Once there was a Rainbow Wolf. Her name was Rainbow no surprise.
One day she was practicing her fighting.
'Arrghh!' Rainbow lunged at a rock. She hit her head on it. 'Ouch!'
'STILL practicing?' Rona walked up to her. Rona was a beautiful silver wolf.
'Yes.' Rainbow said rubbing her head.
'Rainbow you really need to take a break.' Rona walked over to Rainbow and licked her head.
'I will only come if the alpha wants me!' She broke away from Rona and looked at her baring her teeth.
'Rainbow! Never yell at the alpha or second in command!' Rona yelled at Rainbow.
'Never, Never, Never, thats ALL I ever hear.' Rona was always reminding Rainbow of the Panta Packs rules.
'Grrr!' Rona growled. She ran away to go tell the alpha.
Rainbow frowned. She got up and walked to the lake that separated from the Killer Pack. The Killer Pack were severe enemies to the Panta Pack.
Suddenly Duke from the Killer Pack burst out of the bushes and splashed into the deep river.
'What the!' She shook off the water that splashed on her. 'Duke!'
Duke swam up to the surface. 'Oh...' He dived into water so fast that he didn't see Rainbow on the other side. He jumped onto his side of the territory.
He shook off and looked scared. 'Sorry...'
Right then Rona and Essa (the alpha.) appeared.
'Rainbow! Talking with a member of the Killer Pack are you! I also heard you yelled at the second in command!'
'Sorry Essa...' Then she thought about what she said about talking with a member of the Killer Pack. 'I was not talking to Duke! He ran and jumped in the river!' Rainbow complained
'OK I will let you go this time but next time I wont! Now get to the pack grounds its time to feed the pups.'
Rainbow sulked off to the pack. Once she got there Blue, one of the pups greeted her with jumped on her and yelping 'Food, food, food!'
'Ok, Ok.' Rainbow threw up her food and fed the pup.
'Hey Rainbow.' Greeted Sam. Sam was a good friend of Rainbow.
'Oh hey Sam.' Rainbow said tiredly.
'Tired?' Asked Sam.
'Ya.' Rainbow walked to the den where all the pups and pack was sleeping. All the other pups ha already ate.
She walked over and cuddled up with the pack.
All the pack had a pup that were there responsibility. Kate was Rainbows pup.
Kate followed Rainbow and lied on her. They soon asleep. Sam was cave guard tonight so he didn't sleep.
Next Morning-
The next morning Rainbow woke up with a yawn. Kate and Rainbow got up and walked out to see Sam and all the other pack members awake.
They got in a circle to sing the morning howl and get ready for a hunt.
The pack started to howl a tune.
After song-
After the song they lined up for a hunt. They started out, down to the meadow where all the GREAT prey lived. Essa saw a big buck caribou that was big enough for the whole pack.
They got ready and on command Rainbow ran after it full speed. She bit at its legs and neck. The other pack mates did the same and finally brung it down. They all took a chunk and ate then went back to the pack.
Kate ran to Rainbow and begged for food. As Rainbow always did she threw up her food and fed Kate.
Kate went and played with the other pups, Blue, Sierra, Flossy, and Sitka. They loved to play together and were all best friends.
Kate and Sitka were playing together when Missie, a wolf from the pack came over to Kate.
'Kate, Rainbows sick.'
'What!' Kate said immediately stopping play.
'Cmon.' Missie led Kate to Rainbow who was laying down on a bed of leaves and twigs.
'Rainbow!' Kate shouted. She ran over to Rainbow and nuzzled her with her little nose. 'Whats wrong?'
'I'm sick.' Rainbow said slowly. 'But its not that bad.'
Kate turned to Missie who was the medicine wolf. 'Can I stay with her?!' She asked.
'Sure.' She turned to the pack. 'Who wants to feed Kate until Rainbow gets better?'
'I will.' Said Blue's mother, Kally called.
'Ok.'

Day by day Rainbow got better and on day 6 she fully rocovered and rusumed mothering Kate.
