Nice story. It was funny. Action and comedy. Like the old Road Rovers. Also you not forgetting the 'quotes' of the character. And the hidden message, that's brilliant.

Yes, I try to stay true to the original characters (few things irritate me more than seeing someone get a character all wrong, so I make special efforts to avoid doing it myself). If you want a little tip, try reviewing what you're writing and perhaps listening to it while you write.
