                              A young wolf woke a dim lite coming from the den opening....she could tell some one was crying. She stood up and walked out of the den ....her brown and cream fur flowed in the wind and her 5 star mark by her left eye was showing bright , her blue star band on her leg was bright in the sun and then her life began to fall out of her. Her mom was laying dead on the ground with her father Fire Star sitting by it and one of her younger brothers crying. It was Little Star a young all white with red paws.

"Wha-what's going on?!" Star Lite demanded.

"Star Lite , my poor Star Lite. Your mother  Gold Lite died by the force of a evil wolf. Dark Star!" A low growl sounded in Fire Star.

                             Star Lite cryed not able to stop herself. Her family was waking up and this would be a very sad day. Star Lite nuzzled her mothers cream fur for the last time then stood and took charge.

"Come little ones, come on." She said in a motherly tone as she pushed the crying pups away.

                             After the day had gone by Star Lite was thankful to be in her den with her den mates. She set her head down and looked at the mid-night sky from the place she was laying by the den opening. She sighed and let sleep take over but not befor she had promised her dead mom she would kill that scum of a star wolf  Dark Star. At the very name of him Star Lite's blood ran cold and she knew it would be a while befor she could have the power to kill him. She fell in to sleep. Her paws were in the soil of the wet earth. She looked up and a bright yellow light began to step toward her.

                           "Mom!" She yelled.

                            "Daughter. You must learn what is to be done. There is no time to Train. Dark Star took my power and he funs away to the town days away." Bright Lite began.

                            "Good! Don't let him come back." Spat Star Lite.

                             "NO! Think of the people and the dogs! He will hurt them. Then think of what people would say about us Star wolves. How could you let him hurt other? Star Lite you let him do this and your heart is darking as his did." Bright Lite spoke not with anger but understanding.

                         "I'm not trained! I don't even know how to control my own Lite!" Star Lite pleaded.

                             "You will learn on the many moon trip to find him but you must go today! I belive in you!" Bright Lite said as she began to fanish.

                            "No! Mom don't go!" Star Lite Yelled but she was falling into black nothing.

                          Star Lite woke up with at start looking around her.She looked around her and saw the cave walls. She gave a sigh and tryed to fall back into her sleep but it wouldn't happen.Knowing she would not fall back to sleep she stagered to her paws and walked out into the bright morning day. She drinked a bit of water then turned to follow the path to her father's den. She saw his den and her heart sank. Thinking to herself she said mom you must be wrong i can't leave!  But as she did her mother's voice came to her You  must Star Lite it's your path!  Star Lite started to enter the cave.

                           "Dad?" She called into the dark shadowed cave.

                           "Your mother has came to you. As she did to me as well. You must go and must have bravery. My young Star Lite. This your path and nothing will stop you." His voice came and he steped out of the shadows. He looked older then Star Lite could remember.

                            "I-I can't!" Star Lite said pressing her muzzle in his fur.

                            "Young Star Lite you must." He looked down on her his voice was full of sorrow.

                            The sky was setting and it glowed from it's rays that showed from behind the tree tops. Star Lite looked down from the slope she stood and a tear came from her eye. She looked at her pack that were standing at the edge of their camp. All of them glowing their own glowy glow. She let her eyes fall to the old wolves whose glows were bright and power full, to the weak and young wolves slight glow. Here eyes rested on her father whose glow was bright and powerful and looked of the glow of the red hot setting sun. She let her own white glow flow out and with a flick of her tail she turned and ran down the other side of the slope. She heard the howl of the loved ones she  was leaving and put her head to the sky and let a long powerful note ring out into the woods. she sliped between two trees and looked out onto the path she would take. Danger behind every stone. She ran down the path at a steady pace. Good bye everyone. one day i will come back even if it is only my soul in your dreams. I love all of you and will do any thing to kill the Dark Star wolf who is the biggest fear of us all. I will kill him or die trying and that's a promise.
