Sapphire looked out to sea and sighed, she was going to be 1 year old tomorrow and her mother Aleu had something important to tell her and her siblings. Saba padded up to Sapphire, "Sapphire remember when your mother brought me here and I had to hide a secret?" Sapphire nodded. "Well tomorrow you are going to find out what it is." Sapphire looked shocked, "well Aunt Saba could you give me a hint?" Saba shook her head, "sorry Sapphire." Saba said, Sapphire shrugged and went off to find her siblings, but when she found them  they all had mates. "Oh Sapphire." her sister Misty said, "I'd like to introduce you to Killer." Sapphire trembled, " Petal is the girl for me." Torch said nuzzling Petal, Ash looked at Sapphire, "Rose is my mate." Sapphire frowned and ran off.

As Sapphire ran from her siblings she banged into someone "oof" she said as she stumbled backwards, "Oh sorry errr." Sapphire giggled "I am Sapphire daughter of Aleu and Nightmare and no reason to apologies." The strange wolf nodded,  "Ok Sapphire I am Moon and the reason I banged into you was an accident but i was trying to get away from my wolf clan because they banished me so I am a rouge." Moon looked down at the floor tears in his eyes. "Oh don't cry Moon but who was your wolf clan leader and where are they?" Sapphire asked, "Well his name is Baltic he has a brother named Balto." Sapphire looked shocked, "Moon come with me now!" With that Sapphire ran off. Moon hesitated and ran after Sapphire as he ran he thought, I'll try and tell Sapphire how I feel about her soon, but when the right time comes, when they arrived back at Sapphires home Sapphire went straight to her mother and told her about Moon and the other wolf clan. As Aleu listened as soon as she finished Aleu said, " Sapphire go tell him he can live with us and that I'll sort this other wolf clan out. Oh and today I'll tell you the suprise." Sapphire nodded and went off to tell her siblings and get Moon. Sapphire found her siblings coming towards her with their mates, "hey Sapphire were is your mate?" Torch asked.
Sapphire frowned, "I'm right here." Moon said. Sapphire looked shocked. "Come on honey. Lets go." Sapphire nodded and walked away. "Sapphire I-" Moon began but he stopped, and saw Sapphire watching him, "No need." Sapphire said, "what you did was brave I love you." Moon looked stunned, "Sapphire I love you too." In the distance Torch was shocked and thought even though you looked shocked please try not to get pregnant. Too late passionate howls filled the night sky.
