" Hey, Dad!" said Dingo.

"Yes?" said Balto. He was a Brown/grey and tan dog that had yellow/brown eyes.

"Dad can you do me a favor?" asked Dingo.

Balto looked up and saw Nightwing looking around, '' What's the favor?"

"Can Nightwing live with you for a while?' asked Dingo.

"Why?" asked Balto.

"I forget, ightwing why did you want to live with me?" asked Dingo loooking at nightwing.

"I have two reasons, my dad gave me the same name and He is very mean to me, alsot he whole pack, exept my brother and best friend," said Nightwing.

" Come on, no father could be that mad at his daughter," said Balto.

"How about this mad," siad Nightwing Holding up her tail which her ftaher bit from pulling her away from her friends.

Balto stared at the cut. He actully thought that fathers wouldn't do thatg to there child.

"Well, is it alright?" asked Dingo.

"Can you catch your own food?" asked Balto.

"Ya." said Nightwing.

"Then it's ok," smiled Balto.

"Thanks dad," smiled Dingo.

"Your welcome. Dingo how bout you take Nightwing around town to show her around and meet some friends," said Balto.

"That would be great," said Nightwing wagging her tial.

"Ok, come on Nightwing, let's go!" howled Dingo.

Dingo and Nightwing ran all around the town. Dingo stopped once in a while to show her places around the town. Soon they came to a mediam sized shed just outside of nome.

"This is the boiler room, were every dog in nome just hangs out with there friends, you want to go in?" asked Dingo.

"Are you sure, i mean i'm a wolf, that lived in a wolf clan, wouldn't they make fun of me?" asked Nightwing.

"Some of them might, but not my firends," explained Dingo.

"What do you mean not your friends?" asked Nighwing.

" You see I may not look like it, but i'm part wolf, and I have the heart like a wolf, i like to howl, hunt, but there is some husky in me, I mean i like to hang out with people, and I like to race on sled teams," explained Dingo.

"Really, i'm just a plain ol' wolf," sighed Nightwing," but i'm so different, my father never listens to me, and nobody else does exept my brother and my best friend."

They went inside and sat next to Kodi, Dusty Ralph, Kurby, and a new member of the team called Rusty.

"Hi, Dingo," said Kodi.

" Hi Kodi, this is Nighwing, she is living with dad, she ran away from her family, and don't ask questions about it," said Dingo looking at Nightwings face.

"Hi Nightwing, i'm Dusty and this is Ralph Kirby Rusty and my mate Kodi," smiled Dusty.

Ralph was a big grey giant husky.Kirby was a light brown giant husky. Nightwing thought that Kirby and Ralph were siblings.Then there was Rusty. He was a Grey red dog with kind but furious eyes.Then Dusty had grey brown fur and was mates with Kodi.Kodi was like Dingo exept had a white face and belly legs and he was a lighter red.

Nightwing had a good time a nd was thinking that she loved Dingo, but she new more that there was no way he would love a wolf that had a bad life and no friends, well one and her  brother.

Though Nightwing didn't now was that Dingo also loved her but new that her father would kill him the second he told her he liked her, and plus she wouldn't like a husky wolf thing like him would she?
