Jamie (c.) me .... Blue Art~msw~{af}

Jamie a cute little husky pup walked out of her house. The cold tundra opened out in front of her house and other paces speckled over the land. Jamie was a black and white with a grey strip down her muzzle and back. Her father never really left their house. She had asked him befor and a he had said was that dogs around the town didn't like him even hearing his name made the dogs angry. After hearing that Jamie never asked him again and made sure not to say his name in front of any other dog. This day she was walking down the road no care really in her mind. She felt the cold wind ruffle her fur and sha gasped as she ran into a another pup. It was a white and red pup. He had a little tringle up his face and had brown eyes. She stared at him her heart pounding. He stood up and shock his fur. He looked at her with a smile and then walked past her. His fur met her slightly as he past. Jamie whiped aroud to see him trot off. She let out a sigh and walked on her mind buzzling with toughts. She went to her friends house and let out a small yep. A slender brown pup came out of the house.

"Jamie! Hi!" She ran out to her house.

"Hi Sadie." Jamie sat down her tail wagging.

"So why are you here Jamie? You don't come by here much." Sadie sat down eyeing her friend.

"I wanted to ask you something. You know like all the dogs in town so do you know who is a pup like us with red and white fur,brown eyes,and a a triangle up his face. Umm you know like Jenns he looks like her a lot!" Jamie said hopeing that Sadie wouldn't see her blushing.

"It sounds like Jenna's pup. Hmm it would be Kodi or Dingo. I'm pretty sure it's Dingo though, Why do you ask?" She Jumped up as her owner yelled from the door. "I got to go! Bye Jamie" She ran back into her house and the door closed behind her.

"Bye..." Jamie sat up and walked home.

Jamie left the house almost everyday and she saw Saba and Kodi but she never came across Dingo. She gave a sigh and sat next to Saba who was waiting outside of Rosie's house.

"Hi Saba" Jamie said coming up.

"Hi Jamie.....uh..." Saba said her feet moving on the ground.

"What is it." Jamie asked.

"It's just well your Steele's daughter i shouldn't really talk to you...." Saba said lowly and scampered into Rosie's house as the door opened.

Jamie's ears droped and she walked off with her tail down. She didn't know where her feet were taking her till she got there. she stood on a snowy hill side where broken bottles lay on the ground. She sniffed them but left and headed home.That night she sighed befor bed and her heart filled with dread.

"Will everyone see me only as my dad's son? Could Dingo ever see me as more?" She spoke lowly and fell into a sleep.

She woke the next day her feeling not very inproved. She didn't leave that day she sat at home playing with her dad. They had fun tussling. She let it slip out that she was feeling bad when they were rsting. She let out a gasp.

"Why are you sad? Tell me the truth!" He sat down looking at her.

"Well it's just well A pup said she couldn't talk to me because your my dad." She look at her paws. In her thought she didn't dare tell her father it was Saba ,Balto's daughter and would never tell him her feeling for Dingo.

Steele let out a growl. "Well that's horrible they are scum to blame you for my actions." He smiled at her. "Don't worry baby"

Jamie loked up and smiled. The next day she left she was surprised when her dad went with her. They walked down the road and Jamie's heart sank at the words of some dogs. They said thigs like "Leave you scum!" or "You how can you show your face here!?" Jamie didn't know what her dad had done but she didn't belive her dad was so bad as they said. Her dad didn't even seem as if he heared it. The made their way home but on the way they ran into Jenna and Balto. Jamie heared her dad let out a growl and she saw the her dad's eyes had pain in them. She cooked her head to the side then scamber after her dad as he walked on passing Jenna and Balto. She went to bed her mind wondering what would make the town hate her dad. She went on the next few days at home. Over year had passed from when she met Dingo. They had often met on the street but didn't talk much. She had found out about her dad but she didn't care she loved him. She had stayed friends with Sadie.

One day she stood at the side of the road watching the sled team leave to take mail to White Mountian. Kodi was in the front with Kirby. She watched them leave then went to find her little girl Sara. Her girl hugged her and patted hre then hooked her to the small sled they had. Jamie spent the day run over little hills out side her girls house. Then after she layed on the end of the bed and slept till dawn. The next day she left the house and was walking down the road like any other day. She saw Dingo walking toward her.

"Hi Dingo." She said.

"Hi Jamie!! How are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine you?" She asked back.

"I'm fine we should hang more often but i got to go now. Bye" He called running after his boy.

"Okay." Jamie said and walked on her mind and heart filling with old feelings.

She talked with him every day and she felt her heart drop when he told her that he was in love with Gigi a husky down the road. Jamie tried to be as friendly as she could but her heart sank and didn't feel like being his friend any more. Her mind kept playing the same thing. How could he not see it? That i LOVE him....That I want to be more then friends! That night her sleep was troubled and her heart felt broken. When she awoke it was still night. She looked around then heared a nosie at her house door. She slowly walked out to see Dingo siting on the steps.

"Dingo?" She asked sitting with him.

"I finally found out! I'm so dumb not to see it!" He said.

"What?" She asked.

"That I I love you! When I told you about Gigi I found out how much it hurt not to be with you all the time!" He told her his eyes locked into hers.

Jamie's face lit up. "I love you too Dingo!"

The next day they met in town and nuzzle and talked and laughed. At the middle of the day Jamie saw her day coming their way and balto coming their way from the other side. She saw how Both of the fathers faces went into shock. Then Balto noded at them showing that he was fine with it. Dingo let out a happy sigh but it fanished as he saw Steele wasn't going to let it happen.

"No way not with the likes of him Jamie!"Steele said pushing his daughter away.

Jamie couldn't do any thing. She slept by her window that night . Her heart hurt so bad and her mind couldn't leave dingo. She fell into sleep tears down her face. She woke in the night to see Dingo at the window standing on the roof. She heart felt as if it lept from her chest and she stuck her nose out the bit of window open. He rubed his nose with her and they talked and talked til dawn came and Dingo had to leave. Jamie tried t leave but when she made it to town her dad was waiting for her and sat with a stern face. Jamie's eyes filled with sorrow then anger.

"I love him daddy! You can't stop that!" and she lept away to find dingo but befor she could she felt her father's teeth sink in her scruff. She let out a yelp as her father yanked her back and JAmie went sliding in the snow. Her eyes were wide in fear.

"D-daddy! How could you do that!?" She gasped at him as she saw a few sticky red blood drop to the ground from her neck.

Her father looked at her his mouth open and his eyes clouded. "I-I don't know Jamie...I-I'm sorry!"

Jamie looked at him her eyes full of tears. "The other dogs were right! You are so horrible you would even attack your own daughter!" Jamie ran off her tears falling to the ground. Her father watched her go he sat there with some thing close to sorrow for the first time in his eyes. Steele finally felt repent of some thing he did.

JAmie had ran from here father and was now on the main road. She fell to the ground blood still gushing from her neck. Her strength felt drained and she watched the road her sight becoming blurry.She laid there while dogs passed. They never helped her though. JAmie gasped would she die from her father's ways and his bite to her neck that had torn far worse then the bite. Dingo was walking on the other side of the road unware of his love on the other side. Jamie picked her head up.

Jamie gasped out. "D-D-Din-go" She her head fell back down.

Dingo's eyes went wide in fear as he saw her. "Jaime! wha-what happened?" He ran to her and pressed himself against her.

Jamie looked up her eyes full of tears and let out in a raspy voice. "S-Ste-Steel-eele." Her body feel over shaking horribly. Dingo let out a growl of anger toward Stele even though he wasn't there.

Dingo ran to his boy and took his hat. The boy chased after him as Dingo lead him to Jamie. His boy seeing Jamie gasped and yeld for his dad how ran over and picked Jamie up. Jamie was rushed to the vet. Dingo sat out side waiting to see if she would make it........................
