Swifty looked as if he was stunned by the pack leader's command. Then Swifty looked at Angelstar and Calie they looked just as stunned. Swifty called to them "Come on." Calie and Angelstar came trotting over to him.

Calie was first to say anything to Swifty "Where are we going and who is Graythorn?"

Swifty looked at the young confuzzed pup "She is the mother of most of us but she also is the wolf who contains all of the medicanes for our pack."

This time Angelstar asked "Well why does she live so far away? Sick wolves wouldn't be able to travel far to get medicane."

"Well she doesn't live that far away. You will see soon enough young pups." Swifty said with confidence in his voice. "We shall get moving now."

At that moment Rayannstorm walked back in and said "I thought I told you to go to Graythorn?" She asked in a harsh voice.

Swifty looked up at her then started to walk off. Calie and Angelstar knew that they should follow him so they did.Angelstar looked back to see that rayannstorm was still standing there. The look on her face wasn't so friendly, but as soon as she saw Angelstar looking at her she quickly changed her expression.Angelstar then quikened her pace and ran into Calie who was right infront of her. They stumbbled and fell.

"Hey!" Calie exclaimed.

"S...S...Sorry." Angelstar stammered.

"What were you looking at?" Calie asked her.

"At Rayannstorm." She said as she figoued she could tell her friend.

"Why did you run into me then?" Calie asked.

Angelstar answered "She gave me a dirty look and then when she saw that I was looking at her she switched her face expression. It kinda scared me."

"Well maybe she was thinking about something bad and made her face exppresion bad too. Then she came back to reality and saw you and gave you a good look. Have you ever thought of that?" Calie was trying to sound like a good friend and be confident toward her friend.

"Well maybe, but I don't know" Angelstar said confuzzed.

Swifty was infront of them. He semed like he was listening to their conversation because he answered "She can be like that sometimes. She has had troubled thoughts latly." Swifty sounded as if he knew what he was talking about because he had a hint of satizfaction in his voice. Then he started to run, so the two girls started to run with him.

Angelstar ran up beside him and asked "Why did you start to run so fast?"

"Shhhhhhhhh..." Swifty insisted.Angelstar did as he said and fell in step beside Calie.

Calie asked "What is his problem?"

Angelstar said "I don't know but we better keep quite as he said. I think there is some thing bad about this place." She said while looking up at the trees. She looked a little scared. Then she looked st Calie and she looked just as scared.Swifty looked behind to see how the girls were.

Then he said in a very low voice "This is where the hunters hunt for their prey. That is why I told you to be quite so they won't hear us." Angelstar saw the look on his face as he glanced back at her. It was a look of terrer! Angelstar looked back as he called "RUN!!" She started to run as she heard loud sounds coming from the man. Then Calie started to fall behind so Angelstar slowed down too. She was not going to let Calie out of her sight again. Then suddenly Calie fell to the ground. Angelstar stopped and ran back but then Calie's body was gone and she saw Swifty's dark brown fur and ran toward it. She heard his voice then "Hurry up! Get up here and help me drag her body." Swifty demanded.

"Okay! Okay!" Angelstar said while running to them.When Angelstar got up to the top of the hill Swifty looked puzzled. Angelstar curious went up to him and looked down on her friend. She started to cry as she knew what was wrong. Her beloved friend was dead. Angelstar was so sad and she cryed and cryed. Swifty huged her tightly and let her cry on him. When it was morning they headed off, after buring Calie. Angelstar was still sad but kept up the pace. They walked and walked in silence for the rest of the journey to Graythorn's cave. When they got there Graythorn was nowhere to be found.
