him back to the ridge.

"Well look who's finally returned", one of the wolves spoke out, all the wolves stared at Aleu,

"I'm sorry for what happened today but none of you knew that other pack was there either", Aleu announced,

"actually I did know they were there", one wolf sniggered,

"then the blood of our brethren is on your paws", Keeko growled at the wolf defending Aleu,

"enough, we all need sleep now, what happened, happened and there's nothing we can do about it now, we'll mourn them and move on",

Aleu announced, all the wolves backed off but were'nt pleased, Aleu climbed up to her cave and lay down, Keeko followed her and stood

outside the entrance to see if Aleu would allow him to join her, she looked up at him and smiled, he smiled back and went into the cave

and lay down beside her, resting his head on her back,

"I'm glad you're here", Aleu whispered to him,

"I would'nt wanna be anywhere else in the world", he whispered back, he licked her ear and they curled up closer together and fell asleep.
