neither do I. So, my mom and your mom made a promise that they'd meet each other again. Do you want to keep their promise?:

Balto: " Couldn't have it any other way."

         They walked into the boat as two comets flew by crossing each other under the moon.
