It had been about 4 months since Twilight and Tessa had met Dash. They girls were mad at eachother since they both liked Dash. They didn't know what to do about it. And Tessa was being more stubborn than ever. She always wanted the guys and this one, she was determined to get. She followed him around and talked to him whenever she got the chance. She was determined to get Dash to like her and not Twilight. So that is why Tessa was so mad when she saw Twilight touching noses with Dash.

Tessa was walking to the beach with her friends, Sammie, Carla, Starry, and Freddy. Tessa was telling them about Dash when she stopped short. She was shocked to see what was infront of her. She shook her head, trying to get the sight out of the way. But it wouldn't leave. She saw, her sister, Twilight, and Dash touching noses. Sammie walked up to Tessa, and asked, "Is that him?" Tessa nodded, then she growled. The fur stood up on her back and she bared her fangs. Tessa's friends backed off, thinking this was the best thing to do.

Tessa started to walk towards them when Twilight glanced sideways and seen Tessa. She pulled away from Dash, embarrased. "Bye." She said quickly and ran away. Tessa looked shocked. She went back to her friends, who looked at Tessa, alittle frightened. Tessa laughed and told them that they didn't need to be afraid of her. They walked to the beach and lay down, talking.

When Twilight got home, she ran into her mother's open paws. "Mom!" Jenna looked at her and asked, "What happened Twi?" Jenna asked, comforting her daughter. Twilight stayed quiet for a minute before saying, "Nothing." She went away from her mother and up to her room to think.

Meanwhile, at the beach, Dash was swimming in the warm water. Tessa was staring at him as he dove beneath the water to catch a fish. When he came up from the water and swam over to shore, Sammie gently pushed Tessa over. "Go talk to him." She whispered. Tessa nodded and smiled at her friends loyalty and walked over to Dash. He shook his coat, spraying water on everything around him. Including Tessa.

Tessa cried out in shock from being hit by the water. Dash looked at her and looked worried. "Oops." He said. When he saw Tessa laugh, he laughed to. Tessa talked with Dash for a long while when finally, Freddy walked up to them. "Do you mind if I steal Tessa away from you for a sec?" He asked Dash. Dash didn't mind so Freddy took her and told her, "We have to go." Tessa looked at Freddy and replied, "Why?" Freddy gestured to the side. Tessa looked and saw her father, Balto staring at her. Tessa quickly told Dash that she had to go and ran off in the direction of her father.

Tessa walked with Balto home and they had a quiet dinner with Twilight and Jenna. Nobody spoke until Twilight finally said, "Mom? Dad? Can I ask you a question?" She felt silly asking if she could ask something since her mother and father told her that she could tell them everything. Jenna and Balto nodded and Twilight said, "I was wondering, you know Dash. The guy I told you about? He invited me to a party and I was wondering if I was allowed to go?" Jenna and Balto looked shocked then whispered to eachother. When they got back to the table, they nodded. Tessa couldn't believe her ears. Dash invited Twilight to a party! There was no way that Tessa was going to let Twilight go and not her.

"Mom. You shouldn't let Twilight go because she kissed Dash." Tessa blurted out. She looked at Twilight, a sly grin spread across her face. Jenna stared in disbelief at Twilight. Twilight turned red and explained. "I was at the beach and I swam really far out. Some seaweed caught my leg and was pulling me under the water to drown. I screamed for help and Dash came and saved me. He pulled me free from the seaweed and we tumbled ashore. I didn't kiss him because I like him, I kissed him because he saved my life." And Twilight's explaination was true too. Jenna and Balto believed her and they still let her go to the party.

This made Tessa even angrier. She thought, I can't believe that mom still lets Twilight go to the party! Tessa stormed angrily up the stairs to her room. She screamed and cried and wondered why Dash didn't invite HER to the party. Then she thought that it was because he liked Twilight and not her. Then the thought struck her. She remembered earlier when she saw Twilight and Dash kissing. Could Twilight's story be true? Or could she have lied? Tessa was determined to find out and she grumbled to herself as she fell asleep.

The next morning, Twilight awoke feeling happy and perky. For this was the day of Dash's party. Twilight lapped up some water and went into the living room to sit with her mother and father. "Mom? Dad?" Twilight asked. "Do you think Tessa is mad at me? I mean since Dash invited me to the party and not her? I mean, Tessa likes him to." Twilight looked at Jenna and Balto who replied together, "She may be mad but it is not your fault that, that boy invited you to his party and not Tessa. She can't punish you for something that you had no reason in happening." Twilight nodded and went to her room to think about what her parents had said.

Right when Twilight went up the stairs, Tessa came down them. She lapped up some water and told Balto and Jenna that she was going out. They didn't mind so Tessa went to the beach to meet with her friends.

At the beach, Dash was sitting, staring off into space. Tessa saw him and smiled to herself. She made sure that all her fur was patted into place and walked daintily over to him. "May I sit with you?" She asked him. Dash looked up at the dog who stood before him. "Sure." He smiled at Tessa's beauty. Then he wondered why Tessa and Twilight were such different colours if they were sisters. Twilight was white with black paws, ears, and snout. Tessa was black with a gray tail, and white paws.

The two sat quietly for several minutes before Tessa said, "So I hear Twilight is going to your party tonight." Dash looked at her. "Yea. How come you're not coming?" Tessa looked at him, wondering if this reply was what she thought it was. "You didn't invite me." Was Tessa's answer. Dash stared into Tessa's eyes. "I told Twilight to invite you too." Dash explained. A sly smile spread across Tessa's face. She thought, That little snitch. Tessa smiled at Dash then bolted off to home.

"Hey Twilight." She said. Twilight looked at Tessa. "Hey?" She said. "I was wondering why you didn't tell me that Dash invited ME too?" Tessa raised her eyebrows at Twilight. Dang! Busted! Twilight thought. "I ment to tell you about that." Twilight began. Tessa raised a paw to her face. "I don't want to hear it. Just be ready. Because at that party, I am going to get you back." Then she left the room to get ready for the party.

An hour later, Tessa and Twilight were standing infront of Dash's house. They heard loud noises coming from inside. They saw really pretty lights flashing in the house. Twilight knocked on the door and she and Tessa were soon standing in the beautiful room.

The sisters walked around, looking for Dash in particular. Tessa spied Dash's water bowl then looked at her sister. Twillight was wearing a really expensive bow and collar that she just got. Tessa got a brilliant plan to make a fool out of Twilight. She stuck out her foot and Twilight didn't see this so she went flying. She crashed into dogs and finally fell face first into Dash's water bowl. She sent water flying in all directions. She even got her bow and collar soaked.

Twilight could feel everyone looking at her. She ran towards the door but ran into Dash. Dash looked at her, confused. Twilight looked at him, then whispered, "Sorry." She dashed out the door, crying. 

When she got out the door, she said mean names to herself, "Klutz. Klutz. Klutzy Klutz Twilight!!" Twilight cried. She ran home, thinking that Tessa was having such a good time with Dash. With this thought, Twilight hid her head in her pillow, sobbing. An hour later, Balto walked in the room. "Hey Twilight. Are-are you okay?" Balto went over to his daughter and sat beside her.

Twilight looked at Balto then cried out the whole story. Just as she was finishing, Tessa walked into the room. She was glowing. When Twilight saw her, she turned her head. Balto glanced at the doorway, saw Tessa and left. Twilight looked back at the doorway and saw that Tessa was still standing there. Twilight narrowed her eyes and growled. In one swift movement, Twilight was ontop of Tessa, growling furiously.

Tessa had fright in her eyes as Twilight lunged for Tessa's front leg. Twilight grabbed it and pulled back, tearing some skin. Tessa cried out in pain but attacked back. Twilight and Tessa were in a fight that lasted about 20 minutes. Finally, they lay back, exhausted. They were both covered in blood. Twilight's beautiful white fur, now a deep red.

Tessa got up and limped to the doorway. She turned around and gave her sister a Look. Twilight returned it and then she limped past Tessa and down the stairs.

What's going to happen between these girls? Will Twilight try to kill her own sister? Or will Tessa try to kill Twilight? Either way, the girls don't realize that Dash wants to make his own decision. Find out what happens next, in Double Love Part 3.
